2Electromagnetic-Thermo-Mechanical Coupling Behavior of Cu/Si Layered Thin Plate Under Pulsed Magnetic Field显示文摘Semiconductor-based electronic devices usually work under multiphysics fields rendering complex electromagnetic-thermo-mechanical coupling.In this work,we develop a penalty function method based on a finite element analysis to tackle this coupling behavior in a metal/semiconductor bilayer plate-the representative unit of semiconductor antenna,which receives strong and pulsed electromagnetic signals.Under these pulses,eddy current is generated,of which the magnitude varies remarkably from one plate to another due to the difference in electrical conductivity.In the concerned system,the metal layer generates much larger current,resulting in the large temperature rise and the nonnegligible Lorentz force,which could lead to delamination and failure of the semiconductor-based electronic device.This study provides theoretical guidance for the design and protection of semiconductor-based electronic devices in complex environments.Qicong Li Linli Zhu Haihui Ruan 2022Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2022,35,1:2
3SUBSPACE METHOD FOR BLIND IDENTIFICATION OF CDMA TIME-VARYING CHANNELS显示文摘A new blind method is proposed for identification of CDMA Time-Varying (TV)channels in this paper. By representing the TV channel's impulse responses in the delay-Doppler spread domain, the discrete-time canonical model of CDMA-TV systems is developed and a subspace method to identify blindly the Time-Invariant (TI) coordinates is proposed. Unlike existing basis expansion methods, this new algorithm does not require .estimation of the base frequencies, neither need the assumption of linearly varying delays across symbols. The algorithm offers definite explanation of the expansion coordinates. 4Study of adaptive modulation and LDPC coding in multicarrier systems显示文摘An adaptive modulation (AM) algorithm is proposed and the application of the adapting algorithm together with low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes in multicarrier systems is investigated. The AM algorithm is based on minimizing the average bit error rate (BER) of systems, the combination of AM algorithm and LDPC codes with different code rates (half and three-fourths) are studied. The proposed AM algorithm with that of Fischer et al is compared. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed AM algorithm is better than that of the Fischer's algorithm. The results also show that application of the proposed AM algorithm together with LDPC codes can greatly improve the performance of multicarrier systems. 5Dicer-independent snRNA/snoRNA-derived nuclear RNA 3 regulates tumor-associated macrophage function by epigenetically repressing inducible nitric oxide synthase transcription显示文摘Background:Small RNAs(sRNAs)extensively mediate gene-specific chromatin regulation in lower organisms.As a dominant type of functional sRNAs in mature mammals,microRNAs mainly regulate gene expression at posttranscription level in the cytoplasm.Currently,whether there exists a type of nuclear-localized sRNAs mediating gene-specific epigenetic regulation in mature mammalian cells remains largely unclear.Here,we profiled sRNAs enriched in the nucleus and investigated their function in mediating genespecific epigenetic regulation in anti-tumor immunity.Methods:We established cytoplasmic and nuclear transcriptomes of sRNAs of dendritic cells(DCs)using high-throughput sequencing.Transcription abundances of sRNAs and mRNAs were analyzed by reverse transcriptionquantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)assay.The associations between sRNAs and Argonaute(AGO)proteins were detected by RNA immunoprecipitation analysis.Synthesized sRNAs and locked nucleic acid(LNA)-modified sRNA inhibitors were used to screen the function of sRNAs in innate immune cells.The effect of sRNA on the enrichment of either chromatin remodeler or histone modification at the gene promoter was analyzed by chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP)-qPCR assay.Chromatin accessibility qPCR assay was used to detect the accessibility of gene promoters.A B16 melanomabearing mouse model was established to determine the function of sRNAs in tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs)and their effect on tumor growth.Results:We identified a new class of nucleus-localized sRNAs,named snRNA/snoRNA-derived nuclear RNAs(sdnRNAs).Some sdnRNAs were Dicerindependent and had no association with Argonaute proteins.sdnRNA-3,the most abundant Dicer-independent sdnRNAs identified in our analysis,was selected as a representative to examine the biological function of sdnRNAs.sdnRNA-3 selectively inhibited the transcription of Nos2 in macrophages during innate immune response by repressing the chromatin accessibility at Nos2 gene promoter.sdnRNA-3 promoted the enrichments of repressive chromatinremodeling regulator Mi-2βand the repressive histone modification H3K27me3 at Nos2 gene promoter.In the B16 melanoma mouse model,we found higher expression of sdnRNA-3 in M2 TAMs than M1 TAMs and DCs.Transfer of sdnRNA-3-silenced macrophages inhibited tumor growth with increased expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)in TAMs.Conclusions:Our results demonstrated that the sdnRNA-3 repressed the transcription of Nos2 by repressing chromatin accessibility at the promoter,providing new insights into the regulation of macrophage function in tumor immunity.Yang Shi Qingzhu Shi Qicong Shen Qian Zhang Xuetao Cao 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,2:2
6A Deep Learning Approach to Mesh Segmentation显示文摘In the shape analysis community,decomposing a 3D shape intomeaningful parts has become a topic of interest.3D model segmentation is largely used in tasks such as shape deformation,shape partial matching,skeleton extraction,shape correspondence,shape annotation and texture mapping.Numerous approaches have attempted to provide better segmentation solutions;however,the majority of the previous techniques used handcrafted features,which are usually focused on a particular attribute of 3Dobjects and so are difficult to generalize.In this paper,we propose a three-stage approach for using Multi-view recurrent neural network to automatically segment a 3D shape into visually meaningful sub-meshes.The first stage involves normalizing and scaling a 3D model to fit within the unit sphere and rendering the object into different views.Contrasting viewpoints,on the other hand,might not have been associated,and a 3D region could correlate into totally distinct outcomes depending on the viewpoint.To address this,we ran each view through(shared weights)CNN and Bolster block in order to create a probability boundary map.The Bolster block simulates the area relationships between different views,which helps to improve and refine the data.In stage two,the feature maps generated in the previous step are correlated using a Recurrent Neural network to obtain compatible fine detail responses for each view.Finally,a layer that is fully connected is used to return coherent edges,which are then back project to 3D objects to produce the final segmentation.Experiments on the Princeton Segmentation Benchmark dataset show that our proposed method is effective for mesh segmentation tasks.Abubakar Sulaiman Gezawa Qicong Wang Haruna Chiroma Yunqi Lei 2023Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,5:1

8CircRNA.0007127 triggers apoptosis through the miR-513a-5p/CASP8 axis in K-562 cells显示文摘Background:Circular RNAs(circR NAs)are covalently closed single-stranded RNAs with multiple biological functions.CircRNA.0007127 is derived from the carbon catabolite repression 4-negative on TATA-less(CCR4-NOT)complex subunit2(CNOT2),which was found to regulate tumor cell apoptosis through caspase pathway.Methods:Potential circR NA.0007127 target microRNAs(miRNAs)were analyzed by miRanda,TargetScan,and RNAhybrid software,and the miRNAs with binding sites for apoptosis-related genes were screened.The roles of circR NA.0007127 and its downstream target,microR NA(miR)-513a-5p,were validated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),flow cytometry,mitochondrial membrane potential,immunofluorescence,western blot,and caspase-8(CASP8)protein activity in vitro in HO-induced K-562 cells.The circRNA.0007127-miR-513a-5p and CASP8-miR-513a-5p interactions were verified by luciferase reporter assays.Results:Silencing circRNA.0007127 decreased cell apoptosis by inhibiting CASP8 pathway activation in K-562 cells.Compared with the control group,the expression of CASP8 was reduced by 50%and the 43-kD fragment of CASP8 protein was significantly reduced(P≤0.05).The luciferase reporting assay showed that circRNA.0007127 combined with miR-513a-5p or CASP8,with extremely significant differences(P≤0.001).The overexpression of miR-513a-5p inhibited the gene expression level of CASP8in a human myeloid leukemia cell model(75%change)and the level of a 43-kD fragment of CASP8 protein(P small-interfering RNA(siRNA)and the miR-≤0.01).The rescue experiment showed that cotransfection with circRNA.0007127513a-5p inhibitor increased CASP8 gene expression and the apoptosis rate,suggesting that the miR-513a-5p inhibitor is a circRNA.0007127siRNA antagonist.Conclusions:CircRNA.0007127 regulates K-562 cell apoptosis through the miR-513a-5p/CASP8 axis,which can serve as a novel powerful molecular target for K-562 cells.Xiajing LI Yiyu ZHANG Ning WANG Zhaohu YUAN Xiaojie CHEN Qicong CHEN Hui DENG Xinxin TONG Honglin CHEN Yuyou DUAN Yaming WEI 2022Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,9:1
9Effect of Stress-Dependent Thermal Conductivity on Thermo-Mechanical Coupling Behavior in GaN-Based Nanofilm Under Pulse Heat Source显示文摘The thermal properties of a nanostructured semiconductor are affected by multi-physical fields,such as stress and electromagnetic fields,causing changes in temperature and strain distributions.In this work,the influence of stress-dependent thermal conductivity on the heat transfer behavior of a GaN-based nanofilm is investigated.The finite element method is adopted to simulate the temperature distribution in a prestressed nanofilm under heat pulses.Numerical results demonstrate the effect of stress field on the thermal conductivity of GaN-based nanofilm,namely,the prestress and the thermal stress lead to a change in the heat transfer behavior in the nanofilm.Under the same heat source,the peak temperature of the film with stress-dependent thermal conductivity is significantly lower than that of the film with a constant thermal conductivity and the maximum temperature difference can reach 8.2 K.These results could be useful for designing GaN-based semiconductor devices with higher reliability under multi-physical fields.Qicong Li Xiaoya Tang Linli Zhu Haihui Ruan 2021Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2021,34,1:1

16Image completion algorithm based on texture synthesis显示文摘A new algorithm is proposed for completing the missing parts caused by the removal of foreground or background elements from an image of natural scenery in a visually plausible way. The major contributions of the proposed algorithm are: (1) for most natural images, there is a strong orientation of texture or color distribution. So a method is introduced to compute the main direction of the texture and complete the image by limiting the search to one direction to carry out image completion quite fast; (2) there exists a synthesis ordering for image completion. The searching order of the patches is defined to ensure the regions with more known information and the structures should be completed before filling in other regions; (3) to improve the visual effect of texture synthesis, an adaptive scheme is presented to determine the size of the template window for capturing the features of various scales. 17Effects of excessive nitrogen fertilizer and soil moisture deficiency on antioxidant enzyme system and osmotic adjustment in tomato seedlings显示文摘Long-term excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer induces secondary salinization of soil,which results in inhibiting plant growth.In addition,soil moisture deficiency also affects plant growth.To investigate the effects of excessive nitrogen fertilizer and soil moisture deficiency on the antioxidant enzyme system,plant water relations analyzed through pressure-volume(P-V)curve,and photosynthetic light response parameters in tomato(Solanum lycopersicum L.Myoko)seedlings,an indoor experiment of about 50 d was conducted using two irrigation water amounts based on field capacity(soil moisture deficiency:50%-80%;adequate water:70%-80%),two nitrogen fertilizer rates(moderate nitrogen;excessive nitrogen fertilizer:0.585 g/pot)and two types of irrigation water(tap water and microbial diluent).The results showed that excessive nitrogen fertilizer(N)and soil moisture deficiency(W)reduced the biomass of tomato seedlings.In comparison to CK(combination of adequate water and tap water quality),microbial dilution(EM)increased plant biomass by 5.2%.Also,the nitrogen application increased chlorophyll relative contents(SPAD).The maximum net photosynthetic rate(Pc)decreased with nitrogen application and increased with EM application and irrigation amount.Excessive nitrogen application increased the plant nitrate reductase activity(NR).The plant NR in the N treatment showed a 13.0%increase compared to CK,and the plant NR in the treatment of nitrogen application with water deficiency(WN)increased 34.0%compared to water deficiency(W).After applying excessive nitrogen,N,EM-N,WN,EM-WN respectively increased the plant nitrate reductase activity by 13.0%,22.9%,34.0%,and 28.6%,compared with the corresponding treatment with moderate nitrogen(i.e.,CK,EM,W and EM-W).In addition,the activities of antioxidant enzymes[superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD)and catalase(CAT)]in four treatments of nitrogen application(N,EM-N,WN,EM-WN)also increased significantly.Both soil moisture and nitrogen fertilizer significantly affect the parameters of osmotic adjustment,which is manifested in the reduction of osmotic potential(π_(FT)),and the increase in the osmotic concentration(C_(osm))and concentration difference(ΔC_(osm)).But the decrease in the relative water content of apoplast(ζ_(ap))indicated that water deficiency and excessive nitrogen reduced the water absorption and water retention capacity of tomatoes to a certain extent.In conclusion,excessive nitrogen application and soil moisture deficiency inhibit plant growth significantly in this experiment.Meanwhile,microbial dilution can alleviate excessive nitrogen fertilizer and water stress to some extent,but the effect was not significant.Yujie Zhang Shuangen Yu Zijia Li Tingting Chang Qicong Xu Huilian Xu Jie Zhang 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,2:1

19Osmotic adjustment and up-regulation expression of stress-responsive genes in tomato induced by soil salinity resulted from nitrate fertilization显示文摘Concerns about the soil salinity caused by excessive fertilization have prompted scientists to clarify the detailed mechanisms and find techniques to alleviate the damage caused by this kind of soil salinity.Aims of this study were to elucidate the effect of soil salinity caused by nitrate fertilization and the differences in salinity effect between nitrate salts and NaCl salt with analyses at various levels of crop physiology and molecular biology.A microbial inoculation was also tried to verify whether it could alleviate the salinity-induced loss and damages.In three experiments(Exp I,II and III),nitrate salts(NS)of Ca(NO_(3))_(2) and KNO_(3) were applied to potted tomato plants to simulate the soil salinity caused by fertilization and a microbial inoculant(MI)was applied.Photosynthesis was measured using Li-6400.Osmotic adjustment was analyzed using the mathematically modeled pressure-volume curve;O_(2)-concentration and activity of SOD and nitrate reductase were measured.Expression of nitrate reductase gene and the stress-responsive gene DREB2 was analyzed using the real-time PCR method.In Exp I and II,where the applied NS amount was moderate,NS application at low concentration induced increases in O_(2)-and MDA concentrations and plants acclimated to the soil salinity as the treatment prolonged for weeks.The acclimation was contributed by osmotic adjustment,activation of SOD and re-compartmentation of cell water between symplasm and apoplasm.These adjustments might be ultimately attributed to up-regulation of stress-responsive genes such as DREB2 as well as the nitrate reductase(NR)gene.However,in Exp III,applications of NaCl and NS at high concentration could not show positive effects as NS did.Application of MI synergistically increased the xerophytophysiological regulation caused by NS and alleviated the salinity damage in addition to its own positive effects on the tomato plants.Different from NaCl,nitrate salts at low application rate increased the total biomass and fruit yield of tomato and induced up-regulation expression of stress-responsive genes and the consequent active osmotic adjustment.However,nitrate application at high level negatively affected tomato plants irrespective of the gene up-regulations.Application of MI alleviated the salinity damage and synergistically increased the xerophytophysiological regulation caused by the soil salinity in addition to its positive effects on the tomato crop but the detailed mechanisms needed to be clarified in future further studies.Tingting Chang Yujie Zhang Huilian Xu Xiaohou Shao Qicong Xu Fenglan Li Lina Yu Zhanyu Zhang 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,3:1
