| 1 | Quantum-safe cryptography:crossroads of coding theory and cryptography显示文摘We present an overview of quantum-safe cryptography(QSC)with a focus on post-quantum cryptography(PQC)and information-theoretic security.From a cryptographic point of view,lattice and code-based schemes are among the most promising PQC solutions.Both approaches are based on the hardness of decoding problems of linear codes with different metrics.From an information-theoretic point of view,lattices and linear codes can be constructed to achieve certain secrecy quantities for wiretap channels as is intrinsically classical-and quantum-safe.Historically,coding theory and cryptography are intimately connected since Shannon’s pioneering studies but have somehow diverged later.QSC offers an opportunity to rebuild the synergy of the two areas,hopefully leading to further development beyond the NIST PQC standardization process.In this paper,we provide a survey of lattice and code designs that are believed to be quantum-safe in the area of cryptography or coding theory.The interplay and similarities between the two areas are discussed.We also conclude our understandings and prospects of future research after NIST PQC standardisation. | Jiabo WANG Ling LIU Shanxiang LYU Zheng WANG Mengfan ZHENG Fuchun LIN Zhao CHEN Liuguo YIN Xiaofu WU Cong LING | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,1: | 1 |
| 2 | Coordination Polymers with Bipyridyl Diene and Triene Ligands:Synthesis,Structures and Luminescent Properties显示文摘Solvothermal reactions of cadmium salts with bipyridyl diene and triene ligands[1,3-bis((E)-2-(pyridin-4-yl)vinyl)benzene-(1,3-bpeb) and 1,6-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,3,5-hexatriene(bphte)] and one bipyridyl triene ligand[1,6-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,3,5-hexatriene-(bphte)] in the presence of auxiliary carboxylic acids including 2,6-dichlorobenzoic acid(2,6-HDCBA) and 2-naphthal-enecarboxylic acid(2-HNCA) gave rise to four coordination polymers[Cd(bphte)(2,6-DCBA)2]n(1), {[Cd(bphte)(2-NCA)2]·5.8H2O}n(2),[Cd2(1,3-bpeb)2(2,6-DCBA)4]n(3) and {[Cd4(1,3-bpeb)4(2-NCA)7(HCOO)]·2-HNCA·H2O}n(4), respectively. Compounds 1-4 were structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. They possess one-dimensional linear(1, 2) and zigzag(3, 4) chain structures. | 3 | Stratified Analysis of Survival Benefit for ABO-incompatible Deceased-donor Liver Transplantation:Multicenter Propensity Score-matched Study显示文摘Background and Aims:Liver transplantation(LT)using ABO-incompatible(ABOi)grafts can extend the donor pool to a certain extent and hence reduce the waiting time for transplantation.However,concerns of the impending prognosis associated with this option,especially for patients with liver failure and higher model for end-stage liver disease(MELD)scores,who tend to be more fragile during the waiting period before LT.Methods:Recipients undergoing LT for acute-onchronic liver failure or acute liver failure were retrospectively enrolled at four institutions.Overall survival was compared and a Cox regression analysis was performed.Propensity score matching was performed for further comparison.Patients were stratified by MELD score and cold ischemia time(CIT)to determine the subgroups with survival benefits.Results:Two hundred ten recipients who underwent ABOi LT and 1,829 who underwent ABO compatible(ABOc)LT were enrolled.The 5-year overall survival rate was significantly inferior in the ABOi group compared with the ABOc group after matching(50.6%vs.75.7%,p<0.05).For patients with MELD scores≤30,using ABOi grafts achieved a comparable overall survival rate as using ABOc grafts(p>0.05).Comparison of the survival rates revealed no statistically significant difference for patients with MELD scores≥40(p>0.05).For patients with MELD scores of 31-39,the overall survival rate was significantly inferior in the ABOi group compared with the ABOc group(p<0.001);however,the rate was increased when the liver graft CIT was<8 h.Conclusions:For recipients with MELD scores≤30,ABOi LT had a prognosis comparable to that of ABOc LT and can be regarded as a feasible option.For recipients with MELD scores≥40,ABOi should be adopted with caution in emergency cases.For recipients with MELD scores of 31-39,the ABOi LT prognosis was worse.However,those patients benefited from receiving ABOi grafts with a CIT of<8 h. | Mengfan Yang Xuyong Wei Abdul Rehman Khan Qiang Wei Rui Wang Binhua Pan Kun Wang Zhisheng Zhou Di Lu Beini Cen Shuijun Zhang Wenzhi Guo Shusen Zheng Yang Yang Xiao Xu | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,4: | 0 |
