1High power, longevity gallium arsenide photoconductive semiconductor switches显示文摘A GaAs Photoconductive Semiconductor Switch (PCSS) with a 3-mm gap between the two opposed contact electrodes was developed with carefully chosen GaAs material, mechanical structure design, contact fabrication techniques and its insulation protection. It is charged by a pulse power supply under a bias of 15 kV, illuminated by laser pulses of 1064 nm in wavelength, 56.12 μJ in optical energy per shot and 1 kHz pulse repetition rate (PRR). The GaAs PCSS can last for more than 3.6×106 shots and produce output pulses of 2 MW in peak power, 2 ns pulse duration and 65 ps time jitter from a 50-Ω load of the oscilloscope. When an electric field of 100 kV/cm bias was applied, the peak power of the load was measured at 10 MW. A series of measurements on the voltage conversion rates (VCR) and time jitters have been carried out as the bias voltage increases. 2Deformation Behavior and Microstructure Evolution of AA2024-H18 Aluminum Alloy by Hot Forming with Synchronous Cooling Operations显示文摘Hot forming with synchronous cooling(HFSC)is a novel technique for heat-treatable,high-strength aluminum alloys,which allows the alloys to acquire good formability,negligible springback,rapid processing and better mechanical properties.However,the deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of the alloys during HFSC are complex and need to be studied due to the temperature and strain rate effects.Uniaxial tensile tests in a temperature range of 250—450℃and a strain rate range of 0.01—1 s-1 for AA2024-H18 aluminum alloy sheet are conducted with a Gleeble-3500 Thermal-Mechanical Simulation Tester.And based on metallography observation and analysis,AA2024-H18 aluminum alloy sheet in HSFC process exhibits hardening and dynamic recovery behaviors within the temperature range of 250—450 ℃.Strain rate shows different effects on ductility at different temperatures.Compared with traditional warm/hot forming methods,AA2024-H18 aluminum alloy achieves a better work-hardening result through HFSC operations,which promises an improved formability at elevated temperature and thus good mechanical properties of final part.After HSFC operations,the microstructure of the specimens is composed of elongated static recrystallization grain.Chen Guoliang Chen Minghe Wang Ning Sun Jiawei 2017Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2017,34,5:2
3Group Buying of Competing Retailers with Fairness Concerns显示文摘The fairness concern behavior is particularly common among members in supply chain framework.The downstream retailers often compare their profits with those of the other members in the supply chain,especially that of the supplier,and do not like the unfavorable distribution of the total profits.This work considers a supply chain consisting of a supplier and two competing retailers with fairness concerns.The supplier offers a wholesale contract with quantity discount,and the two competing retailers have the options of individual purchasing and group buying.Through a Stackelberg game model,the optimal decisions for the players are obtained for the group buying and the individual purchasing strategies.The results indicate that the supplier benefits more than the retailers from the group buying strategy.In particular,the group buying strategy gives the supplier a higher profit if the operational cost of group buying is below a threshold.Furthermore,the fairness concern behavior of the retailers does not always hurt the profit of the supplier.Specifically,the supplier will benefit from the fairness concern behavior of the retailers in individual purchasing when the retailers operates in a relatively poor environment.Finally,market competition between the two fairness concerned retailers does not always benefit the supplier.Fierce competition between the fairness concerned retailers reduces the supplier's profit if the group buying strategy is used when the retailers operates in a relatively poor environment.Na He Zhong-Zhong Jiang Minghe Sun Ying Sheng 2020Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2020,29,6:1

7Insulation degradation and fracture cracks of mechanical impacted thermal-ageing oil-impregnated papers显示文摘In order to elucidate mechanical impacts affecting the insulation strength of thermalageing oil-impregnated pressboards,we perform mechanical degradation experiments of impacting forces that are represented as the winding-suffered stresses on thermalageing oil-paper insulation in transient short-circuit of transformer.Water content,degree of polymerisation(DP),partial discharge inception voltage and AC breakdown field strength are tested and analysed for diverse thermal-ageing levels.An analytical model of mechanical degradation is established by relating dielectric breakdown strength to mechanical impact.Mechanical impacts result in less water content in thermal-aging oilimpregnated pressboards while causing reduction and increment of DP,respectively,in mildly and severely aged oil-impregnated pressboards.Partial discharge inception voltage and dielectric breakdown strength vary significantly with the numbers of impact cycles,showing a maximum value under low-intensity impact and decreasing monotonously under high-intensity impact.High-intensity mechanical impacts will evidently exacerbate the thermal deterioration process of oil-impregnated pressboards,which is primarily attributed to cellulose fibre fractures in pressboard cracks produced by equivalent tensile stress of mechanical impacts.It is acceptable for mildly aged oil-impregnated pressboards to suffer low-intensity mechanical impacts that will alleviate insulation degradation by restraining partial discharge in smaller oil-gaps and prolonging breakdown discharge pathways along impact-caused cracks.Minghe Chi Ruochun Xia Yi Guan Weifeng Sun Ji Liu Qingguo Chen 2023High Voltage2023,8,1:1
8Optimization of fracture reduction robot controller based on improved sparrow algorithm显示文摘The accuracy of a fracture reduction robot(FRR)is critical for ensuring the safety of surgery.Improving the repositioning accuracy of a FRR,reducing the error,and realizing a safer and more stable folding motion is critical.To achieve this,a sparrow search algorithm(SSA)based on the Levy flight operator was proposed in this study for self-tuning the robot controller parameters.An inverse kinematic analysis of the FRR was also performed.The robot dynamics model was established using Simulink,and the inverse dynamics controller for the fracture reduction mechanism was designed using the computed torque control method.Both simulation and physical experiments were also performed.The actual motion trajectory of the actuator drive rod and its error with a desired trajectory was obtained through simulation.An optimized Levy-sparrow search algorithm(Levy-SSA)crack reduction robot controller demonstrated an overall reduction of two orders of magnitude in the reduction error,with an average error reduction of 98.74%compared with the traditional unoptimized controller.The Levy-SSA increased the convergence of the crack reduction robot control system to the optimal solution,improved the accuracy of the motion trajectory,and exhibited important implications for robot controller optimization.Baichuan An Jianwen Chen Hao Sun Minghuan Yin Zicheng Song Chao Zhuang Cheng Chang Minghe Liu 2023Biomimetic Intelligence & Robotics2023,3,4:1

11Methylation in hangtaimycin biosynthesis and its antibacterial activities显示文摘About two-thirds of small molecule drugs contain methyl group and it plays a very important role in the drug development.So,methyltransferases catalyzing the methylation have always attracted great attention.Hangtaimycin(HTM)is a potent hepatoprotective agent.Previous study showed that its biosynthetic gene cluster contained three methyltransferase domains,but their characteristics in HTM biosynthetic pathway has not been revealed.In this study,we clarified multi-methylations in HTM biosynthesis in vivo.It showed that the two S-adenosylmethionine-dependent methyltransferases(SAM-MTs)of HtmA2(-module 6)-MT domain and HtmB2(-module 18)-MT domain are responsible for the installation of methyl group at C-45 and N-12,respectively,whereas the FK506 methyltransferase(FKMT)type O-methyltransferase of HtmB1(-module 16)-MT domain take care of the methylation at O-21 of HTM.We also reported the antibacterial activities of HTM in this study,and found that it showed activities against M.luteus,B.thuringiensis and A.baumannii with MIC of 4μg/mL,4μg/mL,and 64μg/mL,respectively.Minghe Luo Yulu Dong Zixin Deng Yuhui Sun 2023Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,4:0
12The impact of the COVID-19 prevention and economic interventions on express delivery industry:Evidence from China显示文摘As a fundamental logistics service,the express delivery(ED)industry provides production and consumption activities to maintain efficient supply chain operations.It plays an important role in promoting industrial development and maintaining daily life and consumption.This study examined the effects of COVID-19 on the ED industry using ED package delivery data from 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in China.Using a difference-in-differences method,the COVID-19 outbreak was found to have a positive effect and epidemic prevention and control(EPC)policies were found to have negative effects on the development of the ED industry.In addition to EPC policies,the Chinese government has implemented other short-term economic interventions(SEI),such as the resumption of work and production(RWP),policies to balance economic growth,and epidemic prevention.This study divided the pandemic period into three stages to analyze the different impacts of EPC and SEI policy changes on the ED industry.The RWP policies adopted during the pandemic positively impacted the volume and income of packages delivered to the ED industry.The conclusions of this study are significant for the ED industry in addressing public health emergencies and for the Chinese government to formulate EPC and SEI policies during epidemic periods.Juan Liu Jiafu Tang Minghe Sun 2024Journal of Management Science and Engineering2024,9,1:0
13Synthesis and structure of NaNbO_3 ceramic powders in ultrahigh pressure field显示文摘The NaNbO3 powders were synthesized and their crystal structure changes were analyzed by ultrahigh pressure up to 6 GPa.The results indicate that the pure NaNbO3 powders can be synthesized at 300℃ under a pressure of 4 GPa, to sig- nificantly restrain the Na element volatilization compared with the traditional syn- thesis method.
