| 1 | Symmetric-key cryptosystem with DNA technology显示文摘DNA cryptography is a new field which has emerged with progress in the research of DNA computing. In our study, a symmetric-key cryptosystem was designed by applying a modern DNA biotechnology, microarray, into cryptographic technologies. This is referred to as DNA symmetric-key cryptosystem (DNASC). In DNASC, both encryption and decryption keys are formed by DNA probes, while its ciphertext is embedded in a specially designed DNA chip (microarray). The security of this system is mainly rooted in difficult biology processes and problems, rather than conventional computing technology, thus it is unaffected by changes from the attack of the coming quantum computer. The encryption process is a fabrication of a specially designed DNA chip and the decryption process is the DNA hybridization. In DNASC, billions of DNA probes are hybridized and identified at the same time, thus the decryption process is conducted in a massive, parallel way. | 2 | CRYSTALLISATION KINETICS AND PHASE TRANSFORMATION BEHAVIOUR OF ELECTROLESS NICKEL-PHOSPHORUS DEPOSIT WITH 6-9wt% PHOSPHORUS CONTENT显示文摘Crystallisation kinetic and phase transformation behaviour of the electroless nickel-phosphorus deposit with 6-9wt% phosphorus content were studied. The deposit was heated in the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) apparatus to 300℃-800℃ at 20℃/min, followed by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The sequence of crystallisation process was: mixture of amorphous and microcrystalline nickel phases → intermediate metastable, f. c. c. nickel and stable N13P phases → f. c. c. nickel and stable Ni3P phases. Preferred orientation of nickel {200} plane was developed after the heating processes. Activation energy of crystallisation process was determined from the DSC analyses at 5-50℃/min. | 3 | LABORATORY MEASUREMENTS IN SINE-GENERATED MEANDERING CHANNELS显示文摘The patterns (In flow plan) of rough turbulent steady flows in sine-generated meandering streams are investigated experimentally. The flow cross-section is rectangular, the flow width is uniform, the channel bed is flat; the plan shape is sine-generated. In contrast to previous works, where the computed flow patterns were of the same character, irrespective of the sinuosity of the channel, it is found, on the basis of present experiments, that every different Plan geometry of a meandering flow has its own flow picture. In the case of 'small' sinuosity, the flow convectively accelerates at the inner bank between the crossover-and apexsections; if, however, the sinuosity is 'large', the now convectively decelerates in the same region. The convergence-divergence areas (in flow Plan) of the present flows are in coincidence with the location of erosion-deposition zones in meandering streams, confirming that the convective behaviour of the vertically-averaged flow alone is sufficient to induce the bed and bank deformation. | A. | 4 | RATIONAL BASIS FOR SUSPENDED SEDIMENT MODELING显示文摘This paper presents a rational basis to model the transport of suspended sediment. The looseboundary condition for 3D models and the adjustment coefficients for both the depth-integrated 2D and laterally integrated 1D models are treated comprehensively. A combination of Dirichlet and Neumann conditions is proposed as the loose-boundary condition. The adjustment coefficient for 2D models is obtained on the basis of the proposed boundary condition and analytical solutions developed for some simple cases of non-equilibrium transport of sediment in uniform flows. The adjustment coefficient for 1D models for natural rivers is further obtained from lateral integration.
