| 3 | Flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte enabling a Li F-rich solid electrolyte interface to improve cycle performance of wide-temperature lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur batteries have been regarded as the most promising high-energy electrochemical energy storage device owing to the high energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, traditional lithium–sulfur batteries using ether-based electrolytes often suffer from severe safety risks(i.e. combustion). Herein, we demonstrated a novel kind of flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte(6.5 M lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide/fluoroethylene carbonate) for highly-safe and widetemperature lithium–sulfur batteries. It was found that such concentrated electrolyte showed superior flame retardancy, high lithium-ion transference number(0.69) and steady lithium plating/stripping behavior(2.5 m Ah cm^(-2) over 3000 h). Moreover, lithium–sulfur batteries using this flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte delivered outstanding cycle performance in a wide range of temperatures(-10 °C, 25 °C and 90 °C). This superior battery performance is mainly attributed to the LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase formed on lithium metal anode, which can effectively suppress the continuous growth of lithium dendrites. | 8 | SRWD1, a novel target gene of DELLA and WRKY proteins, participates in the development and immune response of rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘SRWD1, a member of the WD40 protein subfamily, is induced by salt stress in rice and its homolog in barley can bind to GAMYB, implying that SRWD1 might be involved in plant defense against environmental stress and gibberellic acid(GA) signalings. In this study, we focused on the biological functions and regulation mechanisms of SRWD1 in rice. The results showed that SRWD1 expression was repressed by GA and induced by abscisic acid(ABA). Two WRKY-family transcription factors, Os WRKY45 and Os WRKY72, were found to regulate SRWD1 expression by directly binding to the W-box region in its promoter. | 9 | Immunogenicity and virus-like particle formation of rotavirus capsid proteins produced in transgenic plants显示文摘The human pathogen, group A rotavirus, is the most prevalent cause of acute infantile and pediatric gastroenteritis worldwide, especially in developing countries. There is an urgent demand for safer, more effective and cheaper vaccines against rotavirus infection. Plant-derived antigens may provide an exclusive way to produce economical subunit vaccines. Virus-like particles, constituting viral capsid proteins without viral nucleic acids, are considered a far safer candidate compared with live attenuated viral vaccines. In this study, the rotavirus capsid proteins VP2, VP6 and VP7 were co-expressed in transgenic tobacco plants, and their expression levels, formation of rotavirus-like particles (RV VLPs) and immunogenicity were extensively studied. Quantitative real-time RT-PCR and Western blot analysis revealed that the expression level of vp6 was the highest while vp7 was expressed at the lowest levels. The RV VLPs were purified from transgenic tobacco plants and analyzed by electron microscopy and Western blot. Results indicated that the plant-derived VP2, VP6 and VP7 proteins self-assembled into 2/6 or 2/6/7 RV VLPs with a diameter of 60-80 nm. | 10 | Synthesis of H_(2)WO_(4)/GO and Its Oxidative Desulfurization Activity显示文摘H_(2)WO_(4)/GO catalyst was synthesized by the immersion method and was characterized by using X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and nitrogen adsorptiondesorption measurements(BET).The characterization results show that H_(2)WO_(4) has been dispersed on GO(grapheme oxide).H_(2)WO_(4)/GO was used as catalyst in the oxidative desulfurization of dibenzothiophene(DBT),with H2O2 acting as oxidant and acetonitrile acting as extraction agent.The experimental results show that the sulfur removal rate for DBT reach 99.2%,that for 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene(4,6-DMDBT)reach 95%and that for benzothiophene(BT)reach 42.8%under the optimal reaction conditions.Meanwhile,the recycled catalysts still exhibits good desulfurization performance after four operating cycles.The high activity and stability of catalysis is attributed to a small dose of H_(2)WO_(4),which is highly dispersed inside the layers of GO.This desulfurization reaction follows the pseudo-first-order kinetics,and the apparent activation energy of the desulfurization reaction is 18.515 kJ/mol,which indicates that the H_(2)WO_(4)/GO used as desulfurization catalyst has demonstrated good desulfurization property for DBT. | Wang Zihao Li Xiuping Hao Yangyang Zhao Rongxiang | 2021 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,2: | 4 |
| 11 | Real-Time Spreading Thickness Monitoring of High-core Rockfill Dam Based on K-nearest Neighbor Algorithm显示文摘During the storehouse surface rolling construction of a core rockfilldam, the spreading thickness of dam face is an important factor that affects the construction quality of the dam storehouse' rolling surface and the overallquality of the entire dam. Currently, the method used to monitor and controlspreading thickness during the dam construction process is artificialsampling check after spreading, which makes it difficult to monitor the entire dam storehouse surface. In this paper, we present an in-depth study based on real-time monitoring and controltheory of storehouse surface rolling construction and obtain the rolling compaction thickness by analyzing the construction track of the rolling machine. Comparatively, the traditionalmethod can only analyze the rolling thickness of the dam storehouse surface after it has been compacted and cannot determine the thickness of the dam storehouse surface in realtime. To solve these problems, our system monitors the construction progress of the leveling machine and employs a real-time spreading thickness monitoring modelbased on the K-nearest neighbor algorithm. Taking the LHK core rockfilldam in Southwest China as an example, we performed real-time monitoring for the spreading thickness and conducted real-time interactive queries regarding the spreading thickness. | 12 | Preparation of WO3/C Composite and Its Application in Oxidative Desulfurization of Fuel显示文摘The WO_3/C composite was successfully prepared by calcination of a mixture of WO_3 and g-C_3N_4 at 520 ℃. The as-synthesized samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD), electronic differential system(EDS), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), infrared spectrometry(IR) and the Brunner-Emmet-Teller(BET) techniques. The WO_3/C composite, in comparison with the WO_3 and C_3N_4, features smaller particle size, bigger surface area and higher desulphurization performance. The influence of the reaction temperature, the catalyst dosage, the reaction time, the oxidant dosage, the sulfide type and the extractant dose on desulfurization reaction was studied. The results showed that the WO_3/C composite revealed a higher desulfurization activity than the WO_3. The desulfurization rate could reach up to 95.8% under optimal conditions covering a catalyst dosage of 0.02 g, a H_2O_2 amount of 0.2 mL, a 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethyl sulfate(EMIES) amount of 1.0 mL, a reaction temperature of 70 ℃ and a reaction time of 180 min. | 13 | Wide-area nonlinear robust voltage control strategy for multi-machine power systems显示文摘This paper presented a novel wide-area nonlinear excitation control strategy for multi-machine power systems. A simple and effective model transformation method was proposed for the system's mathematical model in the COI (center of inertia) coordinate system. The system was transformed to an uncertain linear one where deviation of generator terminal voltage became one of the new state variables. Then a wide-area nonlinear robust voltage controller was designed utilizing a LMI (linear matrix inequality) based robust control theory. The proposed controller does not rely on any preselected system operating point, adapts to variations of network parameters and system operation conditions, and assures regulation accuracy of generator terminal voltages. Neither rotor angle nor any variable's differentiation needs to be measured for the proposed controller, and only terminal voltages, rotor speeds, active and reactive power outputs of generators are required. In addition, the proposed controller not only takes into account time delays of remote signals, but also eliminates the effect of wide-area information's incompleteness when not all generators are equipped with PMU (phase measurement unit). [Methods]With the combination of field investigation with indoor analysis,the characteristics of organic matter content in the Se-rich areas of Hainan in 1980 and 2010 was revealed by means of spatial analysis,and the differences were analyzed. [Results] In the last 30 years,the proportion of 20-30 g/kg of soil organic matter content in the Se-rich areas of Hainan was reduced,but the content of soil organic matter in the area generally increased. The average value of the content of organic matter in the area was increased from 25. 3 g/kg in the 1980 s to 28.1 g/kg,but its spatial distribution was uneven. | 16 | Designing specific bacterial 16S primers to sequence and quantitate plant endo-bacteriome显示文摘Plant endophytic bacteria colonize the internal tissues of plants and interact with plants closely.The past two decades have witnessed the increasing application of next-generation 16S r RNA gene sequencing in the investigation of bacterial communities.However,deciphering plant endo-bacterial communities by this method is difficult because of the co-amplification of massive plant organellar DNAs with bacterial 16S.Here,we designed polymerase chain reaction(PCR) primer sets,including799F/1107R,322F/796R,and 322F-Dr/796Rs(primer pair 322F/796R with a penultimate-base substitution in 322F),that can specifically amplify bacterial 16S from plant total DNAs.We computationally and experimentally evaluated the specificity,coverage,and accuracy of the newly designed primer sets.Both 799F/1107R and 322F-Dr/796Rs produced plant DNA-free 16S amplicon libraries or reduced plant DNA contamination to lower than 5% for the plant materials with extremely-low-abundance bacterial communities.The primer set 322F-A/796R was used through absolute quantitative PCR to quantitate the population size of rice leaf or root endo-bacteriome,which revealed 10^(6)–10^(7) and 10^(9)–10^(10) bacteria per gram fresh weight,respectively.These 16S primer sets and amplification methods enable the simple and inexpensive next-generation sequencing and quantification of plant endo-bacteriome,which will significantly advance studies on the plant-related microbiome. | Liying Chen Mengting Zhang Da Liu Hongbo Sun Jianxiang Wu Yan Huo Xiaoying Chen Rongxiang Fang Lili Zhang | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5: | 2 |
| 17 | Potential relationships between atmospheric particulate matter transported by winter monsoons and red tides in the East China Sea显示文摘Combining numerical diagnosis from atmospheric science with biogeochemical methods,a model of the potential correlation of monsoons with red tide emergence in the East China Sea is constructed.The model is designed based on an in-depth investigation of the time-space relationship of aerosol and red tide events in the East China Sea from 2005 to 2006,and a continuous monitoring of atmospheric particulates at two stations.The study shows that every red tide event investigated has a close relationship with aerosols coming from the northwest (wind direction in winter) along with subsidence flow.The elemental abundance of total suspended particulate in Hangzhou and Tiantai is different from that of soil background levels,indicating atmospheric particulates there are brought in by winter winds.There is a significant correlation between the content of iron and phosphorous in atmospheric particulates,which mainly exist in binding materials between particulates.In addition,the confined absorption of iron and phosphorous by red tides is related to the intensity of sunlight.These results provide new information regarding the mechanism for the high frequency of red tides in the East China Sea.The results also provide a scientific basis for establishing new pathways for pre-warning and forecasting of red tide disasters. | WENG HuanXin TIAN RongXiang JI ZhongQiang YU XinAn | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,3: | 2 |

| 20 | Effect of Combined Application of Boron and Molybdenum Microelement Fertilizer on Cowpea Yield and Quality显示文摘Through field plot experiment,we research the influencing factors of cowpea yield and quality after applying boron and molybdenum microelement fertilizer. Results show that the application of boron and molybdenum microelement fertilizer can significantly increase the yield and improve the quality of cowpea. Compared with the control,yield per mu increases by 5. 08- 18. 86%; N content increases by 4. 27%-11. 28%; P content increases by 2. 13%- 13. 57%; K content increases by 2. 00%- 18. 48%; crude protein increases by 4. 16%-19. 94%; vitamin C increases by 2. 71%- 11. 79%; nitrate content decreases by 5%- 15%.
