| 5 | The mRNA–miRNA–lncRNA Regulatory Network and Factors Associated with Prognosis Prediction of Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘The aim of this study was to identify novel prognostic mRNA and microRNA(miRNA)biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)using methods in systems biology.Differentially expressed mRNAs,miRNAs,and long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)were compared between HCC tumor tissues and normal liver tissues in The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database.Subsequently,a prognosis-associated mRNA co-expression network,an mRNA–miRNA reg-ulatory network,and an mRNA–miRNA–lncRNA regulatory network were constructed to identify prognostic biomarkers for HCC through Cox survival analysis.Seven prognosis-associated mRNA co-expression modules were obtained by analyzing these differentially expressed mRNAs.An expression module including 120 mRNAs was significantly corre-lated with HCC patient survival.Combined with patient survival data,several mRNAs and miRNAs,including CHST4,SLC22A8,STC2,hsa-miR-326,and hsa-miR-21 were identified from the network to predict HCC patient prognosis.Clinical significance was investigated using tissue microarray analysis of samples from 258 patients with HCC.Functional annotation of hsa-miR-326 and hsa-miR-21-5p indicated specific associations with several cancer-related pathways.The present study provides a bioinformatics method for biomarker screening,leading to the identification of an integrated mRNA–miRNA–lncRNA regulatory network and their co-expression patterns in relation to predicting HCC patient survival. | Bo Hu Xiaolu Ma Peiyao Fu Qiman Sun Weiguo Tang Haixiang Sun Zhangfu Yang Mincheng Yu Jian Zhou Jia Fan Yang Xu | 2021 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,6: | 0 |
| 6 | Quantifying multiple social relationships based on a multiplex stochastic block model显示文摘Online social networks have attracted great attention recently, because they make it easy to build social connections for people all over the world. However, the observed structure of an online social network is always the aggregation of multiple social relationships. Thus, it is of great importance for real-world networks to reconstruct the full network structure using limited observations. The multiplex stochastic block model is introduced to describe multiple social ties, where different layers correspond to different attributes(e.g., age and gender of users in a social network). In this letter, we aim to improve the model precision using maximum likelihood estimation, where the precision is defined by the cross entropy of parameters between the data and model. Within this framework, the layers and partitions of nodes in a multiplex network are determined by natural node annotations, and the aggregate of the multiplex network is available. | 9 | Multimodal Fraudulent Website Identification Method Based on Heterogeneous Model Ensemble显示文摘The feature analysis of fraudulent websites is of great significance to the combat,prevention and control of telecom fraud crimes.Aiming to address the shortcomings of existing analytical approaches,i.e.single dimension and venerability to anti-reconnaissance,this paper adopts the Stacking,the ensemble learning algorithm,combines multiple modalities such as text,image and URL,and proposes a multimodal fraudulent website identification method by ensembling heterogeneous models.Crossvalidation is first used in the training of multiple largely different base classifiers that are strong in learning,such as BERT model,residual neural network(ResNet)and logistic regression model.Classification of the text,image and URL features are then performed respectively.The results of the base classifiers are taken as the input of the meta-classifier,and the output of which is eventually used as the final identification.The study indicates that the fusion method is more effective in identifying fraudulent websites than the single-modal method,and the recall is increased by at least 1%.In addition,the deployment of the algorithm to the real Internet environment shows the improvement of the identification accuracy by at least 1.9%compared with other fusion methods. | Shengli Zhou Linqi Ruan Qingyang Xu Mincheng Chen | 2023 | China Communications2023,20,5: | 0 |
