| 2 | Mars Ion and Neutral Particle Analyzer (MINPA) for Chinese Mars Exploration Mission (Tianwen-1): Design and ground calibration显示文摘The main objective of the Mars Ion and Neutral Particle Analyzer(MINPA)aboard the Chinese Mars Exploration Mission(Tianwen-1)is to study the solar wind-Mars interaction by measuring the ions and energetic neutral atoms(ENAs)near Mars.The MINPA integrates ion and ENA measurements into one sensor head,sharing the same electronics box.The MINPA utilizes a standard toroidal top-hat electrostatic analyzer(ESA)followed by a time of flight(TOF)unit to provide measurement of ions with energies from 2.8 eV to 25.9 keV and ENAs from 50 eV to 3 keV with a base time resolution of 4 seconds.Highly polished silicon single crystal substrates with an Al2O3 film coating are used to ionize the ENAs into positive ions.These ions can then be analyzed by the ESA and TOF,to determine the energy and masses of the ENAs.The MINPA provides a 360°×90°field of view(FOV)with 22.5°×5.4°angular resolution for ion measurement,and a 360°×9.7°FOV with 22.5°×9.7°angular resolution for ENA measurement.The TOF unit combines a-15 kV acceleration high voltage with ultra-thin carbon foils to resolve H+,He2+,He+,O+,O2+and CO2+for ion measurement and to resolve H and O(≥16 amu group)for ENA measurement.Here we present the design principle and describe our ground calibration of the MINPA. | LingGao Kong AiBing Zhang Zhen Tian XiangZhi Zheng WenJing Wang Bin Liu Peter Wurz Daniele Piazza Adrian Etter Bin Su YaYa An JianJing Ding WenYa Li Yong Liu Lei Li YiRen Li Xu Tan YueQiang Sun | 2020 | Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,4: | 4 |
| 3 | Role of observation of live cases done by Japanese experts in the acquisition of ESD skills by a western endoscopist显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the role of observation of experts performing endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)in the acquisition of ESD skills.METHODS:This prospective study is documenting the learning curve of one Western endoscopist.The study consisted of three periods.In the first period(preobservation),the trainee performed ESDs in animal models in his home institution in the United States.The second period(observation)consisted of visit to Japan and observation of live ESD cases done by experts.The observation of cases occurred over a 5-wk period.During the third period(post-observation),the trainee performed ESD in animal models in a similar fashion as in the first period.Three animal models were used:live40-50 kg Yorkshire pig,explanted pig stomach model,and explanted pig rectum model.The outcomes from the ESDs done in the animal models before and after observation of live human cases(main study intervention)were compared.Statistical analysis of the data included:Fisher’s exact test to compare distributions of a categorical variable,Wilcoxon rank sum test to compare distributions of a continuous variable between the two groups(pre-observation and post-observation),and Kruskal-Wallis test to evaluate the impact of lesion location and type of model(ex-vivo vs live pig)on lesion removal time.RESULTS:The trainee performed 38 ESDs in animal model(29 pre-observation/9 post-observation).The removal times post-observation were significantly shorter than those pre-observation(32.7±15.0 min vs 63.5±9.8 min,P<0.001).To minimize the impact of improving physician skill,the 9 lesions post-observation were compared to the last 9 lesions pre-observation and the removal times remained significantly shorter(32.7±15.0 min vs 61.0±7.4 min,P=0.0011).Regression analysis showed that ESD observation significantly reduced removal time when controlling for the sequence of lesion removal(P=0.025).Furthermore,it was also noted a trend towards decrease in failure to remove lesions and decrease in complications after the period of observation.This study did not find a significant difference in the time needed to remove lesions in different animal models.This finding could have important implications in designing training programs due to the substantial difference in cost between live animal and explanted organ models.The main limitation of this study is that it reflects the experience of a single endoscopist.CONCLUSION:Observation of experts performing ESD over short period of time can significantly contribute to the acquisition of ESD skills. | Peter V Draganov Myron Chang Roxana M Coman Mihir S Wagh Qi An Takuji Gotoda | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,16: | 3 |
| 4 | A data-driven framework to predict the morphology of interfacial Cu6Sn5 IMC in SAC/Cu system during laser soldering显示文摘A data-driven approach combining together the experimental laser soldering,finite element analysis and machine learning,has been utilized to predict the morphology of interracial intermetallic compound(IMC) in Sn-xAg-yCu/Cu(SAC/Cu) system.Six types of SAC solders with varying weight proportion of Ag and Cu,have been processed with fiber laser at different magnitudes of power(30-50 W) and scan speed(10-240 mm/min),and the resultant IMC morphologies characterized through scanning electron microscope are categorized as prismatic and scalloped ones.For the different alloy composition and laser parameters,finite element method(FEM) is employed to compute the transient distribution of temperature at the interface of solder and substrates.The FEM-generated datasets are supplied to a neural network that predicts the IMC morphology through the quantified values of temperature dependent Jackson parameter(αJ).The numerical value of αJ predicted from neural network is validated with experimental IMC morphologies.The critical scan speed for the morphology transition between prismatic and scalloped IMC is estimated for each solder composition at a given power.Sn-0.7 Cu having the largest critical scan speed at 30 W and Sn-3.5 Ag alloy having the largest critical scan speed at input power values of 40 W and 50 W,thus possessing the greatest likelihood of forming prismatic interfacial IMC during laser soldering,can be inferred as most suitable SAC solders in applications exposed to shear loads. | Anil Kunwar Lili An Jiahui Liu Shengyan Shang Peter Raback Haitao Ma Xueguan Song | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,15: | 3 |

| 7 | Application of the health risk assessment of acetochlor in the development of water quality criteria显示文摘Acetochlor is a widely used herbicide in agricultural production. Studies have shown that acetochlor has obvious environmental hormone effects, and long-term exposure may pose a threat to human health. To quantify the hazards of acetochlor in drinking water, a health risk assessment of acetochlor was conducted in major cities of China based on the data of acetochlor residue concentrations in drinking water. The approach of the Species Sensitivity Distributions(SSD) method is used to extrapolate from animal testing data to reflect worst case human toxicity. Results show that hazard quotients related to acetochlor residues in drinking water for different age groups range from 1.94 × 10-4 to 6.13 × 10-4, so, there are no indication of human risk. Compared to the total estimated hazard quotient from oral intake of acetochlor, the chronic exposure imputed to acetochlor residues in drinking water in China accounts for 0.4%.
