| 4 | Application and Mechanism of Aerobic Capacity显示文摘In recent years, researches in aerobic capacity and VO2max are very active, but a systematic study is lacking from the mechanism to the application. To several degrees and from different ways the physiological factors affecting the maximal aerobic capacity and the application of the maximal oxygen uptake in sports training were studied.The results. indicated that the value on treadmill was the largest,followed by bicycle ergometer test and then step test ;endurance training could improve the level of aerobic capacity, particularly ILAT and thb utilization ratio of maximal oxygen uptake. Nodifference existed in maximal oxygen uptake between the white, yellow and black race. In exhausting exercise, the mitochondria calcium cumulation inhibited the respiration of cells and deteriorated the aerobic capacity. So this study could provide scientific basis for sports training.Effects of exercise pattern on VO2max 59 normal male students wererandomly assigned to stationary treadmill,sitting bicycle ergometer,suping bicycle ergometer, bicycle ergometer with hands and step testof different altitude (22in. 15in. 12in). From the results, we foundthat the VO2max were different by using different work load,withsta tionary treadmill the highest, bicycle ergometer, the second, andthe step test the lowest. So we should consider the effects of different work load when testing VO2max.VO2max and individual ventilatory threshold study on different training level subjects. Ten master sportsmen, 10 first - level athletes, 10 second - levelathletes and 21 male students adopted bicycle ergometer which increased the work loads measuring VO2max and ILAT of the subjects. We found that the ventilation thresho1d, pulmonary ventilation and oxygen of heart rate in subjects of different levels were significantly different.Maximal aerobic capacity comparison among different racial male college students. Sixty-one male students of different races were chosen including the yellow (n= 21), the white (n= 20), the black n= 20). The results were:the absolute value of VO2max in the black was higher than that of the yellow. The difference of VO2max indifferent races was not significant,the relative value of VO2max could explain the question better.Effects of exercise - induced mitochondrion calcium accumulation on cell respirafory function Sixty -eight SD male rats were randomly assigned to control group (n= 12), exercise group (n= 36) and endurance group (n= 12).We found that the concentration of mitochondrion calcium after exercise changed significantly and the ATP production after exercise immediately decreased (p<0. 01). | 5 | Clark Phenomenon' of Physical Efficiency Sportsmen in Major Competitions显示文摘The term 'Clark Phenomenon' refers to unexpected failures of topranking ahletes in major competitions.Top athletes in the 21 - 24th Olympic Games and top six athletes in the 1- 6th National Games of the events of track and field, swimming and weightlifting weree investigated in this study. Statistic analysis of their achievements in major competitions showed that the 'Clark Phenomenon' appeared in about one third of these top athletes. The incidence of 'Clark Phenomenon' of the top six athletes was 0. 8%. Discussion was made on the causes that lead to serious 'Clark Phenomenon' of Chinese athletes in the Olympic Games. | 9 | Differential effect of ethanol intoxication on peripheral markers of cerebral injury in murine blunt traumatic brain injury显示文摘Background:Blood-based biomarkers have proven to be a reliable measure of the severity and outcome of traumatic brain injury(TBI)in both murine models and patients.In particular,neuronspecific enolase(NSE),neurofilament light(NFL)and S100 beta(S100B)have been investigated in the clinical setting post-injury.Ethanol intoxication(EI)remains a significant comorbidity in TBI,with 30–40%of patients having a positive blood alcohol concentration post-TBI.The effect of ethanol on blood-based biomarkers for the prognosis and diagnosis of TBI remains unclear.In this study,we investigated the effect of EI on NSE,NFL and S100B and their correlation with blood–brain barrier integrity in a murine model of TBI.Methods:We used ultra-sensitive single-molecule array technology and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay methods to measure NFL,NSE,S100B and claudin-5 concentrations in plasma 3 hours post-TBI.Results:We showed that NFL,NSE and S100B were increased at 3 hours post-TBI.Interestingly,ethanol blood concentrations showed an inverse correlation with NSE but not with NFL or S100B.Claudin-5 levels were increased post-injury but no difference was detected compared to ethanol pretreatment.The increase in claudin-5 post-TBI was correlated with NFL but not with NSE or S100B.Conclusions:Ethanol induces an effect on biomarker release in the bloodstream that is different from TBI not influenced by alcohol.This could be the basis of investigations into humans. | Zhenghui Li Jin Zhang Steffen Halbgebauer Akila Chandrasekar Rida Rehman Albert Ludolph Tobias Boeckers Markus Huber-Lang Markus Otto Francesco Roselli Florian olde Heuvel | 2021 | Burns & Trauma2021，9，1： | 0 |
