1社区老年人5年随访中痴呆等疾病的死亡率分析显示文摘为了分析痴呆致死亡的危险性并探讨其它疾病对寿命的影响,对3531名社区老年人(≥65岁)进行5年随访调查,其中的197例痴呆中Alzheimer病(AD)127例、血管性痴呆(VD)53例、其它痴呆(OD)17例。除统计死亡率外,采用Cox法予相对危险性(RR)及归因危险性(AR)分析。结果显示,痴呆的年死亡率达19.89%,其中AD、VD和OD分别为17.68%、25.70%及21.71%。按年龄分组计算,65~74岁组痴呆的RR值(AD5.35,VD7.19)接近恶性肿瘤(5.58);≥75岁组痴呆的RR值高于所有其它疾病,各种痴呆死亡归因危险性(AR合计值)高达23.71%。提示AD和VD均是导致死亡的恶性疾病,≥75岁者尤甚,亟待在社区防治中引起高度重视。朱紫青 张明园 R.Katzman R.Hill 1997中华精神科杂志1997,30,4:22

3Underlying solvent-based factors that influence permanent porosity in porous liquids显示文摘Porous liquids(PLs)offer the potential to combine the ready handling and mature industry status of liquid absorbents,with the high permanent porosity of metal organic frameworks.To be functional,these nanocomposites need to satisfy a number of performance parameters,such as stability and viscosity of the porogen-solvent combination,avoiding solvent penetration into metal organic framework(MOF)pores,suitable capacities,and kinetics for gas sorption.In this work,we systematically investigate the component materials to elucidate the parametric space where stable photoluminescence(PL)can be generated.In this situation,deeper conclusions were able to be drawn with regard to the influence of hydrophobicity/philicity on the properties of the resulting nanocomposites.Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs)were combined with a range of solvents varying in steric bulk,to deliver CO_(2)sorption capacities as high as 4.2 mmol·g^(-1)at 10 bar.These findings may have broader implications for future investigations of this tantalising field of nanocomposites.Hamidreza Mahdavi Huacheng Zhang Lauren K.Macreadie Cara M.Doherty Durga Acharya Stefan J.DSmith Xavier Mulet Matthew R.Hill 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1

6Group dynamics motivation to increase exercise intensity with a virtual partner显示文摘Background: The effect of the K?hler group dynamics paradigm(i.e., working together with a more capable partner where one's performance is indispensable to the team outcome) has been shown to increase motivation to exercise longer at a strength task in partnered exercise video games (exergames) using a software-generated partner(SGP). However, the effect on exercise intensity with an SGP has not been investigated. The purpose of this study was to examine the motivation to maintain or increase exercise intensity among healthy, physically active middle-aged adults using an SGP in an aerobic exergame.Methods: Participants(n = 85, mean age = 44.9 years) exercised with an SGP in a 6-day cycle ergometer protocol, randomly assigned to either(a)no partner control,(b) superior SGP who was not a teammate, or(c) superior SGP as a teammate(team score was dependent on the inferior member). The protocol alternated between 30-min continuous and 4-min interval lhigh-intensity session days, during which participants could change cycle power output(watts) from target intensity to alter distance and speed.Results: Mean change in watts from a targeted intensity(75% and 90% maximum heart rate) was the primary dependent variable reflecting motivational effort. Increases in performance over baseline were demonstrated without significant differences between conditions. Self-efficacy and enjoyment were significantly related to effort in the more intense interval sessions.Conclusion: Under these conditions, no K?hler effect was observed. 7Porous solid inspired hyper-crosslinked polymer liquids with highly efficient regeneration for gas purification显示文摘Separation media that combine the desired material properties within a single material for a given process remain an ongoing challenge for the gas separations in industry.Process integration of porous solid adsorbents is difficult due to their limited volumetric capacity,whereas issues of volatility and high regeneration temperatures exist for liquid amines and physical solvents.Herein,we report a family of polymer liquids inspired by hyper-crosslinked polymers(HCPs),a class of highly swellable network polymers.Compared with a chemically similar porous solid,the HCP-liquids demonstrate good volumetric capacity and improved selectivity of carbon dioxide over methane.Uptake appears to be enhanced by intramolecular swelling of the HCP-liquids at elevated pressures,while guests are strongly rejected from the HCP-liquids at slightly elevated temperatures,leading to highly efficient regeneration.Heat of adsorption and specific heat capacity of the HCP-liquids are also low,further suggesting favourable process thermodynamics.Additionally being easily prepared at scale,the presented HCP-liquids represent a promising step towards a material with the requisite properties to replace conventional scrubbing solvents to drastically reduce the footprint and energy needs of gas separations.Stefan J.D.Smith Colin D.Wood Paul H.M.Feron Hamidreza Mahdavi Roger J.Mulder Cara M.Doherty Matthew R.Hill Xavier Mulet 2022Science China Materials2022,65,7:0
8Visually Modelling Collaborative Research into Innovative Community Disaster Resilience Practice,Strategy,and Governance显示文摘In 2013 a new collaborative center was established in Wellington, New Zealand to focus on integrating resilience research with the region’s community disaster resilience strategy. An earlier study with parties to this center had indicated that researcher and practitioner groups were divided by attention to their own immediate knowledge and skills, but agreed there was a need to maximize community resilience benefits amongst a regional population. An action research workshop of researchers and practitioners used a visual logic model to focus on the pragmatic benefits of improving community resilience. The visual logic model was used to design research activities that would improve the regional community resilience strategy, which was still in an early implementation phase.Ten of 14 workshop participants were interviewed following the workshop. Statistical content analysis of interview data highlighted certain strengths of the action research process: visual monitoring and evaluation planning was a catalyst for complicated conversations between two very different groups of professionals; and researchers became more focused on practical issues as a result.
