| 1 | Controller Parameter Tuning of Delta Robot Based on Servo Identification显示文摘High-speed pick-and-place parallel robot is a system where the inertia imposed on the motor shafts is real-time changing with the system configurations.High quality of computer control with proper controller parameters is conducive to overcoming this problem and has a significant effect on reducing the robot's tracking error.By taking Delta robot as an example,a method for parameter tuning of the fixed gain motion controller is presented.Having identifying the parameters of the servo system in the frequency domain by the sinusoidal excitation, the PD+feedforward control strategy is proposed to adapt to the varying inertia loads, allowing the controller parameters to be tuned by minimizing the mean square tracking error along a typical trajectory.A set of optimum parameters is obtained through computer simulations and the effectiveness of the proposed approach is validated by experiments on a real prototype machine.Let the traveling plate undergoes a specific trajectory and the results show that the tracking error can be reduced by at least 50%in comparison with the conventional auto-tuning and Z-N methods. The proposed approach is a whole workspace optimization and can be applied to the parameter tuning of fixed gain motion controllers. | ZHAO Qing WANG Panfeng MEI Jiangping | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2015,28,2: | 6 |
| 2 | Fine Mapping of RppP25, a Southern Rust Resistance Gene in Maize显示文摘Southern rust (Puccinia polysora Underw.) is a major disease that can cause severe yield losses in maize (Zea mays L.). In our previous study, a major gene RppP25 that confers resistance to southern rust was identified in inbred line P25. Here, we report the fine mapping and candidate gene analysis of RppP25 from the near-isogenic line F939, which harbors RppP25 in the genetic background of the susceptible inbred line F349. The inheritance of resistance to southern rust was investigated in the BC1F1 and BC3F1 populations, which were derived from a cross between F939 and F349 (as the recurrent parent). The 1:1 segregation ratio of resistance to susceptible plants in these two populations indicated that the resistance is controlled by a single dominant gene. Ten markers, including three simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers and seven insertion/deletion (InDel) markers, were developed in the RppP25 region. RppP25 was delimited to an interval between P091 and M271, with an estimated length of 40 kb based on the physical map of B73. In this region, a candidate gene was identified that was predicted to encode a putative nucleotide-binding site leucine-rich repeat (NBS-LRR) protein. Two co-segregated markers will aid in pyramiding diverse southern rust resistance alleles into elite materials, and thereby improve southern rust resistance worldwide. | Panfeng Zhao Guobin Zhang Xiaojun Wu Na Li Dianyi Shi Dengfeng Zhang Chunfang Ji Mingliang Xu Shoucai Wang | 2013 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2013,55,5: | 5 |

| 10 | High transcriptome plasticity drives phosphate starvation responses in tomato显示文摘Tomato is an important vegetable crop and fluctuating available soil phosphate(Pi)level elicits several morpho-physiological responses driven by underlying molecular responses. Therefore, understanding these molecular responses at the gene and isoform levels has become critical in the quest for developing crops with improved Pi use efficiency.A quantitative time-series RNA-seq analysis was performed to decipher the global transcriptomic changes that accompany Pi starvation in tomato.Apart from changes in the expression levels of genes, there were also alterations in the expression of alternatively-spliced transcripts.Physiological responses such as anthocyanin accumulation, reactive oxygen species generation and cell death are obvious 7 days after Pi deprivation accompanied with the maximum amount of transcriptional change in the genome making it an important stage for in-depth study while studying Pi stress responses(PSR).Our study demonstrates that transcriptomic changes under Pi deficiency are dynamic and complex in tomato.Overall, our study dwells on the dynamism of the transcriptome in eliciting a response to adapt to low Pi stress and lays it bare.Findings from this study will prove to be an invaluable resource for researchers using tomato as a model for understanding nutrient deficiency. | Viswanathan Satheesh Jieqiong Zhang Jinkai Li Qiuye You Panfeng Zhao Peng Wang Mingguang Lei | 2022 | Stress Biology2022,2,1: | 0 |
| 11 | Factors influencing volatile hydrocarbon pollution in urban areas显示文摘Volatile hydrocarbons in urban environments pose significant risks to human and ecosystem health, resulting from wash-off into receiving waters during storm events.Effective mitigation strategies require understanding of the significance of contributing factors to pollutant generation and their processes. This study employed Bayesian Network modelling to investigate how anthropogenic and environmental factors influence volatile hydrocarbons build-up.The volatile hydrocarbons investigated were, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene and styrene. Most volatile hydrocarbons showed statistically significant relationships with environmental factors rather than with anthropogenic factors.Additionally, the research study found that anthropogenic factors could largely contribute to releasing volatile hydrocarbon into the urban environment, while environmental factors are likely to determine their prevalence. The research outcomes will contribute to improving stormwater quality modelling approaches and strengthen the assessment of risk associated with stormwater pollutants in order to enhance stormwater reuse. | Buddhi Wijesiri An Liu Nian Hong Panfeng Zhu Bo Yang Xu Zhao Yuntao Guan Ashantha Goonetilleke | 2019 | Emerging Contaminants2019,5,1: | 0 |
