1The roles of microglia in viral encephalitis:from sensome to therapeutic targeting显示文摘Viral encephalitis is a devastating disease with high mortality,and survivors often suffer from severe neurological complications.Microglia are innate immune cells of the central nervous system(CNS)parenchyma whose turnover is reliant on local proliferation.Microglia express a diverse range of proteins,which allows them to continuously sense the environment and quickly react to changes.Under inflammatory conditions such as CNS viral infection,microglia promote innate and adaptive immune responses to protect the host.However,during viral infection,a dysregulated microglia-T-cell interplay may result in altered phagocytosis of neuronal synapses by microglia that causes neurocognitive impairment.In this review,we summarize the current knowledge on the role of microglia in viral encephalitis,propose questions to be answered in the future and suggest possible therapeutic targets.Chintan Chhatbar Marco Prinz 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2:9

3Microglia in the CNS:Immigrants from Another World显示文摘小胶质细胞是脑内的免疫细胞,持续监测周围环境的变化。大约100多年前,研究者们就发现了小胶质细胞,但对于其来源,学术界一直存在争议。除了在胚胎发育的早期,迁徙进入发育中的神经外胚层的粒单核细胞群之外,在成年脑组织中,新迁入的骨髓细胞也是疾病的重要调节因子。因此,了解骨髓细胞从外周进入脑内及其分化为骨髓来源吞噬细胞的机制,有助于控制免疫细胞进入中枢神经系统,可能有利于疾病的控制。其中一个关键的问题是,骨髓来源的单核吞噬细胞是否具有和脑内源性免疫细胞相似的特征和作用。近年来,对小胶质细胞的生理和病理方面的研究较多,尤其是结合新基因定位技术,可以对细胞进行修饰、操控和跟踪分析,使得对小胶质细胞的生物学特性的认识有了较大的突破。本文即对相关研究进展综述如下。MARCO PRINZ ALEXANDER MILDNER 2011神经损伤与功能重建2011,6,4:6
