1Guided elastic waves in infinite flee-clamped hollow cylinders显示文摘Guided elastic-wave-inspection technique for hollow cylinders has received plenty of attention in recent years because of its high effciency and low cost. To apply guided elastic waves to defects detection, it is necessary to investigate the propagation of guided waves in the hollow cylinders under all kinds of boundary conditions. In this paper, the dispersion equations of torsional, longitudinal and flexural guided waves in the hollow cylinders with traction-free and clamped lateral boundaries are derived by elastodynamic theory, based on which the phase and group velocity dispersion curves of the guided waves mentioned above are obtained. And the dispersion properties of these waves are discussed in detail. The transient wave in a free-clamped hollow cylinder is simulated by the finite element method (FEM). 5Theoretical investigation of laser-generated guided waves in hollow cylinders显示文摘The problem of the laser-generated guided elastic waves in hollow cylinders is inves-tigated numerically by using the method of eigen-function expansion. The explicit expression of the transient waveform is given for the case of the outer surface of the hollow cylinder beat axi-symmetrically by four laser pulses with same energy. 8Characterization of the charge transport and electrical properties in solution-processed semiconducting polymers显示文摘The conventional charge transport models based on density-and field-dependent mobility,only having a non-Arrhenius temperature dependence,cannot give good current-voltage characteristics of poly(2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethylhexyloxy)-p-phenylene vinylene)(MEH-PPV) hole-only devices.In this paper,we demonstrate that the current-voltage characteristics can give a good unified description of the temperature,carrier density and electric field dependence of mobility based on both the Arrhenius temperature dependence and the non-Arrhenius temperature dependence.Furthermore,we perform a systematic study of charge transport and electrical properties for MEH-PPV.It is shown that the boundary carrier density has an important effect on the current-voltage characteristics.Too large or too small values of boundary carrier density will lead to incorrect current-voltage characteristics.The numerically calculated carrier density is a decreasing function of the distance to the interface,and the numerically calculated electric field is an increasing function of the distance.Both the maximum of carrier density and the minimum of electric field appear near the interface.WANG LiGuo ZHANG HuaiWu TANG XiaoLi LI YuanXun ZHONG ZhiYong 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,5:0

10Propagation of acoustic waves in a coupled ice-water system for the Arctic Ocean显示文摘We studied the propagation of acoustic waves in a coupled ice-water system for the Arctic Ocean.The sea ice is considered as homogeneous as the seawater.The dispersion equation is derived by using the wave theory in solid and liquid media.By solving the dispersion equation using the bisection method,the ω-k dispersion curves are obtained,from which the phase and group velocity dispersion curves are got.Numerical results show that the dispersion curves corresponding to the waves in the coupled ice-water system arise from those corresponding to the waves in an ice layer and a water layer.For instance,the phase velocity dispersion curve corresponding to the mth(m>1)guided wave in the coupled ice-water system is formed from that corresponding to the second order wave in the ice layer and the mth(m≥1)guided waves in the water layer.The group velocity dispersion curve corresponding to the mth(m>1)order guided wave has a maximum and a minimum.The wave structure of guided waves in the coupled ice-water system is analyzed in detail.The results show that the energy of the first order guided wave is concentrated in the ice layer and the water near the ice.The distribution of radial and axial displacement amplitude of the mth(m≥2)order guided wave along the depth direction is periodic.Moreover,the higher the order,the more complex the vibration.LIU Shengxing TANG Liguo LI Zhenglin 2021Chinese Journal of Acoustics2021,40,3:0
11Micro-patterned hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin coatings on Mg-Zn-Y-Nd-Zr alloys for better corrosion resistance and cell behavior guidance显示文摘In this study,a micro-patterned hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin(HA-SF)coating was firstly fabricated on the surface of Mg-Zn-Y-Nd-Zr alloy by template-assisted electrospraying technique coupling with spin coating technique.Two types of micro-patterns were achieved with high contour accuracy,namely HA SF(line-pattern)and HA-SF(dot-pattern).The microstructure,composition,surface wettability and corrosion behaviors of the coatings were investigated by SEM,EDS,FTIR,XRD,water contact angle and potentiodynamic polarization test.The results revealed the hydrophilic nature of coatings and two orders of magnitude reduction of corrosion density(icorr)as compared with that of the substrate.All the micro-patterned surfaces promoted the attachment of MC3T3-E1 cells with visible filopodia after 1 d incubation.In addition,coatings with line pattern exhibited the superior guidance to cell migration as compared to dot pattern,and the preference of cell attachment in the convex zone was observed.In summary,the obtained micro-patterned HA-SF coatings possessed the remarkably improvement of anticorrosion ability and good efficacy in guidance of cell attachment and alignment,which can serve as a promising strategy for cellular response modulation at the interface of magnesium-based implants and bone.Lei CHANG Xiangrui LI Xuhui TANG He ZHANG Ding HE Yujun WANG Jiayin ZHAO Jingan LI Jun WANG Shijie ZHU Liguo WANG Shaokang GUAN 2020Frontiers of Materials Science2020,14,4:0
12An eigenfunction expansion method for the elastodynamic response of an elastic solid with mixed boundary surfaces显示文摘The method of eigenfunction expansion is one of the most elegant methods for solving elastodynamic problems. The solution obtained from it is more concise than that obtained from the integral transform technique. Traditional eigenfunction expansion method is used for the elastodynamic problems with displacement and traction boundary conditions. In this paper, the method is generalized to study the elastodynamic response of an elastic solid with mixed boundary surfaces, and the exact analytical solution is derived. The dynamic response of a finite-length solid aluminum cylinder with two mixed end boundaries is numerically evaluated. 13Numerical simulations of the guided elastic waves generated by laser-induced AS and ES in hollow cylinders显示文摘Numerical analyses are presented for the laser-generated guided elastic waves in hollow cylinders. The transient waveforms excited by the ablation source (AS) and the evaporation source (ES), due to the ablation and the evaporation of oil induced by impinging laser pulse, are calculated numerically by modeling different time-dependencies, i.e. the former is considered as Heaviside step function and the latter is assumed to be Dirac Delta function. Instead of using classical integral transform, the method of eigen-function expansion is employed, by which time-dependent displacement at the outer surface of hollow cylinders will be expressed by summation of longitudinal and flexural type modes. This formula is particularly suitable for analyses of generation efficiency of each guided elastic mode.
