| 1 | Deep Structural Framework and Genetic Analysis of Gold Concentration Areas in the Northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula, China: A New Understanding based on High-Resolution Reflective Seismic Survey显示文摘The gold concentration areas in the northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula constituted an important gold metallogenetic region in Eastern China during the Mesozoic. The deep geological bodies' texture characteristic is important for exploring the resources thoroughly and understanding the metallogenic process. The detailed textures were revealed using high-resolution seismic profiles through the three major ore-controlling structures-Sanshandao fault zone, Jiaojia fault zone and Zhaoping fault zone. This study aims to establish a deep structural framework of this area. Based on their formation mechanism, the fault structures developed in the area can be divided into regional and local fault structures. The structural styles are characterised by superimposing their compressional, strike-slip and extensional multi-stage activities. The crust is cut by vertical structures corresponding to a left-lateral strike-slip fault system on the surface. Nearby these structures are the arc-shape structures formed by multi-stage magma intrusions into the upper crust. Bounded by the Tancheng–Lujiang and Muping–Jimo fault zones, the current Jiaodong block, developed a series of NE-trending strike-slip fault systems, was probably formed by the assemblage of several obliquely aligned blocks. The intensive magmatism and hydrothermal activity between the blocks induced large-scale mineralisation. | 2 | Characteristics and genesis of microbial lumps in the Maozhuang Stage(Cambrian Series 2),Shandong Province,China显示文摘Microbial lumps have been found in the Maozhuang Stage(Cambrian Series 2) in the Liangcheng section,Shandong Province,China.Their macro-and micro-scale features distinguish them from other carbonate particles such as intraclasts and oncoids.Most lumps have a coarse sand to pebble size.They were mostly rounded during sedimentation or combined to form irregular shapes.A distinct boundary is present between the lumps and the surrounding cement of sparry calcite.The lumps contain either no core at all or several irregular 'cores',without a distinct inner texture.They are composed mainly of calcified(micritized) microbes,most likely cyanobacteria.The microbes drilled holes in carbonate grains,after which lumps formed by micritization,cementation,and agglutination by an extracellular polymeric substance(EPS) in a high-energy shallow-marine,subtidal environment.As the lumps are directly related to microbes,they should be considered as microbialites. | YANG RenChao FAN AiPing HAN ZuoZhen CHI NaiJie HAN Yu | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013，56，3： | 8 |

| 19 | Effects of rotational components of earthquake on seismic response of arch concrete dams显示文摘The present study deals with dynamic analysis of arch concrete dams,taking rotational components of earthquakes into account.A modified methodology was used to evaluate the rotational components of the earthquake.The translational components of the earthquake have been used in to obtain the rotational components of the earthquake,based on the intersecting isotropic elastic wave propagation.Two rotational components of Taft,Tabas and San-Fernando earthquakes are evaluated based on the translational components of the earthquakes and considering frequency dependencies of incident angle and wave velocity.Finally,dynamic analyses of Morrow Point Dam are presented to evaluate the effects of combined translational and rotational components on the seismic response of the dam.Various conditions of reservoirs,including full and empty state,are considered in the analyses.Fluid–structure interaction was completely taken into account.It was realized that incorporating rotational components increased the maximum compressive and tensile stresses in both empty and full reservoir analyses.Distribution of maximum tensile stresses is very sensitive to the rotational components of the earthquake.Also,it can be concluded that the segregated effect of the rocking component on the response of concrete dams is more effective than the sole effect of the torsional component. | Amir Javad Moradloo Abbas Naiji | 2020 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2020，19，2： | 0 |
| 20 | Multi-GPU Based Recurrent Neural Network Language Model Training显示文摘Recurrent neural network language models (RNNLMs) have been applied in a wide range of research fields, including nature language processing and speech recognition. One challenge in training RNNLMs is the heavy computational cost of the crucial back-propagation (BP) algorithm. This paper presents an effective approach to train recurrent neural network on multiple GPUs, where parallelized stochastic gradient descent (SGD) is applied.
