1Cross-talk between NMDA and GABA_A receptors in cultured neurons of the rat inferior colliculus显示文摘Neuronal ion channels of different types often do not function independently but will inhibit or potentiate the activity of other types of channels,a process called cross-talk.The N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDA receptor) and the γ-aminobutyric acid type A receptor (GABAA receptor) are important excitatory and inhibitory receptors in the central nervous system,respectively.Currently,cross-talk between the NMDA receptor and the GABAA receptor,particularly in the central auditory system,is not well understood.In the present study,we investigated functional interactions between the NMDA receptor and the GABAA receptor using whole-cell patch-clamp techniques in cultured neurons from the inferior colliculus,which is an important nucleus in the central auditory system.We found that the currents induced by aspartate at 100 μmol L-1 were suppressed by the pre-perfusion of GABA at 100 μmol L-1,indicating cross-inhibition of NMDA receptors by activation of GABAA receptors.Moreover,we found that the currents induced by GABA at 100 μmol L-1 (IGABA) were not suppressed by the pre-perfusion of 100 μmol L-1 aspartate,but those induced by GABA at 3 μmol L-1 were suppressed,indicating concentration-dependent cross-inhibition of GABAA receptors by activation of NMDA receptors.In addition,inhibition of IGABA by aspartate was not affected by blockade of voltage-dependent Ca2+ channels with CdCl2 in a solution that contained Ca2+,however,CdCl2 effectively attenuated the inhibition of IGABA by aspartate when it was perfused in a solution that contained Ba2+ instead of Ca2+ or a solution that contained Ca2+ and 10 mmol L-1 BAPTA,a membrane-permeable Ca2+ chelator,suggesting that this inhibition is mediated by Ca2+ influx through NMDA receptors,rather than voltage-dependent Ca2+ channels.Finally,KN-62,a potent inhibitor of Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII),reduced the inhibition of IGABA by aspartate,indicating the involvement of CaMKII in this cross-inhibition.Our study demonstrates a functional interaction between NMDA and GABAA receptors in the inferior colliculus of rats.The presence of cross-talk between these receptors suggests that the mechanisms underlying information processing in the central auditory system may be more complex than previously believed.CONG DanNi TANG ZhengQuan LI LongZhu HUANG YiNa WANG Jun CHEN Lin 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,6:9
2Pharmacological Modulation of Vagal Nerve Activity in Cardiovascular Diseases显示文摘Cardiovascular diseases are life-threatening illnesses with high morbidity and mortality. Suppressed vagal(parasympathetic) activity and increased sympathetic activity are involved in these diseases. Currently, pharmacological interventions primarily aim to inhibit overexcitation of sympathetic nerves, while vagal modulation has been largely neglected. Many studies have demonstrated that increased vagal activity reduces cardiovascular risk factors in both animal models and human patients.Therefore, the improvement of vagal activity may be an alternate approach for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. However, drugs used for vagus nerve activation in cardiovascular diseases are limited in the clinic. In this review, we provide an overview of the potential drug targets for modulating vagal nerve activation, including muscarinic, and b-adrenergic receptors. 3A chlorinated polymer promoted analogue co-donors for efficient ternary all-polymer solar cells显示文摘The efficient ternary all-polymer solar cells(PSCs) are designed and fabricated, using a polymer acceptor of NDP-V-C7 and analogue co-donors containing a chlorinated polymer PBCl T and classical PTB7-Th. PBCl T and PTB7-Th possess very similar chemical structure and matched energy levels to form the cascade of the co-donors. Meanwhile, benefiting from those analogous polymer structures, there is little influence of the morphology in blend film compared to their pristine polymer films. The binary PBCl T:NDP-V-C7 devices exhibit a high open-circuit voltage(V_(oc)) due to the deep HOMO level of PBCl T. The V_(oc)of all-PSCs could be finely manipulated by adjusting the content of PBCl T in blend film. The ternary all-PSCs have the more balanced charge mobility and prolonged carrier lifetime compared to the binary devices. The PBCl T also help improve the miscibility of ternary blend and suppress crystallization in films, bringing about favorable morphology with appropriate orientation and surface roughness in blend film. With the optimal processing, the champion ternary all-PSCs obtain a high PCE of 9.03%, which is about 10% enhancement compared to that of binary device. 4Multifunctional MXene/C Aerogels for Enhanced Microwave Absorption and Thermal Insulation显示文摘Two-dimensional transition metal carbides and nitrides(MXene)have emerged as promising candidates for microwave absorption(MA)materials.However,they also have some drawbacks,such as poor impedance matching,high self-stacking tendency,and high density.To tackle these challenges,MXene nanosheets were incorporated into polyacrylonitrile(PAN)nanofibers and subsequently assembled into a three-dimensional(3D)network structure through PAN carbonization,yielding MXene/C aerogels.The 3D network effectively extends the path of microcurrent transmission,leading to enhanced conductive loss of electromagnetic(EM)waves.Moreover,the aerogel’s rich pore structure significantly improves the impedance matching while effectively reducing the density of the MXenebased absorbers.EM parameter analysis shows that the MXene/C aerogels exhibit a minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))value of−53.02 dB(f=4.44 GHz,t=3.8 mm),and an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 5.3 GHz(t=2.4 mm,7.44–12.72 GHz).Radar cross-sectional(RCS)simulations were employed to assess the radar stealth effect of the aerogels,revealing that the maximum RCS reduction value of the perfect electric conductor covered by the MXene/C aerogel reaches 12.02 dB m^(2).In addition to the MA performance,the MXene/C aerogel also demonstrates good thermal insulation performance,and a 5-mm-thick aerogel can generate a temperature gradient of over 30℃ at 82℃.This study provides a feasible design approach for creating lightweight,efficient,and multifunctional MXene-based MA materials.Fushuo Wu Peiying Hu Feiyue Hu Zhihua Tian Jingwen Tang Peigen Zhang Long Pan Michel WBarsoum Longzhu Cai ZhengMing Sun 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11:2

9Chlorinated polymer solar cells simultaneously enhanced by fullerene and non-fullerene ternary strategies显示文摘To achieve efficient polymer solar cells(PSCs)with full utilization of the whole spectrum,the multicomponent devices are of great importance to be deeply explored,especially for their capability of one-step fabrication.However,the research about one same binary system simultaneously derivated various multi-component PSC is still very limited.Herein,we achieved the whole constructions from one binary host to different ternary systems and even the quaternary one.The ternary strategies with fullerene acceptor,PC_(71)BM,and non-fullerene acceptor,BT_(6)IC-BO-4Cl,as the third component,both boosted the device efficiencies of PBT4Cl-Bz:IT-4F binary system from about 9% to comparatively beyond 11%.Despite the comparable improvement of performance,there existed other similarities and differences in two ternary strategies.In detail,the isotropic carrier transport of PC_(71)BM which largely elevated the fill factor(FF)in the corresponding devices,while the strong absorption of BT_(6)IC-BO-4Cl enhanced the short current density(J_(SC))most.More interestingly,quaternary devices based on PBT4Cl-Bz:IT-4F:PC71 BM:BT_(6)IC-BO-4Cl could combine both advantages of fullerene and non-fullerene ternary strategies,further pumped the J_(SC) from 16.44 to the highest level of 19.66 mA cm^(-2) among all devices,eventually resulted in an optimized efficiency of 11.69%.It reveals that both fullerene and non-fullerene ternary strategies have their unique feature to elevate the device performance either by efficient isotropic carrier transport or better coverage of whole sunlight spectrum and easy tunable energy levels from organic materials.The key is how to integrate the two pathways in one system and provide a more competitive solution facing high-quality PSCs.Longzhu Liu Pengjie Chao Daize Mo Feng He 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:1

20Solution for Distributed Model of Groundwater System with PCG2 for Naolihe Basin in Sanjiang Plain显示文摘PCG2 (Preconditioned Conjugate-Gradient Method 2), the most popular mothod used in groundwater field, was used to solve the distributed model of large-scale groundwater system. Its principle and effect was analyzed mathematically, and verified by some specifi cexamples.
