Analysis of Fragrance Composition in Three Cultivars of Osmanthus fragrans Albus Group Flower by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry显示文摘With supercritical CO2 fluid extraction(SCFE), essential oil was extracted from three cultivars of Xianning osmanthus. The fresh osmanthus flower was processed with a petroleum ether digestion method to produce the extractum. The yields of essential oil and extractum were 0.19 % and 0.13 % (m/m) respectively. The essential oil and fragrance composition and content extracted were analyzed with gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC-MS). The result showed that essential oil contained 36.99%(area/total area) of ionone, ionol and 13.11% of linalool; ionone and ionol contained in extractum were as high as up to 33.33%, while linalool up to 21.92%. Whether essential oil or extractum contains only about 40% fat acid and other ester matters. None of environmental estrogen (phthalic ester) was found in fragrance ingredients. The result also showed that the quality of O. fragrans Albus group fragrance in Xianning is better than that produced in Hangzhou and Anhui districts. | LI Fafang HUANG Qizhi | 2011 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2011,16,4: | 11
Application of pressure relief and permeability increased by slotting a coal seam with a rotary type cutter working across rock layers显示文摘Pressure relief to increase permeability significantly improves gas extraction efficiency from coal seams. In this paper we report results from simulations using FLAC 3D code to analyze changes in coal displacement and stress after special drill slots were formed. We investigated the mechanism of pressure relief and permeability increase in a high-gas and low-permeability coal seam through the modeling of gas flow. This allows the development of the technology.Slotting across rock layers in the coal seam with a rotary type cutter was then applied in the field. The results show that pressure relief and permeability increases from slotting the coal seam can increase the transport and the fracture of the coal. This expands the range of pressure relief from the drilling and increases the exposed area of the seam. The total quantity of gas extracted from slotted bore holes was three times that seen with ordinary drilling. The concentration of gas extracted from the slotted drills was from two to three times that seen using ordinary drills. The gas flow was stable at 80%.Improved permeability and more efficient gas extraction are the result of the slotting. The roadway development rate is increased by 30-50% after gas drainage. This technology diminishes the lag between longwall production and roadway development and effectively prevents coal and gas outburst, which offers the prospect of broad application. | Shen Chunming Lin Baiquan Meng Fanwei Zhang Qizhi Zhai Cheng | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,4: | 10
Assessing environmental factors associated with regional schistosomiasis prevalence in Anhui Province,Peoples’Republic of China using a geographical detector method显示文摘Background:Schistosomiasis is a water-borne disease caused by trematode worms belonging to genus Schistosoma, which is prevalent most of the developing world.Transmission of the disease is usually associated with multiple biological characteristics and social factors but also factors can play a role.Few studies have assessed the exact and interactive influence of each factor promoting schistosomiasis transmission. Methods:We used a series of different detectors(i.e.,specific detector, risk detector, ecological detector and interaction detector)to evaluate separate and interactive effects of the environmental factors on schistosomiasis prevalence.Specifically,(i)specific detector quantifies the impact of a risk factor on an observed spatial disease pattern, which were ranked statistically by a value of Power of Determinate(PD)calculation;(ii)risk detector detects high risk areas of a disease on the condition that the study area is stratified by a potential risk factor;(iii)ecological detector explores whether a risk factor is more significant than another in controlling the spatial pattern of a disease;(iv)interaction detector probes whether two risk factors when taken together weaken or enhance one another,or whether they are independent in developing a disease.Infection data of schistosomiasis based on conventional surveys were obtained at the county level from the health authorities in Anhui Province,China and used in combination with information from Chinese weather stations and internationally available environmental data. Results:The specific detector identified various factors of potential importance as follows:Proximity to Yangtze River(0.322)>Land cover(0.285)>sunshine hours(0.256)>population density(0.109)>altitude(0.090)>the normalized different vegetation index(NDVI)(0.077)>land surface temperature at daytime(LST_(day))(0.007).The risk detector indicated that areas of schistosomiasis high risk were located within a buffer distance of 50 km from Yangtze River. The ecological detector disclosed that the factors investigated have significantly different effects. The interaction detector revealed that interaction between the factors enhanced their main effects in most cases. Conclusion:Proximity to Yangtze River had the strongest effect on schistosomiasis prevalence followed by land cover and sunshine hours, while the remaining factors had only weak influence.Interaction between factors played an even more important role in influencing schistosomiasis prevalence than each factor on its own.High risk regions influenced by strong interactions need to be targeted for disease control intervention. | Yi Hu Congcong Xia Shizhu Li Michael PWard Can Luo Fenghua Gao Qizhi Wang Shiqing Zhang Zhijie Zhang | 2017 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1: | 9
Technology and application of pressure relief and permeability increase by jointly drilling and slotting coal显示文摘Difficulties with soft coal seams having a high gas content and high stress levels can be addressed by a technology of pressure relief and permeability increase.Slotting the seam by auxiliary drilling with a water jet that breaks the coal and slots the coal seam during the process of retreat drilling achieves pressure relief and permeability increase.Improved efficiency of gas extraction from a field test, high gas coal seam was observed.Investigating the theory of pressure relief and permeability increase required analyzing the characteristics of the double power slotting process and the effects of coal pressure relief and permeability increase. The influence of confining pressure on coal physical properties was examined by using FLAC3D software code to simulate changes of coal stress within the tool destruction area. The double power joint drilling method was modeled.Field experiments were performed and the effects are analyzed. This research shows that there is an ''islanding effect'' in front of the joint double power drill and slotting equipment. The failure strength of the coal seam is substantially reduced within the tool destruction area.Drilling depths are increased by 72% and the diameter of the borehole is increased by 30%.The amount of powdered coal extracted from the drill head increases by 17 times when using the new method.A 30 day total flow measurement from the double power drilled and slotted bores showed that gas extraction increased by 1.3 times compared to the standard drilled bores.Gas concentrations increased from 30% to 60% and were more stable so the overall extraction efficiency increased by a factor of two times. | Lin Baiquan Zhang Jianguo Shen Chunming Zhang Qizhi Sun Chen | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,4: | 7
Induced drill-spray during hydraulic slotting of a coal seam and its influence on gas extraction显示文摘Hydraulic slotting can induce drill spray in a gassy, low permeability coal seam. This then influences subsequent gas extraction. This paper describes the drill spray phenomenon from a mechanical perspective and analyzes the effects of water jet damage during slotting.A simulation of the stresses around the drill hole and slot was prepared using FLAC-3D code.It helps explain the induction of drill spray during hydraulic slotting. The stress concentration around the bore increases as the diameter of the hole increases. As the hole enlarges the variation in stress also increases, which introduces an instability into the coal. This allows easy breaking and removal of the coal.Destruction of the coal structure by the water jet is the major factor causing drill spray.Energy stored as either strain or gas pressure is released by the water jet and this causes the coal to fracture and be expelled from the hole.Field tests showed the effect on gas extraction after slotting with drill spray. The concentration of gas increases after drilling.Compared to conventional techniques, the hydraulic slotted bore gives a gas concentration three times higher and has an effective range twice as far. This makes the gas extraction process more efficient and allows reduced construction effort. | Shen Chunming Lin Baiquan Zhang Qizhi Yang Wei Zhang Lianjun | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6: | 7

Failure Mechanism and Stability Analysis of an Active Landslide in the Xiangjiaba Reservoir Area,Southwest China显示文摘Dam construction for hydropower development is a very important subject all around the world, especially in developing countries due to energy crises. Filling of reservoir lakes may trigger or reactivate landslides in reservoir area. Active landslides in populated districts in the Xiangjiaba Reservoir area have become a striking problem for residents, local government and construction engineers. The key objective of this study is to analyze the role of reservoir filling and fluctuation in the activation/reactivation of the landslide as well as the mechanism of landslide from microstructures of pre-sheared slip surface. A large active landslide with a total volume of 1.25 Mm^3 at the left margin of Jinsha River in Pingshan County of Sichuan Province, Southwest China, was selected as a case study. Field investigation, field monitoring and laboratory tests were carried out to find out the failure mechanism and the stability of the active landslide. The shear strength test and stability analysis confirm that the water level fluctuations have an adverse effect on slope stability. It is obvious from microstructure analysis that the clay minerals contribute to down-slope movement at micro-scale as well as presence of expansive minerals(e.g., montmorillonite) decreases the strength of soil due to water level rise. | Javed Iqbal Fuchu Dai Min Hong Xinbin Tu Qizhi Xie | 2018 | Journal of Earth Science2018,29,3: | 4
Effect of activators on the properties of nickel coated diamond composite powders显示文摘Nickel coated diamond composite powders were fabricated via a newly developed direct electrodeposition technique. The effects of activators on the coating of diamond were firstly investigated and diamond grinding wheels were then prepared from Ni-coated diamond composite powders with different activators. The microstructural characterizations of this composite powders were finally conducted by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction, and the mechanical and tribological properties of as-prepared diamond grinding wheels were also measured. There are changes in microstructures and properties of the composite powders with activators. The activator concentration also has an influence on the morphologies and phase structures of the Ni coating on diamond particles. The composite powders with more compact coating of nickel can be prepared by adding 1 g dm^(-3) or more AgNO_3 as an activator to electrodeposit nickel on diamond. The mechanical and tribological properties of diamond grinding wheels were significantly improved when the coating phase structure of Ni crystal grew with(111) plane orientation on the surface of diamond particles. The wheels made from nickel coated diamond composite powders possessed the advantages of easy preparation and outstanding tribological properties. Therefore, Ni coated diamond composite powders exhibit a great potential to be extensively applied in diamond cutting and grinding tools. | Zongshi Zuo Bonian Hu Hong Chen Qizhi Dong Gang Yu | 2017 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2017,33,11: | 4
A HYDRO-MECHANICAL-CHEMICAL COUPLING MODEL FOR GEOMATERIAL WITH BOTH MECHANICAL AND CHEMICAL DAMAGES CONSIDERED显示文摘A general framework of hydro-mechanical-chemical coupling model is proposed for geomaterial subjected to the dual effects of mechanical loading and chemical degradation. Mechanical damage due to microcracks in solid matrix and chemical damage induced by the increase of porosity due to dissolution of matrix minerals as well as their interactions are considered. A special model is proposed for sandstone. The reaction rate is formulated within the framework of mineral reaction kinetics and can thus take into account different dissolution mechanisms of three main mineral compositions under different pH values. The increase of porosity is physically defined by the dissolution of mineral composition and the chemical damage is related to the increase of porosity. The mechanical behavior is characterized by unified plastic damage and viscoplastic damage modeling. The effective stress is used for describing the effect of pore pressure. The elastic parameters and plastic evolution as well as viscoplastic evolution are dependent on chemical damage. The advection, which is coupled with mechanical damage and chemical damage, is considered as the dominant mechanism of mass transfer. The application of model proposed is from decoupled experiments to fully coupled experiment. The model offers a convenient approach to describing the hydro-mechanical-chemical coupled behavior of geomaterial. | Dawei Hu Hui Zhou Qizhi Hu Jianfu Shao Xiating Feng Haibin Xiao | 2012 | Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2012,25,4: | 4

Micromechanics of rock damage: Advances in the quasi-brittle field显示文摘Constitutive models play an essential role in numerical modeling and simulation of nonlinear deformation, progressive damage and failure of rock-like materials and structures. Recent advances in the quasi-brittle field show that upscaling methods by homogenization have provided a new efficient way to derive macroscopic formulations of rocks from their microstructure information and local properties and then to model nonlinear mechanical behaviors identified at laboratory. This paper aims first at relating the mechanical phenomena on sample scale to their respective mechanisms on microscale. Main focus is put on unilateral effects due to crack's opening/closure transition, material anisotropy induced by crack growth in some preferred directions and multiphysical coupling at microcracks. After a brief introduction to the linear homogenization method and its application to crack problems, we present some recent advances achieved in the combined homogenization/thermodynamics framework, including anisotropic unilateral damage-friction coupling, theoretical failure prediction in conjunction with deformation analyses, poromechanical coupling, analytical solutions and numerical implementation with application to typical brittle rocks. | Qizhi Zhu Jianfu Shao | 2017 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2017,9,1: | 3
p190A inactivating mutations cause aberrant RhoA activation and promote malignant transformation via the Hippo-YAP pathway in endometrial cancer显示文摘The Rho family of GTPases is strictly regulated by a large family of GTPase-activating proteins(GAPs)that stimulate the relatively weak intrinsic GTP-hydrolyzing activity of Rho GTPases.p190A is a potent and widely expressed GAP that acts on RhoA GTPases.p190A is frequently mutated in endometrial cancer, but the contribution of p190A mutations to endometrial tumorigenesis remains unclear. Here we identified that p190A is an upstream regulator of the Hippo-YAP signaling pathway, which is a critical regulator of cell proliferation, apoptosis, and cell fate.p190A knockout in endometrial cancer cells promoted cell proliferation, migration, and epithelial–mesenchymal transition(EMT),which were partially dependent on YAP activation.Wild-type p190A,but not endometrial cancer-associated mutants, suppressed the nuclear localization, transcriptional activity, and malignant transformation function of YAP.Moreover, the nuclear localization of YAP was enhanced in p190A-mutated endometrial cancer. These findings reveal novel molecular mechanisms underlying Hippo-YAP pathway-driven endometrial tumorigenesis and elucidate the potential for therapy targeting the Hippo-YAP pathway in p190A-mutated endometrial cancer. | Xiaoli Wen Jing Wan Qizhi He Mengfei Wang Shuangdi Li Mei Jiang Zhen Qian Binya Liu Wen Lu Kai Wang Kun Gao Xiaoping Wan | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 3

Small interfering RNA delivery to the neurons near the amyloid plaques for improved treatment of Alzheimer’s disease显示文摘Gene therapy represents a promising treatment for the Alzheimer’s disease(AD). However, gene delivery specific to brain lesions through systemic administration remains big challenge. In our previous work, we have developed an siRNA nanocomplex able to be specifically delivered to the amyloid plaques through surface modification with both CGN peptide for the blood–brain barrier(BBB)penetration and QSH peptide for β-amyloid binding. But, whether the as-designed nanocomplex could indeed improve the gene accumulation in the impaired neuron cells and ameliorate AD-associated symptoms remains further study. Herein, we prepared the nanocomplexes with an siRNA against β-site amyloid precursor protein-cleaving enzyme 1(BACE1), the rate-limiting enzyme of Aβ production, as the therapeutic siRNA of AD. The nanocomplexes exhibited high distribution in the Aβ deposits-enriched hippocampus, especially in the neurons near the amyloid plaques after intravenous administration. In APP/PS1 transgenic mice, the nanocomplexes down-regulated BACE1 in both mRNA and protein levels,as well as Aβ and amyloid plaques to the level of wild-type mice. Moreover, the nanocomplexes significantly increased the level of synaptophysin and rescued memory loss of the AD transgenic mice without hematological or histological toxicity. Taken together, this work presented direct evidences that the design of precise gene delivery to the AD lesions markedly improves the therapeutic outcome. | Qian Guo Xiaoyao Zheng Peng Yang Xiaoying Pang Kang Qian Pengzhen Wang Shuting Xu Dongyu Sheng Liuchang Wang Jinxu Cao Wei Lu Qizhi Zhang Xinguo Jiang | 2019 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2019,9,3: | 2
Effects of electro-acupuncture on brain tissue norepinephrine contents in a morphine withdrawal anxiety mouse model显示文摘BACKGROUND: Following morphine withdrawal, anxiety is associated with abnormal norepinephrine content change. However, increasing blood lactic acid content can induce anxiety or panic in patients with anxiety disorder or endogenous opioid peptide functional disorder. OBJECTIVE: This study was designed to observe the effects of electro-acupuncture, at the 'Sanyinjiao' point (SP 6), on brain tissue norepinephrine and blood lactic acid content in anxiety-model mice after morphine withdrawal. DESIGN: A randomized controlled animal experiment. SETTING: This study was performed in the Laboratory of Acupuncture, Electro-acupuncture & Tuina College, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, from June to September 2001. MATERIALS: A total of 50 healthy Kunming male mice were provided by the Laboratory Animal Center of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The protocol was performed in accordance with ethical guidelines stated in the Guide for the use and care of laboratory animals, approved by the Committee on the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals of the Institute of Laboratory Animal Resources Commission on Life Sciences, National Research Council, China (1985). Experimental reagents and equipment used were as follows: morphine hydrochloride (Lot No. 930503, Shenyang No.1 Pharmaceutical Factory, China), norepinephrine (Sigma Chemical Company, USA), fluorospectrophotometer (RF-510, Shimadzu Corporation, Japan), Han electro-acupuncture apparatus (WQ 1002, No. zun (91)-227270-588, Beijing Anlong Photoelectricity-Technique Company, China), and T-maze (self-made). METHODS: A total of 50 mice were randomly divided into 5 groups, with 10 mice in each group: blank control, T-maze, model, model + electro-acupuncture, and electro-acupuncture groups. Establishment of anxiety model after morphine withdrawal: the mouse hot plate assay was used to detect the activity of morphine. The median effective dose of morphine, 2.95 mg/kg, was defined as the base. Mice were subcutaneously administered morphine, 3 times a day, for 4 days successively (initially 2.95 mg/kg, then increased day by day, as described below). Interventions: In the model + electro-acupuncture group, after model induction, mice were subjected electro-acupuncture at bilateral 'Sanyinjiao' (SP6) points using a Han electro-acupuncture apparatus with sparse-dense waves and frequency of 2-100 Hz, once a day, for 6 days. In the model group, after anxiety-model induction, mice were subjected to fixation as same as model + electro-acupuncture group within 6 days of model induction. In the electro-acupuncture group, the anxiety model was not induced and mice were subjected to fixation, electro-acupuncture and the T-maze test. In the T-maze group, the anxiety model was not induced and mice were subjected to fixation. The T-maze test was performed in the 4 groups after experiment. In the blank control group, the anxiety model was not induced and mice were subjected to fixation only. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Brain tissue norepinephrine content of morphine-withdrawal anxiety mice was detected by fluorospectrophotometry after 6 days of electro-acupuncture. Blood lactic acid content was detected by visible spectrophotometry. RESULTS: A total of 50 mice were included in the final analysis. Brain norepinephrine content was significantly greater in the model group compared to the T-maze, blank control, electro-acupuncture and model + electro-acupuncture groups, (P < 0.05-0.01). Brain norepinephrine content was similar between the model + electro-acupuncture and the blank control groups (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in blood lactic acid content among the groups (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Electro-acupuncture lowers brain norepinephrine content but does not influence peripheral blood lactic acid content in morphine-withdrawn, anxiety-modeled mice. These results demonstrate that anxiety-inhibiting effects of electro-acupuncture, after morphine withdrawal, might be related to regulation of norepinephrine release. | Qizhi Zhou Yuxing Liu Xuguang Liu Jiaolu Wei Yong Tang Junmei Wu Yi Pu | 2008 | Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,4: | 2

Myeloid-derived suppressor cells as immunosuppressive regulators and therapeutic targets in cancer显示文摘Myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)are a heterogenic population of immature myeloid cells with immunosuppressive effects, which undergo massive expansion during tumor progression. These cells not only support immune escape directly but also promote tumor invasion via various non-immunological activities.Besides, this group of cells are proved to impair the efficiency of current antitumor strategies such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy. Therefore,MDSCs are considered as potential therapeutic targets for cancer therapy.Treatment strategies targeting MDSCs have shown promising outcomes in both preclinical studies and clinical trials when administrated alone,or in combination with other anticancer therapies. In this review,we shed new light on recent advances in the biological characteristics and immunosuppressive functions of MDSCs.We also hope to propose an overview of current MDSCs-targeting therapies so as to provide new ideas for cancer treatment. | Kai Li Houhui Shi Benxia Zhang Xuejin Ou Qizhi Ma Yue Chen Pei Shu Dan Li Yongsheng Wang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,11: | 2
