| 3 | Towards Machine Learning Based Intrusion Detection in IoT Networks显示文摘The Internet of Things(IoT)integrates billions of self-organized and heterogeneous smart nodes that communicate with each other without human intervention.In recent years,IoT based systems have been used in improving the experience in many applications including healthcare,agriculture,supply chain,education,transportation and traffic monitoring,utility services etc.However,node heterogeneity raised security concern which is one of the most complicated issues on the IoT.Implementing security measures,including encryption,access control,and authentication for the IoT devices are ineffective in achieving security.In this paper,we identified various types of IoT threats and shallow(such as decision tree(DT),random forest(RF),support vector machine(SVM))as well as deep machine learning(deep neural network(DNN),deep belief network(DBN),long short-term memory(LSTM),stacked LSTM,bidirectional LSTM(Bi-LSTM))based intrusion detection systems(IDS)in the IoT environment have been discussed.The performance of these models has been evaluated using five benchmark datasets such as NSL-KDD,IoTDevNet,DS2OS,IoTID20,and IoT Botnet dataset.The various performance metrics such as Accuracy,Precision,Recall,F1-score were used to evaluate the performance of shallow/deep machine learning based IDS.It has been found that deep machine learning IDS outperforms shallow machine learning in detecting IoT attacks. | Nahida Islam Fahiba Farhin Ishrat Sultana M.Shamim Kaiser Md.Sazzadur Rahman Mufti Mahmud A.S.M.Sanwar Hosen Gi Hwan Cho | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,11: | 1 |

| 5 | Preliminary phytochemical,acute oral toxicity and antihepatotoxic study of roots of Paeonia officinalis Linn.显示文摘Objective:To carry out a preliminary phytochemical,acute oral toxicity and antihepatotoxic study of the roots of Paeonia officinalis(P.officinalis)L.Methods:Preliminary phytochemical investigation was done as per standard procedures.Acute oral toxicity study was conducted as per OECD 425 guidelines.The antihepatotoxic activity of aqueous extract of root of P.officinalis was evaluated against carbon tetrachloride(CCl_4)induced hepatic damage in rats.Aqueous extract of P.officinalis at the dose levels of 100 and 200 mg/kg body weight was administered daily for 14 d in experimental animals.Liver injury was induced chemically,by CCl_4 administration(1 mL/kg i.p.).The hepatoprotective activity was assessed using various biochemical parameters like aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),serum alkaline phosphatase(SALP),total bilirubin and total protein(TP)along with histopathological studies.Result:Phytochemical screening revealed that the roots of P.officinalis contain alkaloids,tannins,saponins,glycosides,carbohydrates,flavonoids,terpenes,steroids and proteins.The aqueous extract did not cause any mortality up to 2000 mg/kg.In rats that had received the root extract at the dose of 100 and 200 mg/kg,the substantially elevated AST,ALT,SALP,total bilirubin levels were significantly lowered,respectively,in a dose dependent manner,along with CCl_4 while TP levels were elevated in these groups.Histopathology revealed regeneration of the livers in extract treated groups while Silymarin treated rats were almost normal.Conclusions:The aqueous extract of P.officinalis is safe and possesses antihepatotoxic potential. | Feroz Ahmad Nahida Tabassum | 2013 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2013,3,1: | 1 |
