1Large-area straight,regular periodic surface structures produced on fused silica by the interference of two femtosecond laser beams through cylindrical lens显示文摘Inhomogeneity and low efficiency are two important factors that limit the application of laser-induced periodic surface structures(LIPSSs),especially on glass surfaces.In this study,two-beam interference(TBI)of femtosecond lasers was used to produce large-area straight LIPSSs on fused silica using cylindrical lenses.Compared with those produced us-ing a single circular or cylindrical lens,the LIPSSs produced by TBI are much straighter and more regular.Depending on the laser fluence and scanning velocity,LIPSSs with grating-like or spaced LIPSSs are produced on the fused silica sur-face.Their structural colors are blue,green,and red,and only green and red,respectively.Grating-like LIPSS patterns oriented in different directions are obtained and exhibit bright and vivid colors,indicating potential applications in surface coloring and anti-counterfeiting logos.Long Chen Kaiqiang Cao Yanli Li Jukun Liu Shian Zhang Donghai Feng Zhenrong Sun Tianqing Jia 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,12:7
2Equivalent efficacy study of QL1101 and bevacizumab on untreated advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer patients: a phase 3 randomized, double-blind clinical trial显示文摘Objective:This phase 3 study aimed to test equivalence in efficacy and safety for QL1101,a bevacizumab analogue in Chinese patients with untreated locally advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:Eligible patients were randomly assigned 1:1 to receive carboplatin and paclitaxel in combination with either QL1101 or bevacizumab,15 mg/kg every 3-week for 6 cycles.This was followed by maintenance treatment with single agent QL1101 every 3-week.The primary end-point was objective response rate(ORR),with secondary end-points being progression-free survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),disease control rate(DCR),and adverse events(AEs).Results:Of 675 patients,535 eligible patients were randomized to the QL1101 group(n=269)and bevacizumab group(n=266).ORRs were 52.8%and 56.8%,respectively,for the QL1101 and bevacizumab groups,with an ORR hazard ratio 0.93(95%confidence interval:0.8-0131.1).The PFS,OS,DCR,and AEs were comparable between the 2 groups,which remained the same after stratification according to epidermal growth factor receptor mutation or smoking history.Conclusions:QL1101 showed similar efficacy and safety profiles as compared to bevacizumab among Chinese patients with untreated locally advanced non-squamous NSCLC.Tianqing Chu Jun Lu Minghong Bi Helong Zhang Wu Zhuang Yan Yu Jianhua Shi Zhendong Chen Xiaochun Zhang Qisen Guo Quan Liu Huijuan Wu Jian Fang Yi Hu Xiuwen Wang Cuicui Han Kai Li Baohui Han 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:4
3Equivalent efficacy assessment of QL1101 and bevacizumab in nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer patients:A two-year follow-up data update显示文摘Objective: Anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) monoclonal antibodies are an effective means of treating non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC). Here, we aim to update the equivalent efficacy assessment between QL1101 and bevacizumab based on two-year follow-up data.Methods: In total, 535 eligible NSCLC patients were enrolled in this randomized controlled trial. Patients were randomly assigned 1:1 to the QL1101 group and the bevacizumab group. The full end time of this study was defined as 24 months after the last enrolled patient was randomized. The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR);equivalence was confirmed if the two-sided 90% confidence interval(90% CI) of the relative risk was within the range of 0.75-1.33. The secondary endpoints were progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS).Results: The two-year updated data showed similar ORR(QL1101 vs. bevacizumab: 53.1% vs. 54.3%;relative risk=0.977;90% CI: 0.838-1.144), PFS(235 d vs. 254 d, log-rank P=0.311), and OS(577 d vs. 641 d, log-rank P=0.099) results between the QL1101 group and the bevacizumab group. The mean shrinkage ratio of targeted lesions was also similar between the QL1101 group and the bevacizumab group(22.5% vs. 23.5%). 10Weighted quantile regression for longitudinal data using empirical likelihood显示文摘This paper proposes a new weighted quantile regression model for longitudinal data with weights chosen by empirical likelihood(EL). This approach efficiently incorporates the information from the conditional quantile restrictions to account for within-subject correlations. The resulted estimate is computationally simple and has good performance under modest or high within-subject correlation. 17QTL underlying iron and zinc toxicity tolerances at seedling stage revealed by two sets of reciprocal introgression populations of rice(Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘Iron and zinc are two trace elements that are essential for rice. But they are toxic at higher concentrations, leading to severe rice yield losses especially in acid soils and inland valleys. In this study, two reciprocal introgression line(IL) populations sharing the same parents were used with high-density SNP bin markers to identify QTL tolerant to iron and zinc toxicities. The results indicated that the japonica variety 02,428 had stronger tolerance to iron and zinc toxicities than the indica variety Minghui 63. Nine and ten QTL contributing to iron and zinc toxicity tolerances,respectively, were identified in the two IL populations. The favorable alleles of most QTL came from 02,428. Among them, q FRRDW2, q ZRRDW3, and q FRSDW11 appeared to be independent of genetic background. The region C11S49–C11S60 on chromosome 11 harbored QTL affecting multiple iron and zinc toxicity tolerance-related traits, indicating partial genetic overlap between the two toxicity tolerances. 18Renewal of embryonic and neonatal-derived cardiac-resident macrophages in response to environmental cues abrogated their potential to promote cardiomyocyte proliferation via Jagged-1-Notch1显示文摘Cardiac-resident macrophages(CRMs)play important roles in homeostasis,cardiac function,and remodeling.Although CRMs play critical roles in cardiac regeneration of neonatal mice,their roles are yet to be fully elucidated.Therefore,this study aimed to investigate the dynamic changes of CRMs during cardiac ontogeny and analyze the phenotypic and functional properties of CRMs in the promotion of cardiac regeneration.During mouse cardiac ontogeny,four CRM subsets exist successively:CX3CR1+CCR2-Ly6C-MHCII-(MP1),CX3CR1lowCCR2lowLy6C-MHCII-(MP2),CX3CR1-CCR2+Ly6C+MHCII-(MP3),and CX3CR1+CCR2-Ly6C-MHCII+(MP4).MP1 cluster has different derivations(yolk sac,fetal liver,and bone marrow)and multiple functions population.Embryonic and neonatal-derived-MP1 directly promoted cardiomyocyte proliferation through Jagged-1-Notch1 axis and significantly ameliorated cardiac injury following myocardial infarction.MP2/3 subsets could survive throughout adulthood.MP4,the main population in adult mouse hearts,contributed to inflammation.During ontogeny,MP1 can convert into MP4 triggered by changes in the cellular redox state.These findings delineate the evolutionary dynamics of CRMs under physiological conditions and found direct evidence that embryonic and neonatal-derived CRMs regulate cardiomyocyte proliferation.Our findings also shed light on cardiac repair following injury.Rong Chen Shiqing Zhang Fang Liu Lin Xia Chong Wang Siamak Sandoghchian Shotorbani Huaxi Xu Subrata Chakrabarti Tianqing Peng Zhaoliang Su 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,1:1
