1Adaptive digital self-interference cancellation based on fractional order LMS in LFMCW radar显示文摘Adaptive digital self-interference cancellation(ADSIC)is a significant method to suppress self-interference and improve the performance of the linear frequency modulated continuous wave(LFMCW)radar.Due to efficient implementation structure,the conventional method based on least mean square(LMS)is widely used,but its performance is not sufficient for LFMCW radar.To achieve a better self-interference cancellation(SIC)result and more optimal radar performance,we present an ADSIC method based on fractional order LMS(FOLMS),which utilizes the multi-path cancellation structure and adaptively updates the weight coefficients of the cancellation system.First,we derive the iterative expression of the weight coefficients by using the fractional order derivative and short-term memory principle.Then,to solve the problem that it is difficult to select the parameters of the proposed method due to the non-stationary characteristics of radar transmitted signals,we construct the performance evaluation model of LFMCW radar,and analyze the relationship between the mean square deviation and the parameters of FOLMS.Finally,the theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method has a better SIC performance than the conventional methods.LUO Yongjiang BI Luhao ZHAO Dong 2021Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2021,32,3:3
2Laser Additive Manufacturing of Bio-inspired Metallic Structures显示文摘High-performance/multifunctional metallic components primarily determine the service performance of equip-ment applied in the aerospace,aviation,and automobile industries.Organisms have developed structures with specific properties over millions of years of natural evolution,thereby providing inspiration for the design of high-performance structures to satisfy the increasing demands of modern industries.From the perspective of manufacturing,the ability of conventional processing technologies is inadequate for fabricating these complex structural configurations.By contrast,laser additive manufacturing(AM)is an effective method for fabricating complex metallic bio-inspired structures owing to its layer-by-layer deposition advantage.Herein,recent devel-opments in the laser AM of bio-inspired cellular,plate,and truss structures,as well as the materials used in laser AM for bio-inspired printing are briefly reviewed.The organisms being imitated include butterfly,Norway spruce,mantis shrimp,beetle,and water spider,which expand the diversity of multifunctional structures for laser AM.The mechanical properties and functions of laser-AM-processed bio-inspired structures are discussed.Additionally,the challenges,possible outcomes,and directions of utilizing laser AM technology to fabricate high-performance/multifunctional metallic bio-inspired structures in the future are outlined.Jiankai Yang Dongdong Gu Kaijie Lin Yicha Zhang Meng Guo Luhao Yuan Han Zhang Hongmei Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(Additive Manufacturing Frontiers)2022,1,1:1

4Does Horizontal-Paradigm Aid Weaken the Governance of Recipient Countries?Evidence from China显示文摘China's aid has always been an interesting topic in the field of development economics,and the effectiveness of aid is also a controversial subject in the literature.This paper explores the relationship between China's aid and the governance of its recipient countries from 2000 to 2014.We found that,compared with the vertical paradigm'of traditional donors,China's f,horizontal paradigm‘‘has unique features,promoting the governance of recipient countries.We employed a cross-sectional estimation and panel analysis with several regression methods.While our cross-sectional findings did not yield robust evidence to support a relationship between Chinese aid and its recipients'governance,our panel data regressions found a significant and positive relationship.The results were robust in a dynamic panel,even after correcting for endogeneity.Thus,China's aid has a positive influence on governance with the inclusion of time series.The relationship was found to vary according to aid types.Luhao Liu Xudong Hu Zhongxiu Zhao 2022China & World Economy2022,30,2:0
5Electrically Actuated Shape Recovery of NiTi Components Processed by Laser Powder Bed Fusion after Regulating the Dimensional Accuracy and Phase Transformation Behavior显示文摘To develop self-recovery intelligent components based on resistance heating and obtain satisfactory performance in practical applications,this study optimized the forming quality,dimensional accuracy,and phase transformation temperatures of Nickel-titanium(NiTi)alloys by controlling the process parameters.The tensile properties and shape-memory effects of the NiTi alloys prepared using the optimized process were clarified.The relationship between the change in temperature and the shape recovery process of the deformed structure under electrical excitation was investigated.The results show that the suitable processing window for ensuring the forming quality without noticeable distortion and macro cracks depends on the laser parameters.In both the X and Y directions,the measured dimensions increased with an increase in laser power and first decreased and then stabilized with an increase in scanning speed.The XRD results showed that all the as-built samples consisted of B2 austenite and B19’martensite phases and Ni3Ti.Mechanical tests suggested that excellent tensile properties with a tensile strength of 753.28 MPa and elongation of 6.81%could be obtained under the optimal parameters of 250 W and 1200 mm/s.An excellent shape-recovery rate of 88.23%was achieved under the optimal parameters.Subsequently,chiral lattice structures were successfully fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)under the optimal parameters,and a shape-recovery rate of 96.7%was achieved under electrical actuation for a structure with a pre-compressed strain of 20%.This study also found that the temperatures at the grasp regions were always higher than those at other positions because of the generation of contact resistance at the grasp regions.This facilitates the rapid recovery of the structure at the grasp regions,which has important implications for the design iteration of NiTi smart components.Luhao Yuan Dongdong Gu Kaijie Lin He Liu Jianfeng Sun Jiankai Yang Xin Liu Wei Chen Yingjie Song 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(Additive Manufacturing Frontiers)2022,1,4:0
6Novel Class of Additive Manufactured NiTi-Based Hierarchically Graded Chiral Structure with Low-force Compressive Actuation for Elastocaloric Heat Pumps显示文摘Elastocaloric refrigeration is the most promising green solid-state refrigeration technology to replace conventional vapor compression refrigeration.The development direction of the elastocaloric component that acts as a key part of the elastocaloric refrigeration system contains a large elastocaloric effect,low stress hysteresis,high heat exchange performance,and small driving loads.The first two indices can be realized by material modification;however,the last two are more dependent on a novel porous structure design.However,the conventional porous structure is confronted with some critical challenges,including inhomogeneous stress,a significant hysteresis area,and deformation instability under the alternating cyclic loading.In this study,a NiTi-based elastocaloric structure model with chirality feature and gradient design as innovative elements was presented,bio-inspired by the structure of the plant tendrils.A quantitative optimization for the NiTi-based elastocaloric structure was performed using the finite element analysis(FEA)method.Strain and martensite volume fraction(MVF)fields during the loading and unloading processes were predicted and evaluated.The simulated results indicated that increasing the thickness gradient g_(1) of the strip or decreasing the diameter gradient g_(2) of the structure was beneficial to achieving more homogeneous strain and martensite distribution,simultaneously with higher energy storage efficiency and specific surface area.In addition,these NiTi-based chiral structures with different structural parameters were fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF).At the optimized structure parameters of g_(1)=2 and g_(2)=1.11,the LPBF-fabricated NiTi-based chiral structure could achieve an adiabatic temperature change ΔT_(ad) of 2.3 K,driving force of as low as 149.11 N,and|ΔT_(ad)/F|of as high as 15.42 K/kN at a recoverable compressive strain of 10%.Xin Peng Luhao Yuan Donghua Dai Yu Liu Dongya Li Dehui Zhu Ziyu Fang Chenglong Ma Dongdong Gu Meiping Wu 2023Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(Additive Manufacturing Frontiers)2023,2,2:0

8Study of rapid face modeling technology based on Kinect显示文摘This paper improves the algorithm of point cloud filtering and registration in 3D modeling,aiming for smaller sampling error and shorter processing time of point cloud data.Based on collaborative sampling among several Kinect devices,we analyze the deficiency of current filtering algorithm,and use a novel method of point cloud filtering.Meanwhile,we use Fast Point Feature Histogram(FPFH)algorithm for feature extraction and point cloud registration.Compared with the aligning process using Point Feature Histograms(PFH),it only takes 9min when the number of points is about 500,000,shortening the aligning time by 47.1%.To measure the accuracy of the registration,we propose an algorithm which calculates the average distance of the corresponding coincident parts of two point clouds,and we improve the accuracy to an average distance of 0.7mm.In the surface reconstruction section,we adopt Ball Pivoting algorithm for surface reconstruction,obtaining image with higher accuracy in a shorter time.Shan Liu Guanghong Gong Luhao Xiao Mengyuan Sun Zhengliang Zhu 2018International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2018,9,1:0
9Pilot Based Channel Estimation in IEEE 802 16a OFDM System显示文摘Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) is a kind of transmission techniques with high frequency efficiency, which will be widely used in next-generation wireless communication systems. In this paper, pilot-based channel estimation for IEEE 802.16a OFDM system is studied. By comparing the performance of LS(least squares) estimator and Linear Minimum Mean-Square Error(LMMSE) estimator using Preamble 1 and Preamble 2 suggested by IEEE 802.16a standard in slow fading channel, we propose that Preamble 1 can be used in small multipath delay spread channel and Preamble 2 can be used in large multipath delay spread channel.
