| 1 | Insights into mercury in glacier snow and its incorporation into meltwater runoff based on observations in the southern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau(TP) is recognized as 'Water Tower of Asia'. Yet our understanding of mechanisms influencing incorporation of mercury(Hg) into freshwater in mountain glaciers on the TP remains quite limited. Extensive sampling of environmental matrices(e.g., snow/ice)were conducted on the East Rongbuk glacier on Mt. Everest and Zhadang glacier on Mt.Nyainqentanglha for Hg speciation analysis. Speciated Hg behaved quite different during snowmelt: a preferential early release of DHg(dissolved Hg) was observed at the onset of snowmelt, whereas PHg(particulate-bound Hg) and THg(total Hg) become relatively enriched in snow and released later. Small fraction of Hg in snow was lost during a snowmelt day(18.9%–34.7%) with a large proportion(58.1%–87.3%) contributed by PHg decrease, indicating that the deposited Hg is most likely retained in glacier snow/ice. Furthermore, THg were positively correlated with PHg and crustal major ions(e.g., Ca^(2+), Mg^(2+)) during snowmelt, indicating that Hg is mainly migrated with particulates. The main pathway of Hg loss during snowmelt was most probably associated with release of PHg with meltwater, which was greatly influenced by ablation intensity of snow/ice. This should be paid particular concern as Hg preserved in mountain glaciers will mostly enter aquatic ecosystem as climate warms, impacting on downstream ecosystems adversely. Obvious decrease of THg during the downstream transport from glacier was observed with a large proportion contributed by PHg decrease. | 2 | A study of local amplification effect of soil layers on ground motion in the Kathmandu Valley using microtremor analysis显示文摘Past researchers have anticipated the occurrence of a great earthquake in the central Himalayas in the near future.This may cause serious damage in the Kathmandu Valley,which sits on an ancient lake bed zone,with lacustrine sediments of more than 500 m depth.In this study,the predominant frequency of ground motion is evaluated using the Horizontal-to-Vertical(H/V) spectral ratio technique and recordings of ambient noise.The results of the H/V ratio show two peaks in about 20 percent of the locations,which are distributed mainly in and around the center and northern part of the Kathmandu Valley.The predominant frequencies vary from 0.5 Hz to 8.9 Hz in the study area,whereas the second resonance frequency varies from 4 Hz to 6 Hz in the center and northern part of the valley.This indicates that the center and northern part of the valley have a wide range of resonance frequency due to two levels of impedance contrast one may be from the surface layer and the other may be from the layer underneath.These two levels of resonance indicate the importance of considering the effects of surface and lower layers during the planning and designing of infrastructures in the Kathmandu Valley. | Paudyal Y.R. | 3 | 赭曲霉毒素A和玉米赤霉烯酮二联定量胶体金免疫层析试纸条的制备及应用(英文)显示文摘目的:优化建立二联胶体金免疫层析试纸条,实现对玉米、面粉和饲料中赭曲霉毒素A和玉米赤霉烯酮的同时快速定量检测。创新点:采用纳米金颗粒标记真菌毒素单克隆抗体,基于竞争反应模式,通过对金颗粒尺寸、免疫层析相关组成材料及缓冲液配方的系列优化,同时借助手持式信号读取装备,实现对谷物和饲料中赭曲霉毒素A和玉米赤霉烯酮的同时定量检测。该方法简单、快速且成本低,与液相色谱串联质谱(LC-MS/MS)一致性良好,便于基层单位的推广使用。方法:采用柠檬酸钠还原法制备纳米金颗粒并标记获得金标抗体。通过在基于竞争反应的免疫层析检测体系中,同时设置两条检测线(T1、T2)以实现两种毒素的同时检测,最终采用金标信号读数仪实现定量检测。结论:制备的二联定量胶体金试纸条对赭曲霉毒素A和玉米赤霉烯酮的检测限分别为0.32和0.58 ng/ml(图5),在玉米、小麦和饲料样本中的加标回收率为77.3%~106.3%,且变异系数均小于15%(表2)。制备的二联定量胶体金免疫层析试纸条和LC-MS/MS对玉米、小麦和饲料等天然样本中赭曲霉毒素A和玉米赤霉烯酮的定量检测结果相关性较好(表3和图7),具有较好的应用价值。 | Xian ZHANG Ke HE Yun FANG Tong CAO Narayan PAUDYAL Xiao-feng ZHANG Hou-hui SONG Xiao-liang LI Wei-huan FANG | 2018 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2018,19,11: | 7 |
| 4 | Multimodality functional imaging using DW-MRI and 18F-FDG-PET/CT during radiation therapy for human papillomavirus negative head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: Meixoeiro Hospital of Vigo Experience显示文摘AIM To noninvasively investigate tumor cellularity measured using diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(DW-MRI) and glucose metabolism measured by 18 Flabeled fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography(18F-FDG-PET/CT) during radiation therapy(RT) for human papillomavirus negative(HPV-) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC).METHODS In this prospective study, 6 HPV- HNSCC patients underwent a total of 34 multimodality imaging examinations(DW-MRI at 1.5 T Philips MRI scanner [(n = 24) pre-, during-(2-3 wk), and post-treatment(Tx), and 18F-FDG PET/CT pre- and post-Tx(n = 10)]. All patients received RT. Monoexponential modeling of the DW-MRI data yielded the imaging metric apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) and the mean of standardized uptake value(SUV) was measured from 18F-FDG PET uptake. All patients had a clinical follow-up as the standard of care and survival status was documented at 1 year.RESULTS There was a strong negative correlation between the mean of pretreatment ADC(ρ =-0.67, P = 0.01) and the pretreatment 18F-FDG PET SUV. The percentage(%) change in delta(?) | 6 | 禽肉弯曲菌污染分析及冷藏条件下失活动力学特征显示文摘为了解空肠弯曲菌(Campylobacler jejuni) 和结肠弯曲菌(Campylobacler coli) 在浙江省肉鸡产业链中的污染状况,及其冷藏过程中的失活特征.研究采用多重P C R 方法对肉鸡养殖、屠宰和销售环节中分别采集的肛拭子、屠宰场环境和鸡肉等样品进行检测,平板计数法对人工污染鸡肉进行活菌数检测,用于失活特征分析.结果显示,采集的样品中,C.jejuni和C.coli的检出率分别为4 5 .3 % ( 1 8 2 / 4 0 2 )和4. 9 % ( 2 0 / 4 0 2 ) ; 其中,养殖环节中的检出率分别为81. 2% ( 6 5 / 8 0 ) 和0 , 屠宰环节中的检出率分别为30. 5% ( 4 8 / 1 5 7 ) 和5. 1%( 8 / 1 5 7 ) ,销售环节中的检出率分别为41.8%(69/165) 和7. 3% (12/165) .在6 ℃冷藏条件下,鸡肉中的C.jejuni和C.coli失活曲线具有相似的特征,在30 d 贮藏期内, lg r fu 分别下降了1.98和2.19 ;其中,0-14d 细菌数量下降速度较快, 14 - 30 d 细菌数量下降较为平缓.Log-logistic模型相比于W eibull模型对2 种细菌的失活曲线有较好的拟合性.上述研究表明,肉鸡养殖、屠宰和销售环节中均存在着一定程度的空肠弯曲菌和结肠弯曲菌污染,其中,销售环节中检出率髙于屠宰环节;在6℃冷藏条件下,Log-logistic方程作为2 种菌的一级预测生长模型具有较好的拟合性. | 刘玺 潘航 Narayan Paudyal 方维焕 李肖梁 | 2016 | 浙江农业学报2016,28,11: | 2 |

| 20 | Motive-based segmentation of international tourists at Gaurishankar Conservation Area,Nepal显示文摘Gaurishankar Conservation Area(GCA)is a recently established natural-based protected area in Nepal,which has witnessed an increase in international visitors.To optimize visitor experience,it is essential to examine motivations to visit along with visitors’characteristics and behavioral dispositions.The purpose of this study was to examine international tourists via a motive-based segmentation approach for GCA.In addition,the study also intended to identify visitor segments’profile characteristics such as socio-demographic,travel behaviors,satisfaction,loyalty intention,and their willingness to pay for higher entrance fees.Data(N=121)were collected among international tourists visiting GCA either as a primary destination or as a transit point.Results identified three distinct segments of visitors–‘local art and culture enthusiast’,‘escapist’,and‘nature adventurer.’Each cluster was different with regards to their sociodemographics,travelbehavior,satisfaction,willingness to revisit and recommend,and willingness to pay to support the environment and cultural resources,and local economy.The insights gained from motive-based segmentation can be beneficial to GCA to develop specific products and promotions and incorporate visitor monitoring&management programs. | Rojan BANIYA Brijesh THAPA Ramesh PAUDYAL Suman Shree NEUPANE | 2021 | Journal of Mountain Science2021,18,1: | 1 |
