1Enhanced transdermal delivery of meloxicam by nanocrystals: Preparation, in vitro and in vivo evaluation显示文摘Meloxicam(MLX) is efficient in relieving pain and inflammatory symptoms, which, however, is limited by the poor solubility and gastrointestinal side effects. The objective of this study is to develop a nanocrystal formulation to enhance transdermal delivery of MLX. MLX nanocrystals were successfully prepared by the nanoprecipitation technique based on acidbase neutralization. With poloxamer 407 and Tween 80(80/20, w/w) as mixed stabilizers,MLX nanocrystals with particle size of 175 nm were obtained. The crystalline structure of MLX nanocrystals was confirmed by both differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray powder diffractometry. However, the nanoprecipitation process reduced the crystallinity of MLX.Nanocrystals increased both in vitro and in vivo transdermal permeation of MLX compared with the solution and suspension counterparts. Due to the enhanced apparent solubility and dissolution as well as the facilitated hair follicular penetration, nanocrystals present a high and prolonged plasma MLX concentration. And 2.58-and 4.4-fold increase in AUC0 →2 4 h was achieved by nanocrystals comparing with solution and suspension, respectively. 2Bioinformatic identification of microRNAs and their target genes from Solanum tuberosum expressed sequence tags显示文摘MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of non-coding RNAs that regulate gene post-transcriptional expres- sion in plants and animals. Low levels of some miRNAs and time- and tissue-specific expression pat- terns lead to the difficulty for experimental identification of miRNAs. Here we present a bioinformatic approach for expressed sequence tags (ESTs) prediction of novel miRNAs as well as their targets in Solanum tuberosum. We blasted the databases of S. tuberosum ESTs to search for potential miRNAs, using previously known miRNA sequences from Arabidopsis, rice and other plant species. By analyzing parameters of plant precursors, including secondary structure, stem length and conservation of miRNAs, and following a variety of filtering criteria, a total of 22 potential miRNAs were detected. Using the newly identified miRNA sequences, we were able to further blast the S. tuberosum mRNA database and detected 75 potential targets of miRNAs in S. tuberosum. 3Ferric ion-ascorbic acid complex catalyzed calcium peroxide for organic wastewater treatment:Optimized by response surface method显示文摘Hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))disproportionation,iron precipitation,and narrow pH range are the drawbacks of traditional Fenton process.To surmount these barriers,we proposed a ferric ion(Fe^(3+))-ascorbic acid(AA)complex catalyzed calcium peroxide(CaO_(2))Fenton-like system to remove organic dyes in water.This collaborative Fe^(3+)/AA/CaO_(2)system presented an obvious improvement in the methyl orange(MO)decolorization,and also effectively eliminated other dyes.Response surface method was employed to optimize the running parameters for this coupling process.Under the optimized arguments(2.76 mmol/L Fe^(3+),0.68 mmol/L AA,and 4 mmol/L CaO_(2)),the MO removal achieved 98.90%after 15 min at pH 6.50,which was close to the computed outcome of 99.30%.Furthermore,this Fenton-like system could perform well in a wide range of pH(3-11),and enhance the H_(2)O_(2)decomposition and Fe ions recycle.The scavenger experiment result indicated that hydroxyl radical,superoxide anion free radical,and singlet oxygen were acted on the dye elimination.Moreover,electron spin resonance analysis corroborated that the existences of these active species in the Fe^(3+)/AA/CaO_(2)system.This study could advance the development of Fenton-like technique in organic effluent disposal.Deling Yuan Chen Zhang Shoufeng Tang Zetao Wang Qina Sun Xiaoyu Zhang Tifeng Jiao Qingrui Zhang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11:2
4Selective adsorption of phosphate in water using lanthanum-based nanomaterials:A critical review显示文摘In recent years,lanthanum-based nanomaterials(La-NMs)are selected as an efficient nano-adsorbent for phosphate removal because La3+has a strong affinity with oxygen-donor atoms from phosphate.Additionally,there are a broad interest and literature base for the effect of different synthesis optimization and environmental parameters on the adsorption performance of La-NMs.A considerable amount of research has also investigated the regeneration and application of La-NMs to real wastewater in a laboratory scale.Based on the literature survey,it was found that La-NMs are often produced via co-precipitation and hydrothermal methods.Moreover,phosphate’s adsorption process and behavior onto La-NMs are described well with the pseudo-second-order model and Langmuir model.The interaction mechanism between phosphate and La-NMs are dominated by ligand exchange,surface complexation and electrostatic attraction.Furthermore,phosphate could easily desorb from La-NMs due to the weak H-bonding interaction between phosphate and the H-bond acceptor groups on the surface of La-NMs.Despite the wealth of literature available in this area,there is a lack of systematic review to evaluate the gaps in the use of La-NMs to eliminate phosphate in water.In this review,we mainly summarize and discuss the role and the effect of the synthesis techniques on the physicochemical properties and the adsorption behavior of La-NMs.The possible adsorption mechanism,regeneration efficiency,and the application of La-NMs to the real environmental samples are also presented and highlighted.Mamitiana Roger Razanajatovo Wenyan Gao Yaran Song Xuan Zhao Qina Sun Qingrui Zhang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,9:2
5Sufficient conditions for stability of linear time-delay systems with dependent delays显示文摘According to the delay property, linear time-delay(LTD) systems can be classified as LTD systems with dependent delays(LTD DD) and LTD systems with independent delays(LTD ID). This paper reveals that the stability condition for LTD ID systems can be applied to LTD DD systems, a sufficient stability condition for LTD DD systems is derived from it, while only fewer of the LTD DD systems can satisfy the stability condition due to the very strict limitation for the delays of the LTD DD systems. To solve the problem, based on two-dimensional(2-D) hybrid polynomials,some sufficient conditions for stability of LTD DD systems are proposed.
