| 2 | A new choice of stent for transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt creation: Viabahn ePTFE covered stent/bare metal stent combination显示文摘Objectives:To compare the clinical outcomes in terms of structure and function between the insertion of a transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS) created with the Viabahn ePTFE covered stent/bare metal stent(BMS) combination and the Fluency ePTFE covered stent/BMS combination.Methods:A total of 101 consecutive patients who received a TIPS from February 2016 to August 2018 in our center were retrospectively analyzed.Sixty-four subjects were enrolled in the Viabahn group and 37 were enrolled in the Fluency group.The geometry characteristics of the TIPS were calculated,and the associated occurrence of shunt dysfunction,survival,overt hepatic encephalopathy,and variceal rebleeding were evaluated.Results:The technical success rate was 100%.After the insertion of the TIPS,the rate of shunt dysfunction during the first 3 months was significantly different between the Viabahn and Fluency groups(1.6% and 13.5%,respectively;p=0.024).Multivariate analysis indicated that the angle of portal venous inflow(α) was the only independent risk factor for shunt dysfunction(hazard ratio=1.060,95% confidence interval=1.009-1.112,p=0.020).In addition,3 months after the TIPS insertion,the a angle distinctly increased from 20.9°±14.3°-26.9°±20.1°(p=0.005) in the Fluency group but did not change significantly in the Viabahn group(from 21.9°±15.1°-22.9°± 17.6°,p=0.798).Conclusions:Shunt dysfunction was related to the a angle owing to the slight effect on the a angle after the implantation of the TIPS.The Viabahn ePTFE covered stent/BMS combination was more stable in structure and promised higher short-term stent patency compared with the Fluency ePTFE covered stent/BMS combination. | Jiacheng Liu Jie Meng Chen Zhou Qin Shi Chongtu Yang Jinqiang Ma Manman Chen Bin Xiong | 2021 | Journal of Interventional Medicine2021,4,1: | 9 |

| 4 | Pharmacokinetics of H002, a novel S1PR_1 modulator, and its metabolites in rat blood using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘A rapid and sensitive liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry(LC–MS/MS) method was developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of H002 and its phosphorylated metabolite, H002-P and hydroxylated metabolite H002-M, in rat blood. H001, an analogue of H002, was used as the internal standard.Blood samples were prepared by simple protein precipitation. The analytes and internal standard were separated on a Zorbax SB-C18 column with a gradient mobile phase consisting of methanol and water containing 0.1% formic acid at a flow rate of 0.2 mL /min with an operating temperature of 20 1C. The detection was performed on a triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer with positive electrospray ionization in multiple-reaction monitoring mode.Linear detection responses were obtained from 0.2–100 ng/mL for H002 and H002-M, while 0.5–100 ng/mL for H002-P. The intra- and inter-day precision(RSD%) was within 11.76%, with the accuracy(RE%) ranging from –9.84% to 9.12%. | 5 | Stimulus-Responsive Room Temperature Phosphorescence Materials:Internal Mechanism,Design Strategy,and Potential Application显示文摘CONSPECTUS:Room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)materials,which could respond to external stimuli,such as force,heat,light,electric filed,etc.,have drawn increasing attention for their broad application prospects,especially in the fields of anticounterfeiting,sensors,data storage,and so on.In comparison with the traditional fluorescence ones,RTP materials show much longer emission lifetimes,which can be even caught by the naked eye.Thus,the change in emission lifetime under an external stimulus for RTP materials can be also a potential monitoring parameter,in addition to emission color and intensity.In other words,the number of visual monitoring parameters could increase from two to three in RTP materials,which would greatly facilitate their practical applications.Until now,RTP materials have been typically limited to metal-containing inorganic materials,particularly rare-earth phosphors.Their emissions are governed by the slow liberation of trapped charge carriers from isolated traps of impurities,defects,or ions through thermal stimulation with low luminescence efficiency.However,these materials suffer from some intrinsic disadvantages,including high cost,potential toxicity,and instability in aqueous environments.In order to solve these problems,the purely organic RTP materials should be a good choice.However,these kinds of materials are really scarce now,especially for the ones with stimulus response characteristic.To develop purely organic RTP materials with a stimulus response effect,we and other scientists have tried a lot.Luckily,some progresses have been made.In this Account,we present our recent progress on the stimulus-responsive room temperature phosphorescence of organic materials,mainly focusing on the internal mechanism and potential applications.First,the fundamental knowledge is described to illustrate the importance and main principles of the stimulus-responsive RTP effect.Then,some typical stimulus-responsive RTP materials based on different internal mechanisms are discussed.Mainly,two kinds of stimulus-responsive RTP materials were introduced,namely,single-component and multicomponent ones.Correspondingly,their dynamic change of the RTP property under external stimulus occurred based on the distinct internal mechanisms.For single-component materials,the changes in molecular structure,packing,or conformation,have played a significant role in their corresponding stimulus-responsive RTP effect.As for multicomponent materials,the changed oxygen concentration in matrix and intermolecular distance between different components were found more during the stimulus-responsive RTP process.Accordingly,different potential applications were explored based on the different stimulus-responsive RTP processes.With the classification of stimulus-responsive RTP materials based on different internal mechanisms,the corresponding design strategy could be well proposed,thus guiding the further development of this research field. | Jie Yang Manman Fang Zhen Li | 2021 | Accounts of Materials Research2021,2,8: | 3 |
| 6 | AFF3-DNA methylation interplay in maintaining the mono-allelic expression pattern of XIST in terminally differentiated cells显示文摘X chromosome inactivation and genomic imprinting are two classic epigenetic regulatory processes that cause mono-allelic gene expression.In female mammals,mono-allelic expression of the long non-coding RNA gene X-inactive specific transcript(XIST)is essential for initiation of X chromosome inactivation upon differentiation.We have previously demonstrated that the central factor of super elongation complex-like 3(SEC-L3),AFF3,is enriched at gamete differentially methylated regions(DMRs)of the imprinted loci and regulates the imprinted gene expression.Here,we found that AFF3 can also bind to the DMR downstream of the XIST promoter.Knockdown of AFF3 leads to de-repression of the inactive allele of X IST in terminally differentiated cells.In addition,the binding of AFF3 to the XIST DMR relies on DNA methylation and also regulates DNA methylation level at DMR region.However,the KAP1-H3K9 methylation machineries,which regulate the imprinted loci,might not play major roles in maintaining the mono-aUelic expression pattern of XIST in these cells.Thus,our results suggest that the differential mechanisms involved in the X IST DMR and gDMR regulation,which both require AFF3 and DNA methylation. | Yue Zhang Chao Wang Xiaoxu Liu Qian Yang Hongliang Ji Mengjun Yang Manman Xu Yunyan Zhou Wei Xie Zhuojuan Luo Chengqi Lin | 2019 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2019,11,9: | 3 |

| 11 | The equal-efficiency-proving of fluorescence quenching and enhancement equation显示文摘Through the fluorescence and ultraviolet- visible spectrophotometry we have studied the action of ce- foperazone sodium and worfloxacin, two kinds of medicine with albumin, and examined the equal efficiency quality of fluorescence enhancement and fluorescence quenching equa- tion. The result shows the equal efficiency of calculating dis- sociation constant. In this article, we obtain the dissociation constants of the action of the two kinds of medicine with bo- vine serum albumin, energy- transfer efficiency, the distance of donor-acceptor and quenching constants. The above shows that the action is not caused by dynamic collision but by the binding of medicine and albumin. This article specially points out that the [Mt]/[Pt], which is the ratio of the maxi- mum mol concentration of the quenching agent (medicine) to fluorescent (albumin) mol concentration when the quenching ends, is very important because it is the maximum binding number of quenching agent molecule to a fluorescent mole- cule. There is no more quenching after adding more quench- ing agent beyond this quantity to fluorescent solution. | 13 | Study on the binding mode of Mg(Sal_2trien) with DNA显示文摘In this study the complex Mg(Sal2trien) was synthesized for the first time, the binding mode of which with CT DNA was studied by the methods of UV spectra, fluorescence spectra, viscosity and CV (cyclic voltammetry). It was found that after the com- plex acted with CT DNA, the Abs of UV spectra rose obviously; the fluorescence intensity of EB-DNA was almost not changed; viscosity decreased. Determina- tion of cyclic voltammetry showed that DNA made the MgL’s formal potential negatively shift. Scatchard plot showed that the addition of the binding mode of the complex to EB was uncompetitive inhibition com- pared with EB to DNA. | 15 | A Highly Efficient and Selective Water-Soluble Bimetallic Catalyst for Hydrogenation of Chloronitrobenzene to Chloroaniline显示文摘Selective hydrogenation of chloronitrobenzene(CNB) to chloroaniline(CAN) catalyzed by water-soluble Ru/Pt bimetallic catalyst in an aqueous-organic biphasic system was studied. It was found that the catalytic activity increased obviously due to the addition of platinum. Ru/Pt bimetallic catalysts exhibited a strong synergistic effect when the molar ratio of Pt was in the range of 5%—80%. Under the mild conditions including a temperature of 25 ℃, a hydrogen pressure of 1.0 MPa and a Pt molar ratio of 20%, the conversion of p-chloronitrobenzene(p-CNB) reached 99.9%, with the selectivity to p-chloroaniline(p-CAN) equating to 99.4%. The Ru/Pt catalyst also showed high activity and selectivity for the hydrogenation of other chloro- and dichloro-nitrobenzenes with different substituted positions. | 17 | In situ fabrication of Na3V2(PO4)3 quantum dots in hard carbon nanosheets by using lignocelluloses for sodium ion batteries显示文摘The rational assembly of quantum dots on two-dimensional(2 D) carbonaceous materials is very promising to produce materials, but remains a challenge. Here, we develop an assembly strategy of growing Na3 V2(PO4)3 quantum dots with superlattice structure(NVP-QDs-SL) for obtaining precise control of the size, distribution and crystallinity. The multifunctional lignocelluloses(LCs) used as a hard carbon source induce heterogeneous nucleation and confined growth of NVP-QDs-SL, leading to the uniform distribution of NVP-QDs-SL in H/S-doped hard carbon ultra-thin nanosheets(HCS). Detailed electrochemical analysis results from sodium-ion batteries of NVP-QDs-SL show that NVP-QDs-SL could trap the electrons inside HCS, significantly enhancing Na ion storage and transfer kinetics. Compared to the common Na3 V2(PO4)3 nanoparticle cathode, the NVP-QDs-SL/HCS cathode exhibits a high reversible capacity of 149.2 m A h g^-1 at a 0.1 C rate, which is far beyond the theoretical capacity of Na3 V2(PO4)3(117.6 m A h g^-1).At the ultrahigh current rate of 100 C, this cathode still remains a high discharge capacity of 40 m A h g-1.Even after cycling at 20 C over 3000 cycles, an ultrahigh coulombic efficiency close to 100% is still obtained,highlighting its excellent long cycling life, remarkable rate performance and energy density. | Qihao Zhang Xudong Zhang Wen He Guogang Xu Manman Ren Jinhua Liu Xuena Yang Feng Wang | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,10: | 1 |
