| 2 | Impacts of nano-scale pore structure and organic amine assembly in porous silica on the kinetics of CO_(2) adsorptive separation显示文摘Nano structure including pore structure and amine assembly is critical for improving sorption and desorption kinetics for adsorptive CO_(2) separation.The present work delineates(1)the influence of the nano-scale pore structure of amine-functionalized solid sorbents,and(2)effect of changing the assembly of amine molecules on surface of nano-porous SiO_(2) on the rates of adsorption and desorption of CO_(2).50PEI-MSN sorbent with inverted cone-shaped pores was prepared by using mesoporous silica nanospheres(MSN)with inverted cone-shaped pores for the loading of polyethyleneimine(PEI).Co-structure-directing(CSD)method was used to synthesize the sorbent with arranged amine assembly at nano-scale(2N-CSD).By comparison with 50PE卜SBA15 as a benchmark sorbent,both sorbents have improved sorption and desorption kinetics.There are significant effects of nano pore structure and amine assembly on the sorption and desorption kinetics.The inverted cone-shaped pores in MSN allow loading polymeric amines in their narrower ends and leaving larger pore mouths open for the transport of CO_(2);50PEI-MSN shows a maximum sorption rate of 81.4 mg·g^(-1)·min^(-1) with average sorption rate of 25.4mg·g^(-1)·min^(-1) at 80℃ which are 34%and 59%higher than the corresponding values for 50PEI-SBA15;a maximum desorption rate of 38.4mg·g^(-1)·min^(-1) with average desorption rate of 11.8 mg·g^(-1)·min^(-1) ramping from 30 to 95℃ which are 37%and 156%higher than the corresponding values for 50PEI-SBA15.The arranged monolayer-like amine assembly on surface of nanoporous SiO_(2) likely provides high amine sorption sites through improved accessibility of amine,and 2N-CSD shows a maximum sorption rate of 60.5 mg·g^(-1)·min^(-1),with average sorption rate of 12.8mg·g^(-1)·min^(-1) at 300C which are 108%and 205%higher than the corresponding values for 50PEI-SBA15;a lower maximum desorption rate of 9.7 mg g'1min'1 and average desorption rate of 9.8mg·g^(-1)·min^(-1) ramping from 30 to 95℃ which is 250%higher than the corresponding value for 50PEI-SBA15.The present work demonstrates the importance of tailoring nano-scale pore structure and amine assembly for significantly improving sorption and desorption kinetics of adsorptive CO_(2) separation. | Feijian Lou Guanghui Zhang Limin Ren Xinwen Guo Chunshan Song | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,9: | 2 |

| 8 | Characteristics of onset and damping in a standing-wave thermoacoustic engine driven by liquid nitrogen显示文摘We explore characteristics of onset and damping in a thermoacoustic engine (TE) driven by cryogens instead of conventional heat sources above the ambient temperature by a comprehensive study of a self-made standing-wave thermoacoustic engine driven by liquid nitrogen. The experiments verify the feasibility of enhancing the thermoacoustic oscillation at cryogenic temperatures. The onset temperature difference along the stack of the TE significantly decreases, compared with that of a conventional TE driven by high-temperature heat sources. The resonance frequency of the cryogen-driven TE is smaller than that of the heat-source-driven TE, mainly due to the lower average temperature of the working gas. Experiments and calculations show that the temperature discrepancy between onset and damping is partly caused by the linear temperature distribution along the stack before damping, together with the nonlinear distribution before onset. | 9 | Identifi cation and functional analysis of phosphorylation residues of the Arabidopsis BOTRYTIS-INDUCED KINASE1显示文摘Arabidopsis BOTRYTIS-INDUCED KINASE1(BIK1)is a receptor-like cytoplasmic kinase acting early in multiple signaling pathways important for plant growth and innate immunity.It is known to form a signaling complex with a cell-surface receptor FLS2 and a co-receptor kinase BAK1 to transduce signals upon perception of pathogen-asso-ciated molecular patterns(PAMPs).Although site-specifi c phosphorylation is speculated to mediate the activation and function of BIK1,few studies have been devoted to complete profiling of BIK1 phosphorylation residues.Here,we identified nineteen in vitro autophosphoryla-tion sites of BIK1 including three phosphotyrosine sites,thereby proving BIK1 is a dual-specifi city kinase for the fi rst time.The kinase activity of BIK1 substitution mutants were explicitly assessed using quantitative mass spec-trometry(MS).Thr-237,Thr-242 and Tyr-250 were found to most signifi cantly affect BIK1 activity in autophosphoryla-tion and phosphorylation of BAK1 in vitro.A structural model of BIK1 was built to further illustrate the molecular functions of specifi c phosphorylation residues.We also mapped new sites of FLS2 phosphorylation by BIK1,which are different from those by BAK1.These in vitro results could provide new hypotheses for more in-depth in vivo studies leading to deeper understanding of how phosphorylation contributes to BIK1 activation and medi-ates downstream signaling specifi city. | Jinhua Xu Xiaochao Wei Limin Yan Dan Liu Yuanyuan Ma Yu Guo Chune Peng Honggang Zhou Cheng Yang Zhiyong Lou Wenqing Shui | 2013 | Protein & Cell2013,4,10: | 0 |
