1Inhibition effects of benzalkonium chloride on Chlorella vulgaris induced corrosion of carbon steel显示文摘In this work,a surfactant,benzalkonium chloride(BAC),was used to study its effects on both the growth of Chlorella vulgaris and the corrosion caused by its biofilm.Experimental results indicated that BAC at a low concentration of 3 mg/L suppressed C.vulgaris growth and achieved 81%corrosion inhibition based on weight loss reduction.The inhibition effects increased when the BAC dosage was increased.At 30 mg/L,the corrosion inhibition increased to 95%.Electrochemical results supported surface pitting analysis,weight loss results data and confirmed the corrosion inhibition.Junlei Wang Tiansui Zhang Xinxin Zhang Muhammed Asif Lipei Jiang Shuang Dong Tingyue Gu Hongfang Liu 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,36,8:4
2Neuro-heuristic computational intelligence for solving nonlinear pantograph systems显示文摘本文提出了一种启发式神经网络计算平台,用于解决基于不同阶数泛函微分方程的非线性受电弓系统(Pantograph systems based on functional differential equations,P-FDEs)中的初值问题(Initial value problems,IVPs)。该方案利用了前馈人工神经网络(Artificial neural networks,ANNs)、基于遗传算法(Genetic algorithms,GAs)的进化计算技术,以及内点技术(Interior-point technique,IPT)。通过设定一个无监督学习误差,针对完全和不完全满足初始条件两种情况,利用ANNs创建了系统的两种数学模型。采用GA–IPT混合算法,对ANN模型的设计参数进行了优化。在GA–IPT中,GA是有效的全局搜索工具,IPT则用于快速的局部收敛。针对三种不同类型的1–3阶P-FDEs的IVPs对该方案进行了测试。通过对比现有的精确解,确认了该方案的正确性。通过采用不同数量神经元的ANN模型进行了大量的数值实验,进一步验证了该方案的准确性和收敛性。Muhammad Asif Zahoor RAJA Iftikhar AHMAD Imtiaz KHAN Muhammed Ibrahem SYAM Abdul Majid WAZWAZ 2017Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2017,18,4:1

4Impact of chronological ageing on semen parameters in southern Indian men visiting infertility centre:A retrospective study显示文摘Objective:To investigate the association between age and semen parameters among male partners of subfertile couples.Methods:This retrospective study analyzed the semen of 1523 infertile men aged 26 to 50 years.Data were extracted from GarbhaGudi IVF Centre database from January 2019 to September 2020.The basic semen parameters were interpreted according to the WHO manual 2021,6th edition.Semen parameters in different age groups were compared.Results:Total and progressive motile sperms were significantly higher in the age group of 26-30 years compared to other age groups(P<0.05).Normal sperm count was significantly higher in the age group of 26-30 years compared to the age groups of 41-45 years and>46 years(P=0.001).However,sperm head defects,neck and midpiece defects,tail defects,and cytoplasmic droplets showed statistically insignificant difference in all the age groups(P>0.05).Semen viscosity showed no statistical difference in all the age groups compared to the reference age group of 26 to 30 years.Conclusions:Higher age can lead to a significant decrease in normal sperms and motility in subfertile men.Hence,male partner age should be considered as one of the major determining factors for reproductive outcomes.Muhammed Asif Asha S.Vijay Maheshwari Syed Fyzullah Usha Rani Swathi R Damodara Gowda KM 2023Asian pacific Journal of Reproduction2023,12,1:0
