| 1 | A practical guide to amplicon and metagenomic analysis of microbiome data显示文摘Advances in high-throughput sequencing(HTS)have fostered rapid developments in the field of microbiome research,and massive microbiome datasets are now being generated.However,the diversity of software tools and the complexity of analysis pipelines make it difficult to access this field.Here,we systematically summarize the advantages and limitations of microbiome methods.Then,we recommend specific pipelines for amplicon and metagenomic analyses,and describe commonly-used software and databases,to help researchers select the appropriate tools.Furthermore,we introduce statistical and visualization methods suitable for microbiome analysis,including alpha-and betadiversity,taxonomic composition,difference comparisons,correlation,networks,machine learning,evolution,source tracing,and common visualization styles to help researchers make informed choices.Finally,a stepby-step reproducible analysis guide is introduced.We hope this review will allow researchers to carry out data analysis more effectively and to quickly select the appropriate tools in order to efficiently mine the biological significance behind the data. | Yong-Xin Liu Yuan Qin Tong Chen Meiping Lu Xubo Qian Xiaoxuan Guo Yang Bai | 2021 | Protein & Cell2021，12，5： | 20 |
| 2 | Effects of lysedEnterococcus faecalis FK-23 on experimental allergic rhinitis in a murine model显示文摘In the current study,we sought to investigate whether lysed Enterococcus faecalis FK-23(LFK),a heat-killed probiotic preparation,attenuated eosinophil influx into the upper airway and had immunomodulatory activity in a murine allergic rhinitis model.Eighteen BALB/c mice were divided into three groups;the ovalbumin(OVA)-sensitized/challenged group,which received saline orally for 6 weeks(OVA group),the OVA-sensitized/challenged group,which received LFK orally for 6 weeks(LFK-fed group),and the non-sensitized group,which received saline for 6 weeks(saline control group).Nasal rubbing and sneezing were monitored during the study.After the final challenge,interleukin(IL)-4,interferon(IFN)-γ,and OVA-specific IgE levels in the sera and splenocyte culture supernatants were determined,eosinophilic infiltrate into the upper airway was quantified,and splenic CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells(Tregs) were examined by flow cytometry.We found that nasal rubbing was significantly reduced in LFK-fed mice compared to the OVA group on d 27 and 35,and sneezing was significantly inhibited by LFK administration for 35 d.LFK-fed mice had significantly less eosinophil influx into the nasal mucosa than the OVA group.There were no significant differences between the LFK-fed group and OVA group in the serum and splenocyte culture supernatant levels of IL-4,IFN-γ,and OVA-specific IgE.Interestingly,the LFK-fed mice had a significantly greater percentage of splenic CD4+CD25+ Tregs than OVA group.Our results indicate that oral administration of LFK may alleviate nasal symptoms,reduce nasal eosinophilia,and increase the percentage of CD4+CD25+ Tregs in experimental allergic rhinitis. | Luping Zhu Takashi Shimada Ruoxi Chen Meiping Lu Qingzhao Zhang Wenmin Lu Min Yin Tadao Enomoto Lei Cheng | 2012 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2012，26，3： | 11 |
| 3 | The pinhole SPECT for animal model of bone metastasis with SPC-A-1BM human pulmonary adenocarcinoma bone metastasis cell line显示文摘The study was to investigate the role of pinhole single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), the human pulmonary adenocarcinoma bone-seeking metastasis cell line SPC-A-1BM was used.These cells form typical osteolytic bone metastases when inoculated into the arterial circulation of NIH-Beige-Nude-XD (BNX) mice via the left ventricle.In order to evaluate the irradiation impact of ^(99m)Tc-MDP versus X-ray on cells growth,we used six groups of SPC-A-1BM cells in our imaging scheme and irradiated by various doses of ^(99m)Tc-MDP (37,74,111, 370,740 MBq) and X-ray(40 kV,2 mA,6 s) respectively.The cell's number of each group was well recorded in different exposure time(4,8,12,24,48,72,96 hours).After that,SPC-A-1BM cells(1×106) were inoculated into the mice via left ventricle.We compared the results obtained with those different doses of ^(99m)Tc-MDP using pinhole SPECT and conventional X-ray skeletal surveys.The data show that the cell-survival number of 111 MBq group has insignificant difference with that of X-ray and the dose is adequate to have an ideal image.Besides,it is important that the chromosome of the cells in the group of 111 MBq showed no irradiation-related damages in our test.These results implied that ^(99m)Tc-MDP pinhole SPECT may provide another way other than conventional X-ray skeletal surveys in detecting bone metastasis of pulmonary adenocarcinoma in BNX mice. | GAO Xiuli YANG Shunfang YU Yongli SHI Meiping ZHAO Lanxiang YE Jianding LU Jianying | 2008 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2008，19，5： | 1 |

| 10 | Inhibition Mechanism of Antifungal Monomer DZP8 against Rhizoctonia solani显示文摘In order to study the inhibition mechanism of antifungal monomers DZP8 produced by streptomyces 702 strain against Rhizoctonia solani, the effects of DZP8 on mycelial morphology were investigated under light microscope, and the effects of DZP8 on mycelial inclusion leakage and cell membrane damage of mycelium were determined. The results showed that DZP8 caused a series of changes in mycelial morphology of R. solani in liquid culture condition. DZP8 treatments with concentrations of 1.81 and 3.35 μg/mL for 24 h caused big vacuole, rough surface and more inclusions of mycelium. With the treatment time prolonging, the mycelium distorted and appeared irregular constriction. DZP8 treatment with concentration of 20.10 μg/mL led to the increase of conductivity of mycelium culture liquid, leakage of soluble sugar and protein, and the lipid peroxidation of mycelium membrane. It was found that DZP8 at a very low concentration could cause changes of mycelial morphology of R. solani, while only a certain concentration could cause significant damage to cell membrane. | 11 | Investigation and Analysis of the Cognition of Menopause in Women Over 40 Years Old显示文摘Objective:To investigate and analyze the cognition of menopause in women over 40 years old.Methods:Using the stratified sampling method,224 females,age ranging from 40 to 60,from our university staff(Xi’an Medical University)and the surrounding communities were selected,and both online and offline questionnaires were distributed.Results:(1)224 questionnaires were recovered,with 204 valid questionnaires,among which 100 questionnaires were from our university staff(aged 42-60 years old)and 104 questionnaires from the surrounding communities(aged 40-60 years old);(2)the cognition of menopause among the surveyed population was found to be related to occupation and education level;the cognition of menopause among university staff(76%)was significantly higher than that of the surrounding communities(45.19%);(3)most people were able to accept menopausal hormone therapy;the degree of acceptance among the university staff(80%)was found to be higher than that among the surrounding communities(60.58%).Conclusion:According to the recovered data,women over the age of 40 have less than ideal cognition of menopause,and although the cognitive level of the university staff on menopause was found to be significantly higher than that of the surrounding communities,their cognitive level still requires improvement. | Meiping Chen Ting Fang Lu Chen Shurong Li Rongrong Huang Yangfang Tang | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2022，6，6： | 0 |
