| 1 | Removal of dust from flue gas in magnetically stabilized fluidized bed显示文摘A magnetically stabilized fluidized bed(MSFB, 500 mm×2100 mm) was designed to study dust removal from flue gas.Based on the mechanism of dust removal in a fixed bed,the effects on collection efficiency of magnetic field intensity,ratio of flue gas velocity to minimum fluidization velocity,bed height,and particle average diameter,were investigated.Then feasible methods for MSFB to better remove dust were proposed.Over 95% of dust removal with MSFB can be achieved,when stable fluidization is maintained and when magnetic particles are frequently renewed. | Yinghui Wang Keting Gui Mingheng Shi Changfeng Li | 2008 | Particuology2008,6,2: | 8 |
| 2 | RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF VIRTUAL PROTOTYPE OF RUNNING GEARS FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE显示文摘Virtual prototype is an important idea to resolve design problems of railway vehicle. A different development method,which is based on national product and autonomous development,and would like to reflect the specialty of railway vehicle development in China,is presented. According to the developing process of railway vehicle,the research contents and developing method are pointed out. The integration between CAD and performance analysis software on dynamics and strength is mainly considered. In CAD environment,the properties for dynamics computing are extracted directly from the model and exported with model. This method can avoid data losing caused by model rebuilding in CAE software,and increase the direct dependence of product CAD. Then the vehicle model with properties will be used for real-time dynamics and kinematics analysis and simulation. Therefore,the strength of the parts can be analyzed. The results of dynamics and strength analysis will be fed back to optimize the design model. All operations are dispatched by a control platform,and all data are managed according to the principle of PDM. | 3 | Numerical study on optical and electric-thermal performance for solar concentrating PV/T air system显示文摘Hybrid photovoltaic/thermal(PV/T)system with solar concentrator is an effective way to improve solar energy conversion efficiency.In this work,a single-pass PV/T air system with a three-trough compound parabolic concentrator(CPC)of concentration ratio 2.0 is designed and the solar incident distributions at the solar cell surface are calculated by ray tracing method.Based on energy balance,the heat transfer models of all main components in this system are developed.The effects of some main designing and operational parameters on the electric-thermal performance of the system are analyzed. The results show that the solar radiation intensity can be higher than 1200 W/m 2 at most area of the cell surface.The temperature of the air and cell surface increases along the length of the system.Thus the system efficiency of the CPC is higher than that of the system without the CPC.The thermal efficiency, exergy and electrical efficiency of this CPC system increase with increasing of the air mass flow rate and the length of the system.With increasing packing fraction the electrical efficiency increases,but the thermal efficiency decreases.The exergy efficiency increases slightly with the packing fraction rising.The data obtained in this work are valuable for the design and operation for this kind of solar concentrating PV/T systems. | SUN Jian 1,2 &SHI MingHeng 1 1School of Energy and Environment,Southeast University,Nanjing 210096,China 2Department of Thermal Energy Engineering,Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute,Jingdezhen 333001,China | 2009 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,12: | 5 |
| 4 | Determination of effective thermal conductivity for polyurethane foam by use of fractal method显示文摘The microstructure of polyurethane foam is disordered, which influences the foam heat conduction process significantly. In this paper foam structure is described by using the local area fractal dimension in a certain small range of length scales. An equivalent element cell is constructed based on the local fractal dimensions along the directions parallel and transverse to the heat flux. By use of fractal void fraction a simpli- fied heat conduction model is proposed to calculate the effective thermal conductivity of polyurethane foam. | 5 | Reaction path synthesis methodology for waste minimization显示文摘It is a key step for reducing waste generation in chemical processes to design op-timal reaction paths. In this paper, methods of waste minimization for reaction path synthesis problems are proposed to realize eco-industrial production mode with minimum waste emission. A new conception of simple stoichiometric reaction is presented for reaction path synthesis problem. All simple stoichiometric reactions can be obtained by mathematical transformation for atom matrix of a reaction system. Based on the conception, a two-tier optimization method for complex reaction path synthesis problems is addressed. The first step is to determine the eco-nomic optimal overall reactions, and the second step to decompose each overall reaction into several sub-reactions and find out the best thermodynamic feasible reaction path. Further, a method of reaction path synthesis with waste closed-cycle is proposed based on simple stoichiometric reactions for achieving zero waste emission to poly-generation problem of multi-products. | 11 | Study on two-phase countercurrent flow and transport phenomenon in PEM of a direct methanol fuel cell显示文摘Based on the requirement of water management for a direct methanol fuel cell, this paper analyzes qualitatively the mechanism of occurrence and development of a two-phase countercurrent flow with corresponding transport phenomenon in the PEM. A one-dimensional, steady state quantitative model of heat and mass transfer in internal volumetric ohmic heating porous media saturated by liquid and vapor phases is developed. The effects of capillarity, electro-osmotic drag and phase change are included. Two im-portant formulas to calculate the theoretical length of two-phase zone δ t and determine the critical criterion |?ω /γ |cr for dryout in PEM are deduced. By use of these two dimen-sionless parameters, dryout of PEM can be easily predicted. Theoretical temperature, pressure and saturation profiles within the two-phase region are obtained numerically, which can help to explore the performance of a DMFC operating in its ohmic polarization region.
