1Retrospective Analysis of Diagnosis by Intraoperative Frozen Section and Routine Paraffin Embedded Tissue in 638 Thyroid Disease Patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE To summarize a common pathogenetic condition,the pathologic characteristics shown in frozen section and ourexperience utilizing 2 different diagnostic methods in cases ofcommon thyroid diseases (TD).METHODS Data from 638 cases with frozen sections fromthyroid tissue were retrospectively analyzed.The intraoperativefrozen sections of the patients and postoperative diagnostic resultsof routine paraffin sections were compared.RESULTS In the 683 patients,the gender ratio of females tomales was 2.64:1,and the ratio between the patients with nodulargoiter (NG) and the patients with thyroid adenoma was 1.5:1.Theoldest age group of patients with thyroid cancer (TC) ranged from40 to 49 years.Frozen section pathologic examination has beenemployed more and more in the diagnosis of thyroid diseases,and the detection rate of TC has increased year by year,i.e.,therate increased to 6.45%,7.58%,14.55% and 16.57%,respectively,in2005,2006,2007 and 2008.Thyroid papillary carcinoma (TPC) wasthe most commonly seen malignant tumor of the thyroid (MTT),which accounted for approximately 94.8% of MTTs and 11.44%of the total TDs.Micropapillary carcinoma accounted for 27.4%of TPC,and multifocal carcinomas accounted for 15.58% of TCs.Many of the TCs (19.48%) were complicated by benign diseasessuch as adenoma,NG and thyroiditis.The coincidence rate ofdiagnoses made by frozen section and paraffin embedding forthyroid disease was 98.59%.Calcification was rather common inNG and TPC,and there were significant differences in psammomabodies (PMB) between the calcifications of TPC and NG (P<0.01).CONCLUSION TPC ranks first in the incidence of MTTsand accounts for 94.8% of all MTTs.About 1/4 of TPCs aremicropapillary carcinoma,while 1/5 are accompanied by benigndisease,such as adenoma,NG and thyroiditis.PMB are ofimportance and of significance in the diagnosis of TPC.Chunyan Xing Liwu Dong Xiaohong Wang Wei Li 2009Clinical oncology and cancer resexreh2009,6,5:3
2Au nanoring arrays as surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy substrate for chemical component study of individual atmospheric aerosol particle显示文摘Monolayer-ordered gold nanoring arrays were prepared by ion-sputtering method and used as surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)substrates to test the individual atmospheric aerosols particle.Compared to other methods used for testing atmospheric aerosols particles,the collection and subsequent detection in our work is performed directly on the gold nanoring SERS substrate without any treatment of the analyte.The SERS performance can be tuned by changing the depth of the gold nanoring cavity as originating from coupling of dipolar modes at the inner and outer surfaces of the nanorings.The electric field exhibits uniform enhancement and polarization in the ordered Au nanoring substrate,which can improve the accuracy for detecting atmospheric aerosol particles.Combined with Raman mapping,the information about chemical composition of individual atmospheric aerosols particle and distribution of specific components can be presented visually.The results show the potential of SERS in enabling improved analysis of aerosol particle chemical composition,mixing state,and other related physicochemical properties.Hanyun Cheng Xu Dong Yang Yang Yiqing Feng Tao Wang Muhammad Ali Tahir Liwu Zhang Hongbo Fu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,2:1
3Rapid Screening of 82 Pesticide Residues in Feed by Liquid Chromatography Coupled with Quadrupole-Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to establish a qualitative method for rapid detection of pesticide residues in feed.[Methods]A rapid screening method for 82 pesticide residues in feed was established using ultra liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole-time of flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS)combined with optimized pretreatment methods.[Results]Feed samples were extracted with 0.2%formic acid-acetonitrile solution,shaken,centrifuged,and re-centrifuged,and the supernatant was filtered with a 0.22μm filter membrane for determination.The samples were separated on a Waters ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 chromatographic column(2.1 mm×50 mm,1.8μm),and subjected to gradient elution with methanol-water solution as the mobile phase,and scanning was performed in ESI+mode.82 compounds could be accurately qualitatively detected in 13 min.[Conclusions]This method is simple to operate,time-saving,and can be applied to rapid screening of large-scale feed.This study provides a theoretical basis for the development of new methods in the future.Yi LI Luman HUO Mingyang LI Lixue DONG Lei WANG Liwu HAO 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,1:1
