| 1 | A method for real power transfer allocation using multivariable regression analysis显示文摘A multivariable regression(MVR) approach is proposed to identify the real power transfer between generators and loads.Based on solved load flow results,it first uses modified nodal equation method(MNE) to determine real power contribution from each generator to loads.Then,the results of MNE method and load flow information are utilized to determine suitable regression coefficients using MVR model to estimate the power transfer.The 25-bus equivalent system of south Malaysia is utilized as a test system to illustrate the effectiveness of the MVR output compared to that of the MNE method.The error of the estimate of MVR method ranges from 0.001 4 to 0.007 9.Furthermore,when compared to MNE method,MVR method computes generator contribution to loads within 26.40 ms whereas the MNE method takes 360 ms for the calculation of same real power transfer allocation.Therefore,MVR method is more suitable for real time power transfer allocation. | Hussain Shareef Azah Mohamed Saifunizam Abd.Khalid Mohd Wazir Mustafa | 2012 | Journal of Central South University2012，19，1： | 5 |
| 2 | Dicentrine is preferentially antagonistic to rat aortic than splenic α_(1-)adrenoceptor stimulation显示文摘AIM: Dicentrine is a known α1-adrenoceptor antagonist, but its 1α-adrenoceptor subtype selectivity has not yet been determined. We therefore, investigated the putative α1-adrenoceptor subtype selectivity of this agent. METHODS : Graded isometric contractile responses of rat aortic rings and spleen to phenylephrine were observed in the absence or presence of various concentrations of dicentrine. The pA2 values for dicentrine were determined. RESULTS: Aortic tissues were more sensitive to phenylephrine-induced contraction than the spleen tissues. Dicentrine was approximately 100 times more potent as an antagonist to the aortic contraction, than it was to the splenic contractions. | 3 | Noise Reduction Technique Applied to the Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves显示文摘This paper shows the presence of noises and technique to reduce these noises during the surface wave analysis. The frequency-dependent properties of Rayleigh-type surface waves can be used for imaging and characterizing the shallow subsurface. Interference by coherent source-generated noise inhibits the reliability of shear-wave velocities determined through inversion of the phase velocities of Rayleigh waves. Among these interferences by non-planar, non-fundamental mode Rayleigh waves (noise) are body waves, scattered and non-source-generated surface waves, and highermode surface waves. For the reduction of noise, the filtering technique is implemented in this paper for the multichannel analysis of surface wave method (MASW). With the denoising technique during the MASW method, more robust and reliable outcome is achieved. | 6 | Effect of Direct Statistical Contrast Enhancement Technique on Document Image Binarization显示文摘Background:Contrast enhancement plays an important role in the image processing field.Contrast correction has performed an adjustment on the darkness or brightness of the input image and increases the quality of the image.Objective:This paper proposed a novel method based on statistical data from the local mean and local standard deviation.Method:The proposed method modifies the mean and standard deviation of a neighbourhood at each pixel and divides it into three categories:background,foreground,and problematic(contrast&luminosity)region.Experimental results from both visual and objective aspects show that the proposed method can normalize the contrast variation problem effectively compared to Histogram Equalization(HE),Difference of Gaussian(DoG),and Butterworth Homomorphic Filtering(BHF).Seven(7)types of binarization methods were tested on the corrected image and produced a positive and impressive result.Result:Finally,a comparison in terms of Signal Noise Ratio(SNR),Misclassification Error(ME),F-measure,Peak Signal Noise Ratio(PSNR),Misclassification Penalty Metric(MPM),and Accuracy was calculated.Each binarization method shows an incremented result after applying it onto the corrected image compared to the original image.The SNR result of our proposed image is 9.350 higher than the three(3)other methods.The average increment after five(5)types of evaluation are:(Otsu=41.64%,Local Adaptive=7.05%,Niblack=30.28%,Bernsen=25%,Bradley=3.54%,Nick=1.59%,Gradient-Based=14.6%).Conclusion:The results presented in this paper effectively solve the contrast problem and finally produce better quality images. | Wan Azani Mustafa Haniza Yazid Ahmed Alkhayyat Mohd Aminudin Jamlos Hasliza A.Rahim | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022，，2： | 1 |

| 15 | A Novel Auto-Annotation Technique for Aspect Level Sentiment Analysis显示文摘In machine learning,sentiment analysis is a technique to find and analyze the sentiments hidden in the text.For sentiment analysis,annotated data is a basic requirement.Generally,this data is manually annotated.Manual annotation is time consuming,costly and laborious process.To overcome these resource constraints this research has proposed a fully automated annotation technique for aspect level sentiment analysis.Dataset is created from the reviews of ten most popular songs on YouTube.Reviews of five aspects—voice,video,music,lyrics and song,are extracted.An N-Gram based technique is proposed.Complete dataset consists of 369436 reviews that took 173.53 s to annotate using the proposed technique while this dataset might have taken approximately 2.07 million seconds(575 h)if it was annotated manually.For the validation of the proposed technique,a sub-dataset—Voice,is annotated manually as well as with the proposed technique.Cohen’s Kappa statistics is used to evaluate the degree of agreement between the two annotations.The high Kappa value(i.e.,0.9571%)shows the high level of agreement between the two.This validates that the quality of annotation of the proposed technique is as good as manual annotation even with far less computational cost.This research also contributes in consolidating the guidelines for the manual annotation process. | Muhammad Aasim Qureshi Muhammad Asif Mohd Fadzil Hassan Ghulam Mustafa Muhammad Khurram Ehsan Aasim Ali Unaza Sajid | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022，，3： | 0 |

| 19 | Role of Nd_2O_3 nanoparticles addition on microstructural and superconducting properties of YBa_2Cu_3O_(7–δ) ceramics显示文摘The effects of Nd_2O_3 nanoparticles addition on microstructure,transport and AC susceptibility properties of YBa_2Cu_3O_(7–δ)(Y123) superconductors were systematically investigated using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron micrograph(SEM),four point probe measurement and AC spectrometer.It was found that the added samples were predominant by Y-123 phase beside small amount of Y-211 and unreacted Nd_2O_3 secondary phases.All added samples preserved the orthorhombic structure similar to the pure sample and no orthorhombic-to-tetragonal transition occurred.The samples became more porous and their grain size significantly decreased with addition of Nd_2O_3.The addition of nano-Nd_2O_3 disturbed the grain growth of Y123,thus resulting in the degradation of superconducting properties of the samples.The superconducting transition temperature(Tc onset) of samples decreased from 92 K for x=0.0 to 78 K for x=1.0 wt.%,which could be attributable to oxygen vacancy disorder.From AC susceptibility result,the inter-and intra-granular loss peaks became wider and broader with increase of Nd_2O_3 addition due to the weakening of grains coupling.On the other hand,the inter-granular critical current density,Jcm,was found to increase with Nd_2O_3 addition and had the highest value at x=0.6,confirming that Nd_2O_3 nanoparticles acted as pinning centers in Y123 matrix. | Aima Ramli Abdul Halim Shaari Hussein Baqiah Chen Soo Kean Mohd Mustafa Awang Kechik Zainal Abidin Talib | 2016 | Journal of Rare Earths2016，34，9： | 0 |
