1博茨瓦纳Sua盐湖地下卤水来源及成因显示文摘Sua盐湖是博茨瓦纳面积最大的盐湖之一,是南半球重要的天然碱资源.为进一步揭示该盐湖的成因,对盐湖区地下水、地表水以及晒盐场盐结晶进行了常规阴阳离子含量、D、18O和37Cl同位素组成及地下水14C年龄分析.水化学结果显示Sua盐湖的地下卤水具有富Na和K,贫Ca和Mg的特征.氢氧同位素关系和37Cl结果显示,附近河流地表水与Sua盐湖地下卤水具有密切的水力联系,而地下水对其补给作用较弱(37Cl差异为0.04‰~0.06‰).TDS-γNa/γCl关系揭示Sua盐湖地下卤水受到盐岩地层溶滤作用的影响(γNa/γCl≈1),而14C年龄(距今约2万年)表明古气候的波动变化是其重要影响因素.基于以上认识,运用PHREEQC软件对Sua盐湖地下卤水进行反向地球化学模拟,结果表明地表水的强烈蒸发浓缩以及附近地下水对盐岩地层的溶滤是控制Sua盐湖卤水形成的主要因素.单慧媚 马腾 谭婷 罗朝晖 祁志冲 翟明哲 Oteng M.Lekgowe 2013地球科学(中国地质大学学报)2013,38,3:6
2Phenformin alone or combined with gefitinib inhibits bladder cancer via AMPK and EGFR pathways显示文摘Background:In previous studies,we have shown that the combination of metformin and gefitinib inhibits the growth of bladder cancer cells.Here we examined whether the metformin analogue phenformin,either used alone or in combination with gefitinib,could inhibit growth of bladder cancer cells.Methods:The growth-inhibitory effects of phenformin and gefitinib were tested in one murine and two human bladder cancer cell lines using MTT and clonogenic assays.Effects on cell migration were assessed in a wound healing assay.Synergistic action between the two drugs was assessed using CompuSyn software.The potential involvement of AMPK and EGFR pathways in the effects of phenformin and gefitinib was explored using Western blotting.Results:In MTT and clonogenic assays,phenformin was>10-fold more potent than metformin in inhibiting bladder cancer cell growth.Phenformin also potently inhibited cell migration in wound healing assays,and promoted apop-tosis.AMPK signaling was activated;EGFR signaling was inhibited.Phenformin was synergistic with gefitinib,with the combination of drugs showing much stronger anticancer activity and apoptotic activation than phenformin alone.Conclusions:Phenformin shows potential as an effective drug against bladder cancer,either alone or in combination with gefitinib.Yanjun Huang Sichun Zhou Caimei He Jun Deng Ting Tao Qiongli Su Kwame Oteng Darko Mei Peng Xiaoping Yang 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:5
3Effects of elevated atmospheric CO2 and nitrogen fertilization on nitrogen cycling in experimental riparian wetlands显示文摘Studies on the relationship between plant nitrogen content and soil nitrogen reduction under elevated CO_2 conditions and with different nitrogen additions in wetland ecosystems are lacking. This study was meant to assess the effects of elevated CO_2 concentrations and inorganic nitrogen additions on soil and plant nitrogen cycling. A cultured riparian wetland, alligator weeds, and two duplicated open top chambers(OTCs) with ambient(380 mmol/mol) and elevated(700 mmol/mol) CO_2 concentrations at low(4 mg/L) and high(6 mg/L) nitrogen fertilization levels were used. The total plant biomass increased by 30.77% and 31.37% at low and high nitrogen fertilization levels, respectively, under elevated CO_2 conditions. Plant nitrogen content decreased by 6.54% and 8.86% at low and high nitrogen fertilization levels, respectively. The coefficient of determination(R^2) of soil nitrogen contents ranged from 0.81 to 0.96. Under elevated CO_2 conditions, plants utilized the assimilated inorganic nitrogen(from the soil) for growth and other internal physiological transformations, which might explain the reduction in plant nitrogen content. A reduction in soil dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN) under elevated CO_2 conditions might have also caused the reduction in plant nitrogen content. Reduced plant and soil nitrogen contents are to be expected due to the potential exhaustive use of inorganic nitrogen by soil microorganisms even before it can be made available to the soil and plants. The results from this study provide important information to help policy makers make informed decisions on sustainable management of wetlands. 5苯乙双胍单药或联合吉非替尼通过AMPK和EGFR通路抑制膀胱癌显示文摘背景与目的在前期研究中,我们发现二甲双胍和吉非替尼联合使用可抑制膀胱癌细胞生长。本文旨在研究二甲双胍类似物——苯乙双胍单药或联合吉非替尼能否抑制膀胱癌细胞生长。方法在1种鼠源和2种人源膀胱癌细胞系中,采用MTT和克隆形成实验检测苯乙双胍和吉非替尼对细胞生长的抑制作用。采用伤口愈合实验检测细胞迁移情况。使用CompuSyn软件评估2种药物之间的协同作用。采用蛋白免疫印迹实验分析苯乙双胍和吉非替尼对AMPK和EGFR通路的潜在作用。结果 MTT和克隆形成实验结果显示,苯乙双胍抑制膀胱癌细胞生长的作用是二甲双胍的10倍以上。伤口愈合实验结果显示,苯乙双胍可有效抑制细胞迁移,并促进凋亡。AMPK信号被激活,EGFR信号被抑制。苯乙双胍与吉非替尼可协同作用,二者联合使用比苯乙双胍单药表现出更强的抑癌活性和促凋亡活性。结论苯乙双胍单药或联合吉非替尼均可能成为治疗膀胱癌的有效药物。Yanjun Huang Sichun Zhou Caimei He Jun Deng Ting Tao Qiongli Su Kwame Oteng Darko Mei Peng Xiaoping Yang 2019癌症2019,38,5:1

18Barriers and Drivers of Sustainable Business Model Innovation:Present and Future Research Perspectiv显示文摘Sustainable business model innovation(SBMI)introduced a unique frontier in current business operations and innovation management.Despite the numerous advantages of SBMI to contemporary business strategy,most established firms face challenges in its successful implementation.Through a systematic review process(SRP),the paper attempted to critically evaluate and analyze the previous outcome on the barriers and drivers to SBMI.The research explored 42 prior studies to identify the thematic study areas,highlight the research gaps,and outline future propositions and agendas.The research thoroughly evaluates the state-of-the-art regarding barriers and drivers to implement SBMI.The SRP approach utilized in the study sheds light on the intricacies of SBMI by highlighting six critical barriers:institutional,organizational,strategic,resource allocation,technological,and financial barriers that hinder the successful deployment of SBMI.In addition,the study’s findings indicated that organizational learning,knowledge management,dynamic capabilities resource mobilization,innovative business activities,and human resource development could be a catalyst to the successful implementation of SBMI.Furthermore,the study highlighted some critical gaps and agendas for future research on SBMI.This study contributes to the literature on business model innovation and offers a practical outlook that can facilitate firms and policymakers in developing strategies to improve their business model.Agyemang Kwasi Sampene Fredrick Oteng Agyeman Fazeelat Aziz 2023Macro Management & Public Policies2023,5,1:0
