Selective catalytic methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gases over Ni/ZrO_2 catalyst显示文摘Ni/ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by the incipient-wetness impregnation method and were investigated in activity and selectivity for the selective catalytic methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gases with more than 20 vol% CO2. The result showed that Ni loadings significantly influenced the performance of Ni/ZrO2 catalyst. The 1.6 wt% Ni loading catalyst exhibited the highest catalytic activity among all the catalysts in the selective methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gas. The outlet concentration of CO was less than 20 ppm with the hydrogen consumption below 7%, at a gas-hourly-space velocity as high as 10000 h-1 and a temperature range of 260 °C to 280 °C. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and temperature programmed reduction (TPR) measurements showed that NiO was dispersed thoroughly on the surface of ZrO2 support if Ni loading was under 1.6 wt%. When Ni loading was increased to 3 wt% or above, the free bulk NiO species began to assemble, which was not favorable to increase the selectivity of the catalyst.Qihai Liu Xinfa Dong Xinman Mo Weiming Lin 2008Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2008,17,3:22
Review on the NO removal from flue gas by oxidation methods显示文摘Due to the increasingly strict emission standards of NOx on various industries, many traditional flue gas treatment methods have been gradually improved.Except for selective catalytic reduction(SCR)and selective non-catalytic reduction(SNCR)methods to remove NOx from flue gas, theoxidation method is paying more attention to NOx removal now because of the potential to simultaneously remove multiple pollutants from flue gas. This paper summarizes the efficiency, reaction conditions, effect factors, and reaction mechanism of NO oxidation from the aspects of liquid-phase oxidation,gas-phase oxidation, plasma technology, and catalytic oxidation. The effects of free radicals and active components of catalysts on NO oxidation and the combination of various oxidation methods are discussed in detail. The advantages and disadvantages of different oxidation methods are summarized, and the suggestions for future research on NO oxidation are put forward at the end.The review on the NO removal by oxidation methods can provide new ideas for future studies on the NO removal from flue gas.Meng Si Boxiong Shen George Adwek Lifu Xiong Lijun Liu Peng Yuan Hongpei Gao Cai Liang Qihai Guo 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3:8
Synthesis of pennogenin utilizing the intact skeleton of diosgenin显示文摘The first synthesis of pennogenin, an aglycone of bioactive components of Chinese traditional medicine named Chonglou(Paris), starting from diosgenin, has been reported, which displays a new strategy of utilizing the resource compounds. According to this new strategy, the full and rational utilization of the intact skeleton and functional groups of starting material has been realized in the conversion of diosgenin to pennogenin. The key step for synthesis of pen-nogenin is the regioselective transformation of cholest-5-en-16,22-dion-3,26-diol to cholest- 5,16-dien-22-on-3,26-diol, which can be used to synthesize other bioactive steroids such as cephalostatin and OSW-1.TIAN Weisheng XU Qihai CHEN Ling ZHAO Chunfeng 2004Science China Chemistry2004,47,2:7
Selective CO methanation over amorphous Ni-Ru-B/ZrO_2 catalyst for hydrogen-rich gas purification显示文摘Amorphous Ni-Ru-B/ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by chemical reduction method. The effects of Ni-Ru-B loading and Ru/Ni mole ratio on the catalytic performance for selective CO methanation from reformed fuel were studied, and the catalysts were characterized by BET, ICP, XRD and TPD. The results showed that Ru strongly affected the catalytic activity and selectivity by increasing the thermal stability of amorphous structure, promoting the dispersion of the catalyst particle, and intensifying the CO adsorption. For the catalysts with Ru/Ni mole ratio under 0.15, the CO methanation conversion and selectivity increased significantly with the increasing Ru/Ni mole ratio. Among all the catalysts investigated, the 30 wt% Ni-Ru-B loading amorphous Ni61Ru9B30/ZrO2 catalyst with 0.15 Ru/Ni mole ratio presented the best catalytic performance, over which higher than 99.9%of CO conversion was obtained in the temperature range of 230℃~250℃,and the CO2 conversion was kept under the level of 0.9%.Qihai Liu Zili Liu LieWen Liao Xinfa Dong 2010Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2010,19,5:5
Crucial control on magmatic-hydrothermal Sn deposit in the Tengchong block,SW China:Evidence from magma differentiation and zircon geochemistry显示文摘Magmatic-hydrothermal Sn deposits are commonly associated with high silica magmas, but why most global high silica granites do not bear economic Sn ore grades remains unclear. Two crucial factors controlling magmatic-hydrothermal Sn mineralization, including advanced fractionation and depressurization-induced rapid cooling, were revealed in the case study of the Guyong granitic pluton linked with the Xiaolonghe Sn deposit,in the Tengchong block,SW China. The Guyong granitic pluton comprises three petrological facies:less evolved biotite syenogranite, evolved alkali granite and leucogranite, and highly evolved facies(the protolith of greisenized granite).Similar crystallization ages(~77 Ma)and gradual contact between different petrological facies indicate the Guyong granitic pluton records a continuous fractionation process.Monte Carlo-revised Rayleigh fractionation model suggests the fractionation degree of the Guyong pluton is markedly high(>87 wt.%)that can only be achieved by a high initial water(≥4 wt.%)content in the parent granitic magma revealed by rhyolite-MELTS calculation.Advanced degree fractionation causes the first Sn enrichment but it also significantly increases the viscosity of evolved magmas, suppressing the exsolution and transport of hydrothermal fluids.Hence,it must be compensated by the second critical factor:depressurization-induced rapid cooling, reflected by the occurrence of highly metamict zircons in the greisenized granite. The highly metamict feature, indicated by the large full width at half maximum(FWHM)values of zirconν3(SiO_(4)) peak(>19.5 cm^(-1)),suggests these zircons do not experience thermal annealing but rapidly ascend into a shallow cooling environment.Depressurization-induced rapid cooling facilitates exsolution and transport of hydrothermal fluids, interacting with wall rocks and resulting in Sn mineralization.Qiwei Zhang Qingfei Wang Gongjian Li Xiang Sun Qihai Shu Jun Deng 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,4:4

Removal of CO from reformed fuels by selective methanation over Ni-B-Zr-O_δ catalysts显示文摘The Ni-B-Oδ and Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts were prepared by the method of chemical reduction, and the deep removal of CO by selective methanation from the reformed fuels was performed over the as-prepared catalysts. The results showed that zirconium strongly influenced the activity and selectivity of the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts. Over the Ni-B-Oδ catalyst, the highest CO conversion obtained was only 24.32% under the experimental conditions studied. However, over the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts, the CO methanation conversion was higher than 90% when the temperature was increased to 220℃. Additionally, it was found that the Ni/B mole ratio also affected the performance of the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts. With the increase of the Ni/B mole ratio from 1.8 to 2.2, the CO methanation activity of the catalyst was improved. But when the Ni/B mole ratio was higher than 2.2, the performance of the catalyst for CO selective methanation decreased instead. Among all the catalysts, the Ni29B13Zr58Oδ catalyst investigated here exhibited the highest catalytic performance for the CO selective methanation, which was capable of reducing the CO outlet concentration to less than 40 ppm from the feed gases stream in the temperature range of 230-250℃, while the CO2 conversion was kept below 8% all along. Characterization of the Ni-B-Oδ and Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts was provided by XRD, SEM, DSC, and XPS.Qihai Liu Xinfa Dong Yibing Song Weiming Lin 2009Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2009,18,2:3

Characteristics of night-time sleeping places selected by golden monkeys(Rhinopithecus bieti)in the Samage Forest,Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve,China显示文摘We examined the criteria for sleeping place selection in a social band of Rhinopithecus bieti(black-and-white snubnosed or golden monkeys)living in the mountainous Samage Forest,Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve,Yunnan,China. We performed principal component analysis and found that slope aspect, tree height and trunk diameter were likely key variables influencing selection of sleeping places.Sleeping sites were preferentially located in mixed deciduous/conifer forest. The monkeys slept exclusively in evergreen trees,of which 82%were conifers(mostly Picea likiangensis and Tsuga dumosa)and 18%evergreen oaks(Cyclobalanopsis oxyodon and Quercus spp.).Sleeping trees were tall(mean 30.5 m),had high boles(mean 18.4 m),large diameters(mean 62.6 cm)and large crown areas(mean 57.9 m^(2)).A comparative analysis of phytological and architectural features between trees in“sleeping site plots”(n=18)and trees in“non-sleeping-site plots”(n=66)revealed that diameter, crown surface area and tree height were significantly(P<0.01)larger in the former compared with the latter. All investigated roosting sites were situated on steep mountain slopes.Valleys and mountain ridges were avoided. We also detected re-use of roosting sites on several occasions, but not on consecutive nights. It is most likely that a mix of factors(stability of trees, access to food, unit cohesion, monitoring potential)explains the pattern of sleeping site preference, but predation at night seems to be only slightly important.Climate appears to have a profound influence on patterns of sleeping site selection in the monkeys’harsh temperate habitat. This is demonstrated by the monkeys’preference for mixed forest at medium elevations over montane fir forest at high elevations and slopes instead of ridges, with reduced exposure to wind and precipitation inherent in the former. We also emphasize the possibly substantial role that non-environmental factors(the nature of social organization and socio-behavioral strategies)play in determining sleeping site use in R.bieti and other primates.Dayong LI Cyril C.GRUETER Baoping REN Qihai ZHOU Ming LI Zhengsong PENG Fuwen WEI 2006Integrative Zoology2006,1,4:2
Studying the stability of the middle atmosphere (30―60km) over Wuhan by Rayleigh lidar显示文摘The stability of the middle atmosphere ranging from 30 km to 60 km over Wuhan is elementarily studied, according to the observational data obtained in about one year through the WIPM Rayleigh lidar. The stability parameter (buoyancy frequency squared), which was obtained through the temperature field, shows that the middle atmosphere over Wuhan is stable all the year round, but the sta- bility appears variable because the stability of sum- mer and winter is lower, and that of spring and au- tumn is higher.CHANG Qihai YANG Guotao SONG Juan GONG Shunsheng 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,21:2
Hydrogen production by glycerol reforming in supercritical water over Ni/MgO-ZrO_2 catalyst显示文摘Nano ZrO2 and MgO-ZrO2 were prepared by a self-assembly route and were employed as the support for Ni catalysts used in hydrogen production from glycerol reforming in supercritical water (SCW). The reforming experiments were conducted in a tubular fixed-bed flow reactor over a temperature range of 600-800℃. The influences of process variables such as temperature, contact time, and water to glycerol ratio on hydrogen yield were investigated and the catalysts were charactered by ICP, BET, XRD and SEM. The results showed that high hydrogen yield was obtained from glycerol by reforming in supercritical water over the Ni/MgO-ZrO2 catalysts in a short contact time. The MgO in the catalyst showed significant promotion effect for hydrogen production likely due to the formation of the alkaline active site. Even when the glycerol feed concentration was up to 45 wt%, glycerol was completely gasified and transfered to the gas products containing hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane along with small amounts of carbon monoxide. At a diluted feed concentration of 5 wt%, near theoretical yield of 7 mole of H2/mol of glycerol could be obtained.Qihai Liu Liewen Liao Zili Liu Xinfa Dong 2013Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,4:2
Habitat use and locomotion of the François’langur(Trachypithecus francoisi)in limestone habitats of Nonggang,China显示文摘We collected data on habitat use and locomotion of the François’langur(Trachypithecus francoisi)between August 2003 and July 2004 at Nonggang Nature Reserve,China.A total of 739 h of behavioral data were collected during this study. We tested 2 predictions:(1)that the langurs may have special patterns of habitat use and locomotion adaptive to the limestone habitat,and(2)the langurs may exhibit different patterns of habitat use and locomotion among different zones of limestone hill. Our results indicated that François’langurs spent more time in the low-risk,relatively food-poor cliff-hilltop areas. When young leaves and fruit were scarce in the dry season, the langurs increased their time in the high-risk,food-rich valley basin.François’langurs were semi-terrestrial,and leaping and climbing were their main locomotor modes. These behavioral patterns are considered to be related to characteristics of topography and vegetation in limestone habitat, such as large areas of cliff and discontinuous canopy. Our results also supported Prediction 2.The langurs confined locomotion to the main canopy and frequently adopted leaping while traveling in the hillside and valley basin. While traveling in cliff-hilltop areas, they tended to stay in the lower stratus(≤5 m)or move on the ground, and walking and climbing were their dominant traveling modes.Qihai ZHOU Bang LUO Fuwen WEI Chengming HUANG 2013Integrative Zoology2013,8,4:2
Ranging behavior of the François’langur(Trachypithecus francoisi)in limestone habitats of Nonggang,China显示文摘Ranging behavior is an important aspect of animal behavior that researchers use to investigate ecological influences on individual behavior. We collected data on the ranging behavior of one group of François’langurs(Trachypithecus francoisi)between August 2003 and July 2004 in a limestone habitat within Nonggang Nature Reserve,China. We evaluated the influences of food availability, water resources and sleeping sites on ranging behavior.During the study period, the total home range size for the study group was 64.5 or(69.3 ha if the lacunae within the borders in which langurs were not observed were included),and the mean daily path length was 541 m.These are well within the range of variation reported in Trachypithecus species. The monthly range size was between 9.8 and 23.3 ha,and monthly range size correlated negatively with young leaf availability. The langurs tended to use a larger range size during young leaf-lean periods. The langurs did not use their home range uniformly, and 74%of their activities occurred within 35%of their home range. The most heavily used quadrats in the home range were located near the most frequently used sleeping sites, suggesting that sleeping sites have a significant influence on the ranging behavior of François’langurs in limestone habitats.Qihai ZHOU Chengming HUANG Ming LI Fuwen WEI 2011Integrative Zoology2011,6,2:2

Lithocarpus polystachyus(Sweet Tea)water extract promotes human hepatocytes HL7702 proliferation through activation of HGF/AKT/ERK signaling pathway显示文摘Objective:Sweet Tea(ST),derived from the leaves of Lithocarpus polystachyus,is a Chinese folk medicine with wide pharmacological activities. However, the promotive effects of ST water extract on hepatocytes proliferation and its underlying mechanism remains still unknown. In the present study, the beneficial effects of ST water extract on human hepatocytes and its possible mechanism were investigated. Methods:MTT assay was used to detect the safety range of ST;HL7702 cells were divided into four groups:control group,ST low-(50μg/m L),medium-(200μg/m L)and high-concentration(800μg/m L)groups;Brd U ELISA and EDU staining were used to observe DNA content and cell proliferation; Moreover, flow cytometry was applied to analyze the distribution of cell cycle.Furthermore, the expression of cyclin D1,CDK4,HGF/c-Met,Akt,Erk1/2 were detected by Western blot. Results:It was found that ST water extract concentration-dependent promoted human hepatocytes HL7702 cell proliferation within 72 h through accumulating the cells in S phase and G2/M phase.Furthermore,ST water extract up-regulated expression of Cyclin D1 and CDK4 proteins. Moreover,ST water extract not only increased HGF expression and phosphorylation of c-Met level, but also activated the phosphorylation levels of AKT,ERK1/2.Interestingly,both of AKT inhibitor A6730 and ERK1/2 inhibitor U0126 reversed the promotive effects of ST water extract, which further confirmed that activation of AKT and ERK1/2 were involved. Conclusion:The findings reveal that ST water extract promoted HL7702 cells proliferation through the stimulation of cell cycle mediated by activating the AKT-and ERK1/2-related pathway.Ming Lei Nana Chen Yingshu Xu Qihai Gong Jianmei Gao 2022Chinese Herbal Medicines2022,14,4:1
