| 1 | Phylogenetic constrains on mycorrhizal specificity in eight Dendrobium(Orchidaceae) species显示文摘Plant phylogeny constrains orchid mycorrhizal(OrM) fungal community composition in some orchids. Here, we investigated the structures of the OrM fungal communities of eight Dendrobium species in one niche to determine whether similarities in the OrM fungal communities correlated with the phylogeny of the host plants and whether the Dendrobium-OrM fungal interactions are phylogenetically conserved. A phylogeny based on DNA data was constructed for the eight coexisting Dendrobium species,and the OrM fungal communities were characterized by their roots. There were 31 different fungal lineages associated with the eight Dendrobium species. In total, 82.98% of the identified associations belonging to Tulasnellaceae, and a smaller proportion involved members of the unknown Basidiomycota(9.67%). Community analyses revealed that phylogenetically related Dendrobium tended to interact with a similar set of Tulasnellaceae fungi. The interactions between Dendrobium and Tulasnellaceae fungi were significantly influenced by the phylogenetic relationships among the Dendrobium species. | 3 | Establishment of a mouse model of cancer cachexia with spleen deficiency syndrome and the effects of atractylenolide I显示文摘Cancer cachexia is a multifactorial metabolic syndrome that affects~50%–80%of cancer patients,and no effective therapy for cancer cachexia is presently available.In traditional Chinese medicine,a large portion of patients with cancer cachexia was diagnosed as spleen deficiency syndrome and treated with tonifying TCMs that produce clinic benefits.In this study we established a new animal model of spleen deficiency and cancer cachexia in mice and evaluated the therapeutic effects of atractylenolide I,an active component of tonifying TCM BaiZhu,in the mouse model.Cancer cachexia was induced in male BALB/c mice by inoculation of mouse C26 colon adenocarcinoma cells,whereas spleen deficiency syndrome was induced by treating the mice with spleen deficiency-inducing factors,including limited feeding,fatigue,and purging.The mouse model was characterized by both cachexia and spleen deficiency characteristics,including significant body weight loss,cancer growth,muscle atrophy,fat lipolysis,spleen,and thymus atrophy as compared with healthy control mice,cancer cachexia mice,and spleen deficiency mice.Oral administration of atractylenolide I(20 mg·kg?1per day,for 30 days)significantly ameliorated the reduction in body weight and atrophy of muscle,fat,spleen,and thymus in mice with spleen deficiency and cachexia.The established model of spleen deficiency and cancer cachexia might be useful in the future for screening possible anticachexia TCMs and clarifying their mechanisms. | Wan-li Zhang Na Li Qiang Shen Men Fan Xiao-dong Guo Xiong-wen Zhang Zhou Zhang Xuan Liu | 2020 | Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2020,41,2: | 6 |

| 6 | Revisiting the effects of Co_(2)O_(3)on multiscale defect structures and relevant electrical properties in ZnO varistors显示文摘Element doping is an effective method to improve the performance of ZnO varistors.Previous studies mainly focused on the variation of microstructures and Schottky barriers.In this study,the effects of Co dopant on electrical properties are investigated from the aspect of multiscale defect structures,including intrinsic point defects,the heterogeneous interface of depletion/intergranular layers,and interface states at grain boundaries.Combining with analysis of phase composition and energy dispersive spectroscopy,it is found that Co tends to dissolve into ZnO grains when slightly doped.It substitutes Zn2+with the same valence and affects little on densities of donors.Segregation of Co at grain boundaries would result in the formation of spinel phase Co(Co4/3Sb2/3)O4 and transformation of the intergranular phase fromα-Bi2O3 toδ-Bi2O3.Meanwhile,densities of point defects are indirectly affected by oxygen ambient during sintering,resulting in abnormal variation of grain resistivity.And interface states are enhanced,leading to improved barriers at grain boundaries.Therefore,reduced leakage current,enhanced grain resistivity,and improved non-linear coefficient in Co-doped ZnO varistor blocks are understood from the underlying multiple defect structures.This presents a potential approach to explore short-term performance and long-term stability of ZnO varistors from the aspect of defect responses. | Men Guo Yao Wang Kangning Wu Lei Zhang Xia Zhao Ying Lin Jianying Li | 2020 | High Voltage2020,5,3: | 2 |

The ileum digesta were collected and analyzed for determination of apparent and true digestibility of protein and amino acids. Results The apparent and true digestibility of protein was similar in these two types of rice. | 14 | Ectoparasite communities on Tupaia belangeri (Scandentia:Tupaiidae) in surrounding areas of Erhai Lake in Yunnan,China显示文摘Objective:To investigate the ectoparasite communities on Tupaia belangeri (T. belangeri) in the surrounding areas of Erhai Lake and their potential importance in medical and veterinary science. Methods: Different locations in surrounding areas of Erhai Lake in Yunnan were selected as the investigation spots. T. belangeri were randomly captured with baited mouse cages and then brought to the laboratory for identification according to their body shape, size and color, and measurements such as the lengths of their body, ear and hind feet. Ectoparasites on them were collected and identified to determine the species under microscope after specimens were mounted on slides, with the clearing and drying process completed. The constituent ratio (C), prevalence (P) and average ectoparasite abundance (A) were used to test the prevalence and density of ectoparasites; Non-parametric Mann-Whitney U-tests were used to test the differences in the abundance and richness of ectoparasites between female and male hosts; Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between ectoparasites and the body parameters of hosts. Results: There was very high species diversity of ectoparasites found on T. belangeri and some species of ectoparasites were reported associated with human diseases. A high proportion (88%) of 107 T. belangeri was found to be infested with ectoparasites. A total of 75 species of ectoparasites on them were collected, including 58 species of chigger mite, 12 species of gamasid mite, 4 species of flea and 1 species of sucking louse. Within this ectoparasite complex, 13 species were previously reported to be vectors of human disease agents. Non-parametric Mann-Whitney U-tests showed significant differences between male and female T. belangeri in terms of the abundance and richness of total ectoparasites. However, the species richness and abundance of chigger mites, sucking lice, fleas or gamasid mites presented no significant differences between male and female hosts. Spearman correlation analysis showed that none of correlations were observed between host body parameters with abundance and richness of total ectoparasites, chigger mites, suckinglice, fleas or gamatid mites.
