| 1 | Effects of cooling rates on the mechanical properties of a Ti-based bulk metallic glass显示文摘Mechanical properties of the glassy specimens fabricated at different cooling rates with a composition of Ti40Zr25Cu12Ni3Be20 were systematically investigated. It was confirmed that faster cooling rates caused not only a larger amount of frozen-in free volume but also a higher glass transition temperature in the bulk glassy alloy. Increase in the free volume was found to favor plastic deformation and then to give rise to larger compressive plasticity, whilst the rise in the glass transition temperature seemed to be closely related to the higher yield strength. Moreover, the increase of yield strength and plasticity induced by fast cooling rates may also be associated with the residual stress generated during the fabrication process. | 2 | Thermal stability of nitride solar selective absorbing coatings used in high temperature parabolic trough current显示文摘This paper reports a new efficient solar selective surface in high temperature application.The influence of the monolayer's microstructure and deposition rate was firstly discussed.Then the nitride nano-multilayer on the polished stainless steel (herein after referred as 'SS') substrate was prepared with Ti and Al metal targets by DC.and R.F.magnetron co-sputtering.The samples were annealed in air at different temperatures ranging from 350 to 800°C for 2 h to evaluate their thermal stability.The samples' surface and cross-section morphology,crystal structure,phase composition,optical properties were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer and infrared emissivity tester.The results show that the coatings exhibit high solar selectivity (α/ε) of 0.943/0.08 even after heat-treatment up to 400°C for 2 h in air.After heat-treatment at 600°C in air,the solar selectivity decreases to 0.92/0.16. | HAO Lei,DU Miao,LIU XiaoPeng,WANG ShuMao,JIANG LiJun,Lü Fang,LI ZhiNian & MI Jing Department of Energy Material and Technology,General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals,Beijing 100088,China | 2010 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,6: | 4 |
| 3 | Enhancement of Ti-Cr-V BCC alloys on the dehydrogenation kinetics of Li-Mg-N-H hydrogen storage materials显示文摘The hydrogen storage properties of a Li-Mg-N-H material doped by a 4 mol.% Ti3Cr3V4 body centre cubic(BCC) alloy hydride and prepared with a ball-milling method were investigated by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and Sievert's technology test.The results show that the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy hydride/Li-Mg-N-H composite has good reversible hydrogen storage properties.The dehydrogenation kinetics of the Li-Mg-N-H system can be greatly improved by doping the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy hydride.The composite desorbed 4.1 wt.% hydrogen in the first 60 min at 473 K under 0.1 MPa pressure,but when without the BCC alloy addition,only 3.0 wt.% hydrogen was desorbed under the same dehydrogenation condition.It can be deduced that the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy uniformly distributed in the Li-Mg-N-H substrate could decrease the activating energy of hydrogen molecules to H atoms and increase H diffusion paths in the composite,enhancing the dehydrogenation kinetics of the Li-Mg-N-H system. | WANG Jingchuan,LI Zhinian,LI Hualing,MI Jing,Lü Fang,WANG Shumao,LIU Xiaopeng,and JIANG Lijun General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals,Beijing 100088,China | 2010 | Rare Metals2010,29,6: | 3 |

| 8 | Fabrication of atomically smooth SrRuO_3 thin films by laser molecular beam epitaxy显示文摘High-quality SrRuO3 (SRO) thin films and SrTiO3/SRO bilayer were grown epitaxially on SrTiO3 (STO)(001) substrates by laser molecular beam epitaxy. The results of in situ observation of reflection high-energy electron diffraction and ex situ X-ray diffraction θ -2θ scan indicate that the SRO thin films have good crystallinity. The measurements of atomic force microscopy and scan tunneling microscopy reveal that the surface of the SRO thin film is atomically smooth. The resistivity of the SRO thin film is 300 μΩ·cm at room temperature. Furthermore, the transmission electron microscopy study shows that the interfaces of STO/SRO and SRO/STO are very clear and no interfacial reaction layer was observed.
