1深圳湾海域氮磷营养盐变化及富营养化特征显示文摘根据1986—2007年深圳湾海水水质监测资料,阐述了氮磷营养盐的变化趋势及其相互关系,并探讨了深圳湾海域富营养化程度。结果表明,深圳湾海域水体溶解态无机氮含量年际变化幅度较大,但总体呈上升趋势。氨氮是溶解态无机氮的主要组成形态,表明深圳湾无机氮处于热力学不平衡状态。深圳湾海域水体中活性磷酸盐值含量变化幅度比较小,总体呈下降趋势。深圳湾水体DIN/P值在1998年以前呈不断上升趋势,1998—2002年之间呈现波动变化,从2002年开始降低,营养盐含量和组成的改变导致浮游植物群落结构的改变,深圳湾海域发生的赤潮生物种类有从硅藻向甲藻过渡,然后从甲藻向硅藻过渡的趋势;相关分析表明,溶解态无机氮以及氮磷营养盐之间的相关关系显著(r=0.769,p<0.01),说明氮磷营养盐间有一定程度相似的生物地球化学过程;水体营养状态质量指数显示深圳湾海水富营养化程度很高,高度富营养化的水体使得深圳湾海域的赤潮日趋频繁,控制入湾水体污染刻不容缓。孙金水 WAI Onyx Wing-Hong 王伟 雷立 毛小苓 2010北京大学学报(自然科学版)2010,46,6:34
2深圳湾海域浮游植物的生态特征显示文摘根据香港环境保护署2006年1~12月份深圳湾浮游植物的监测数据,分析了深圳湾海域浮游植物的植物群落结构的时空变化特征及浮游植物多样性指数与环境因子的关系.结果表明,2006年在深圳湾海域共鉴定出浮游植物27属34种,主要类群是硅藻,占总种数的52.94%,其次是甲藻,占总种数的29.41%,其他藻类占总种数的17.65%.浮游植物细胞丰度的年波动范围在2.13×106~4.15×106cells/L之间,平均值为2.92×106cells/L,并且在秋季(10月)最高,春季(5月)次之,呈明显的双周期变化特征,平面分布表现为由海湾中部向湾口处递减的格局.浮游植物多样性指数和均匀度偏低,其中多样性指数变化范围在0.76~2.52之间,均匀度范围在0.29~0.74之间,反映出种类间个体数分布欠均匀,群落结构稳定性差,优势种优势度明显.研究海区物种丰度整体水平较低,浮游植物物种丰度指数变化范围在0.57~2.17之间,这与深圳湾海域水质污染严重而导致该海域生态环境恶化有一定关系.研究还表明,营养盐、盐度和溶解氧与浮游植物多样性指数之间呈现显著相关关系.孙金水 WAI Onyx Wing-Hong 戴纪翠 倪晋仁 2010环境科学2010,31,1:10
3Fine sediment carrying capacity of combined wave and current flows显示文摘The so-called fine sediment in many coastal areas and estuaries in China is mostly referred to the mixture of cohesive sediment and non-cohesive sediment. To predict the mixed type fine sediment transport, sediment carrying capacity formulae combined with the 2-D suspended sediment transport equation and morphologic equation have been widely used in China. In the present study, the sediment carrying capacity formula suggested by Dou et al. (1995) for wave conditions has been improved and implemented for the prediction of sediment transport in nearshore regions where wave activities are significant. The improvement is based on the wave energy dissipation principle inside and outside the surf zone. In the improved formula, sediment in suspension increases with the magnitude of the wave period and this feature complies with general observations. More than 300 laboratory and field measured data sets have been reviewed and 12 of them have been used to verify and determine the major coefficients in the improved formula. The application of the sediment carrying capacity model in combined wave and current situations shows that the model can faithfully reproduce the cross-shore sediment concentration distributions at the southwest coast of Bohai Bay.Qing-He ZHANG Bing YAN Onyx W. 5THREE-DIMENSIONAL NUMERICAL MODELINGOF COHESIVE SEDIMENT TRANSPORT BY TIDAL CURRENTIN PEARL RIVER ESTUARV显示文摘A three-dimensional numerical model of suspended sediment transport taking into account the effects of cohesiveness between sediments is presented. An efficient operator splitting scheme is employed to solve the equations of mass conservation, momentum and suspended sediment transport. The splitting method partitions a time step into three fractional time steps according to physical phenomena. In the first step, advection and Coriolis force are solved by Eulerian-Lagrangian method (ELM). Horizontal diffusion is approximated by implicit finite element method (FEM) for each horizontal layer in the second step. In the last step, vertical diffusion and pressure gradient are discretized by implicit finite difference method (FDM) for each nodal column. The continuity equation is solved by implicit FEM within an entire time step. The sigma coordinate system for vertical columns and nine-node isoparameteric finite elements for horizontal planes are employed in the model. Empirical functions specifically developed for cohesive sediments in China have been incorporated into the model. The model has been applied to investigate the suspended sediment concentration and seabed evolution in the Pearl River Estuary (PRE) in China. Computed results show that the distribution of sediment concentration and seabed evolution is in agreement with field measurements. In addition, the effect of the size of time step on result is discussed. 6Parallel hydrodynamic finite element model with an N-Best refining partition scheme显示文摘We enhance a robust parallel finite element model for coasts and estuaries cases with the use of N-Best refinement algorithms,in multilevel partitioning scheme.Graph partitioning is an important step to construct the parallel model,in which computation speed is a big concern.The partitioning strategy includes the division of the research domain into several semi-equal-sized sub-domains,minimizing the sum weight of edges between different sub-domains.Multilevel schemes for graph partitioning are divided into three phases:coarsening,partitioning,and uncoarsening.In the uncoarsening phase,many refinement algorithms have been proposed previously,such as KL,Greedy,and Boundary refinements.In this study,we propose an N-Best refinement algorithm and show its advantages in our case study of Xiamen Bay.Compared with original partitioning algorithm in previous models,the N-Best algorithm can speed up the computation by 1.9 times,and the simulation results are in a good match with the in-situ data.张振昌 洪华生 WAI Onyx Winghong 江毓武 周昌乐 2010Chinese Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2010,28,6:2
7FIELD INVESTIGATION INTO DEBRIS FLOW MECHANISM显示文摘Debris flow carries huge amount of sediment, from clay finer than 10-3 mm to huge stonesof several meters in diameter. Clay, sand, gravels and boulders move in different mechanisms.Field investigations performed by the authors reveal that there are two kinds of debris flowswith different mechanismst viscous debris now and two-phase debris flow. viscous debrisflow consists of more fine material and exhibits intermittent flow, paving way process, dragreduction and high superelevation. Drag reduction is caused by the paving way process andaeration of the flowing mixture. 20Vegetation dynamics of ephemeral and perennial streams in mountainous headwater catchments显示文摘Ephemeral and perennial streams of mountainous catchments in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka and Hong Kong of China were studied for two years on vegetation dynamics.Each year,sampling was conducted during a period when ephemeral streams had low surface flows.Sampling was realized contiguously using belt transects.The standing crop biomass(hereafter biomass)of herbaceous vegetation in ephemeral channels was comparatively lower than perennials and so was the herb diversity.Herb diversity showed a peak from 1.5 to 4.5 m from the centerline/thalweg of ephemeral and perennial streams.Out of 24 herbs,only three were common for both.A peak herb biomass zone was observed in perennials in the same region where diversity peaked.In ephemerals,herb biomass increased laterally up to^1.5 m,and was constant thereafter.Seedling experiment results tallied with the field diversity observations of both stream types,and suggested that seed dispersion was the main reason for herb colonization.Furthermore,it showed sapling emergence to be significantly higher in perennials than ephemerals.Return period of annual maximum monthly rainfall was a strong indicator of age of trees in ephemeral streams,and elucidated the possibility of hindcasting past flow episodes.Electrical conductivity was significantly high in ephemeral streams among all the water quality parameters.The contents of the water nutrients were approximately the same in both stream types.While recommending further studies on eco-hydrology of ephemerals,we recognize ephemeral streams to be valuable references in climate change studies due to their responsiveness and representativeness in long term hydrological changes.Pattiyage I.A.GOMES Onyx W.H.WAI Ganegoda K.DEHINI 2020Journal of Mountain Science2020,17,7:1
