1State-Based Offloading Model for Improving Response Rate of IoT Services显示文摘The Internet of Things(IoT)is a heterogeneous information sharing and access platform that provides services in a pervasive manner.Task and computation offloading in the IoT helps to improve the response rate and the availability of resources.Task offloading in a service-centric IoT environment mitigates the complexity in response delivery and request processing.In this paper,the state-based task offloading method(STOM)is introduced with a view to maximize the service response rate and reduce the response time of the varying request densities.The proposed method is designed using the Markov decision-making model to improve the rate of requests processed.By defining optimal states and filtering the actions based on the probability of response and request analysis,this method achieves less response time.Based on the defined states,request processing and resource allocations are performed to reduce the backlogs in handling multiple requests.The proposed method is verified for the response rate and time for the varying requests and processing servers through an experimental analysis.From the experimental analysis,the proposed method is found to improve response rate and reduce backlogs,response time,and offloading factor by 11.5%,20.19%,20.31%,and 8.85%,respectively.K.Sakthidasan Bhekisipho Twala S.Yuvaraj K.Vijayan S.Praveenkumar Prashant Mani C.Bharatiraja 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,6:0
2Worldwide trends in the scientific production of literature on traceability in food safety:A bibliometric analysis显示文摘Food traceability is an important aspect of the food safety supply chain to ensure efficient tracking of produce to check contamination and other foodborne diseases.The health and nutrition response after the Covid-19 pandemic requires a robust and diverse food supply chain in which traceability could play a major role.Since it is an emerging field of study with growing interest in the technological front,it is important to study the scientific trend and research activities.This study provides an important insight into the food safety value chain response towardsmodern food safetymanagement systems through scientometric analysis.Scopus databasewas used to retrieve the documents from the year 1992–2021.The research papers and conference paperswere only chosen.Vosviewer software was used to carry out the scientometric analysis.The distribution and growth trend of documents,country-level distribution of publications,the relationship between authors and co-authors,etc.,were analyzed.The intensity of publications from different countries and the collaborations was analyzed using bibliometrix R-package.The year-wise research publication showed a rapid increase in the researchers conducted on traceability systems to enhance food safety from 2014 onwards,mainly from the USA and China.However,the research appeared to be in the developing phase compared to other technology implementation and automation advancements.Aditya Sinha Prashant Priyadarshi Mani Bhushan Dharmendra Debbarma 2021Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture2021,,1:0
