3Chemical characteristics and source apportionment of PM_(2.5) between heavily polluted days and other days in Zhengzhou, China显示文摘PM_(2.5) samples were collected in Zhengzhou during 3 years of observation, and chemical characteristics and source contribution were analyzed. Approximately 96% of the daily PM_(2.5) concentrations and annual average values exceeded the Chinese National Ambient Air Quality Daily and Annual Standards, indicating serious PM_(2.5) pollution. The average concentration of water-soluble inorganic ions was 2.4 times higher in heavily polluted days(daily PM32.5 concentrations > 250 μg/mand visibility < 3 km) than that in other days, with sulfate, nitrate, and ammonium as major ions. According to the ratio of NO-3/SO2-4,stationary sources are still the dominant source of PM_(2.5) and vehicle emission could not be ignored. The ratio of secondary organic carbon to organic carbon indicated that photochemical reactivity in heavily polluted days was more intense than in other days.Crustal elements were the most abundant elements, accounting for more than 60% of 23 elements. Chemical Mass Balance results indicated that the contributions of major sources(i.e., nitrate, sulfate, biomass, carbon and refractory material, coal combustion, soil dust,vehicle, and industry) of PM_(2.5) were 13%, 16%, 12%, 2%, 14%, 8%, 7%, and 8% in heavily polluted days and 20%, 18%, 9%, 2%, 27%, 14%, 15%, and 9% in other days, respectively.Extensive combustion activities were the main sources of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons during the episode(Jan 1-9, 2015) and the total benzo[a]pyrene equivalency concentrations in heavily polluted days present significant health threat. 5Recent development of a refined multiple air pollutant emission inventory of vehicles in the Central Plains of China显示文摘Central Plains region of China,represented by Henan Province,is facing serious air pollution problems.Vehicular exhaust emissions had adverse impacts on the atmospheric environment.The first comprehensive and novel vehicle emission inventory for Henan Province using vehicle kilometers traveled,localized emission factors,and activity data at city-level was developed.Furthermore,3 km×3 km gridded emission and temporal variations were determined by using localized information.Results show that the total emissions of sulfur dioxide(SO2),nitrogen oxides(NOx),carbon monoxide(CO),particular matter with aerodynamic diameter<10μm(PM10),aerodynamic diameter<2.5μm(PM2.5),volatile organic compounds(VOCs),VOCs-evaporation and ammonia in 2015 were 9.1,533.4,1190.7,23.7,21.6,150.8,31.5 and 10.4 Gg,respectively,and the emission intensities of the above pollutants were 0.05,2.7,6.0,0.1,0.1,0.8,0.2 and 0.05 g/km,respectively.Vehicles meeting the Primary China 1,China 3 and China 4 contributed 89.1%,82.7%,75.3%,75.5%,75.5%,68.2%,68.4%and 82.3%for SO2,NOx,CO,PM10,PM2.5,VOCs,VOCs-evaporation and ammonia emissions,respectively.Zhengzhou,Zhoukou,Nanyang,Luoyang,Shangqiu and Xinyang showed relatively higher emissions and contributed more than 50%of each pollutant.The spatial distribution indicated obvious characteristics of the road network,and high-level emission was concentrated in the downtown areas.Additionally,the ozone formation potential(OFP)based on the estimated speciated VOC emissions was 569.6 Gg in Henan Province.Aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons were the main species of VOCs,whereas olefins contributed the largest proportion of OFP,with 42.2%.Xingke Gu Shasha Yin Xuan Lu Huan Zhang Lingling Wang Ling Bai Chen Wang Ruiqin Zhang Minghao Yuan 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,10:11
6Characteristics,sources and health risks assessment of VOCs in Zhengzhou,China during haze pollution season显示文摘Zhengzhou is one of the most haze-polluted cities in Central China with high organic carbon emission,which accounts for 15%-20%of particulate matter(PM_(2.5))in winter and causes significantly adverse health effects.Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are the precursors of secondary PM_(2.5)and O_(3)formation.An investigation of characteristics,sources and health risks assessment of VOCs was carried out at the urban area of Zhengzhou from 1^(st) to 31^(st) December,2019.The mean concentrations of total detected VOCs were 48.8±23.0 ppbv.Alkanes(22.0±10.4 ppbv),halocarbons(8.1±3.9 ppbv)and aromatics(6.5±3.9 ppbv)were the predominant VOC species,followed by alkenes(5.1±3.3 ppbv),oxygenated VOCs(3.6±1.8 ppbv),alkyne(3.5±1.9,ppbv)and sulfide(0.5±0.9 ppbv).The Positive Matrix Factorization model was used to identify and apportion VOCs sources.Five major sources of VOCs were identified as vehicular exhaust,industrial processes,combustion,fuel evaporation,and solvent use.The carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risk values of species were calculated.The carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks of almost all air toxics increased during haze days.The total non-carcinogenic risks exceeded the acceptable ranges.Most VOC species posed no non-carcinogenic risk during three haze events.The carcinogenic risks of chloroform,1,2-dichloroethane,1,2-dibromoethane,benzyl chloride,hexachloro-1,3-butadiene,benzene and naphthalene were above the acceptable level(1.0×10^(-6))but below the tolerable risk level(1.0×10^(-4)).Industrial emission was the major contributor to non-carcinogenic,and solvent use was the major contributor to carcinogenic risks.Dong Zhang Bing He Minghao Yuan Shijie Yu Shasha Yin Ruiqin Zhang 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,10:10
7An advanced partitioning process for key elements separation from high level liquid waste显示文摘To separate MA(Am,Cm) and some fission product elements(FPs) such as Tc,Pd,Cs and Sr from high level liquid waste(HLLW) systematically,we have been studying an advanced aqueous partitioning process,which uses selective adsorption as the separation method.For this process,we prepared several novel adsorbents which were immobilized in a porous silica/polymer composite support(SiO 2-P).Adsorption and separation behavior of various elements was studied experimentally in detail.Small scale separation tests using simulated HLLW solutions were carried out.Pd(II) was strongly adsorbed by the AR-01 anion exchanger and effectively eluted off by using thiourea.Successful separation of Pd(II) from simulated HLLW was achieved.Tc(VII) also exhibited strong adsorption on AR-01 and could be eluted off by using U(IV) as a reductive eluent.Am(III) presented significantly high adsorbability and selectivity onto R-BTP/SiO 2-P adsorbents over various FPs including Ln(III).The R-BTP adsorbents were fairly stable in 3 M HNO 3,but instable against-irradiation-3M HNO 3.An advanced partitioning process consisting of three separation columns for the target elements separation from HLLW was proposed and the obtained experiment results indicated that the proposed process is essentially feasible.WEI YueZhou WANG XinPeng LIU RuiQin WU Yan USUDA Shigekazu ARAI Tsuyoshi 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,9:9

10RNN-Based Demand Awareness in Smart Library Using CRFID显示文摘To provide more intelligence service in the smart library, we need to better perceive the reader’s preferences. In addition to perceiving online records based on readers’ search history and borrowing records, advanced information technologies give us more chance to perceive the behavior of readers in the actual reading process and further discover the need for reading. In this paper, we use CRFID and RNN deep learning network to recognize book motions in the reading process, so as to judge readers’ need degree for the book, which can provide a basis for library book purchases and readers personalized service. In order to improve the recognition accuracy, we use the RSS as well as acceleration magnitude gathered from CRFID as the input data for RNN, and design a new encoding scheme. 11Risk of gestational diabetes recurrence and the development of type 2 diabetes among women with a history of gestational diabetes and risk factors: a study among 18 clinical centers in China显示文摘Background:Gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)brings health issues for both mothers and offspring,and GDM prevention is as important as GDM management.It was shown that a history of GDM was significantly associated with a higher maternal risk for GDM recurrence.The incidence of GDM recurrence was unclear because of the incidence of second-child was low before 2016 in China.We aim to investigate the prevalence of GDM recurrence and its associated high-risk factors which may be useful for the prediction of GDM recurrence in China.Methods:A retrospective study was conducted which enrolled participants who underwent regular prenatal examination and delivered twice in the same hospital of 18 research centers.All participants were enrolled from January 2018 to October 2018,where they delivered the second baby during this period.A total of 6204 women were enrolled in this study,and 1002 women with a history of GDM were analyzed further.All participants enrolled in the study had an oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)result at 24 to 28 weeks and were diagnosed as GDM in the first pregnancy according to the OGTT value(when any one of the following values is met or exceeded to the 75-g OGTT:0 h[fasting],≥5.10 mmol/L;1 h,≥10.00 mmol/L;and 2 h,≥8.50 mmol/L).The prevalence of GDM recurrence and development of type 2 diabetes mellitus were calculated,and its related risk factors were analyzed.Results:In 6204 participants,there are 1002 women(1002/6204,16.15%)with a history of GDM and 5202 women(5202/6204,83.85%)without a history of GDM.There are significant differences in age(32.43±4.03 years vs.33.00±3.34 years vs.32.19±3.37 years,P<0.001),pregnancy interval(4.06±1.44 years vs.3.52±1.43 years vs.3.38±1.35 years,P=0.004),prepregnancy body mass index(BMI)(27.40±4.62 kg/m^(2)vs.23.50±3.52 kg/m^(2)vs.22.55±3.47 kg/m^(2),P<0.001),history of delivered macrosomia(22.7%vs.11.0%vs.6.2%,P<0.001)among the development of diabetes mellitus(DM),recurrence of GDM,and normal women.Moreover,it seems so important in the degree of abnormal glucose metabolism in the first pregnancy to the recurrence of GDM and the development of DM.There are significant differences in OGTT levels of the first pregnancy such as area under the curve of OGTT value(18.31±1.90 mmol/L vs.16.27±1.93 mmol/L vs.15.55±1.92 mmol/L,P<0.001),OGTT fasting value(5.43±0.48 mmol/L vs.5.16±0.49 mmol/L vs.5.02±0.47 mmol/L,P<0.001),OGTT 1-hour value(10.93±1.34 mmol/L vs.9.69±1.53 mmol/L vs.9.15±1.58 mmol/L,P<0.001),OGTT 2-hour value(9.30±1.66 mmol/L vs.8.01±1.32 mmol/L vs.7.79±1.38 mmol/L,P<0.001),incidence of impaired fasting glucose(IFG)(fasting plasma glucose≥5.6 mmol/L)(31.3%vs.14.6%vs.8.8%,P<0.001),and incidence of two or more abnormal OGTT values(68.8%vs.39.7%vs.23.9%,P<0.001)among the three groups.Using multivariate analysis,the factors,such as age(1.07[1.02-1.12],P=0.006),prepregnancy BMI(1.07[1.02,1.12],P=0.003),and area under the curve of OGTT in the first pregnancy(1.14[1.02,1.26],P=0.02),have an effect on maternal GDM recurrence;the factors,such as age(1.28[1.01-1.61],P=0.04),pre-pregnancy BMI(1.26[1.04,1.53],P=0.02),and area under the curve of OGTT in the first pregnancy(1.65[1.04,2.62],P=0.03),have an effect on maternal DM developed further.Conclusions:The history of GDM was significantly associated with a higher maternal risk for GDM recurrence during follow-up after the first pregnancy.The associated risk factors for GDM recurrence or development of DM include age,high pre-pregnancy BMI,history of delivered macrosomia,the OGTT level in the first pregnancy,such as the high area under the curve of OGTT,IFG,and two or more abnormal OGTT values.To prevent GDM recurrence,women with a history of GDM should do the preconception counseling before preparing next pregnancy.Yumei Wei Juan Juan Rina Su Geng Song Xu Chen Ruiqin Shan Ying Li Shihong Cui Shangrong Fan Ling Feng Zishan You Haixia Meng Yan Cai Cuilin Zhang Huixia Yang 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,6:7

13Spatiotemporal characterization and regional contributions of O3 and NO2:An investigation of two years of monitoring data in Henan,China显示文摘To investigate the characteristics of ground level ozone(O3)for Henan Province,the ambient air quality monitoring data of 2015 and 2016 were analyzed.The result showed that the 8 h-max-O3 concentrations displayed a distinct seasonality,where the maximum and minimum values,averaging 140.41,54.19μg/m3,occurred in summer and winter,respectively.There is a significant correlation between meteorological factors and O3 concentration.The Voronoi neighborhood averaging analysis indic ated that O3,temperature,and ultraviolet radiation in Henan province were decreased from northwest to southeast,while relative humidity and precipitation displayed the opposite trend.Besides meteorological factors,the chemical processes play an essential role in ozone formation.Reactions of NO,NO2 and O3 form a closed system,and the partitioning point of the OX-component(O3+NO2)was at 40 and 80μg/m3 for nitrogen oxide(NOx)in winter and summer,respectively,with NO2 dominating at higher NOx pollution and O3 being the m ajor component at lower levels.The relationship between oxidant(OX=O3+NO2)and NOx concentrations were evaluated to understand the regional and local contribution of OX.It showed that high regional contribution occurred in the spring,whereas the highest local contribution lead to the summer peak of O3 observed in Zhengzhou.This present study reveals important environment impacts from the photochemical process and the meteorological conditions in the region with better understanding on the O3 characterization.Shijie Yu Shasha Yin Ruiqin Zhang Lingling Wang Fangcheng Su Yixiang Zhang Jian Yang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,4:7
14Expression Patterns of Cytochrome P450 Aromatase Genes During Ovary Development and Their Responses to Temperature Stress in Female Yellow Catfish (Pelteobagrus fulvidraco)显示文摘Cytochrome P450 aromatase(P450arom)plays a pivotal role in ovary development.In this study,we used semi-quanti-tative reverse transcription PCR(RT-PCR)to analyze spatiotemporal expressions of two P450arom genes(CYP19A and CYP19B)and their responses to temperature stress in female yellow catfish(Pelteobagrus fulvidraco).Tissue distribution pattern of CYP19 showed that CYP19B was abundantly expressed in fish brain and ovary(brain > ovary),but weakly in intestines,whereas CYP19A was exclusively expressed in ovary.Semi-quantitative RT-PCR analyses showed high transcript abundance of both CYP19A and CYP19B in the ovarian reproductive cycle,corresponding with serum estradiol-17β(E2)levels.Increases in aromatases,serum E2 and testosterone(T)levels in fish exposed to higher temperature indicated stimulation of ovarian maturation and recrudescence by heat stress in stages Ⅱ and Ⅴ during the ovarian cycle,whereas associated decreases in stage Ⅲ suggested vitellogenesis inhibition by heat stress.Gene expression of CYP19 was closely related to levels of serum E2.Results demonstrated CYP19 played a crucial role in the reproductive cycle of female yellow catfish.Different temperature stress affected CYP19 gene expression in the fish ovarian re-productive cycle.Associated P450arom genes could be useful for studying physiological aspects of yellow catfish.LIU Miao WEN Haishen HE Feng LI Jifang SHI Dan HU Jian ZHANG Yuanqing MA Ruiqin MU Weijie QI Baoxia 2011Journal of Ocean University of China2011,10,4:5

16Selective synthesis of SnO_2 hollow microspheres and nano-sheets via a hydrothermal route显示文摘We report a mild template-free hydrothermal route for selective synthesis of SnO2 hollow microspheres and nano-sheets using SnCl2 and NaOH as initial materials.By switching the solvent from water to ethanol,the formed SnO2 nanostructures changed from nano-sheets to hollow microspheres.The obtained nano-sheets were single crystalline in structure.On the basis of the characterization of intermediate products,the formation of SnO2 hollow microspheres was ascribed to a crystal growth process,while the formation of SnO2 nano-sheets was ascribed to the oxidation of SnO2 sheets during the hydrothermal process.Further characterization of the SnO2 hollow microspheres and nano-sheets by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy reveals different optical absorption properties and valence band electronic structures.In addition,the SnO2 nano-sheets and hollow microspheres exhibit different sensing properties.The present work provides a facile and simple template-free method for the synthesis of nano-structured SnO2.LI Yue GUO YanQun TAN RuiQin CUI Ping LI Yong SONG WeiJie 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,7:3
17The diagnostic value of tumor abnormal protein and high sensitivity C reactive protein in screening for endometrial cancer with endometrial thickness less than 8 mm显示文摘Objective This study aimed to combine tumor abnormal protein(TAP) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) level detection to diagnose endometrial cancer in patients with endometrial thickness less than 8 mm, and to provide a reference for clinical screening and diagnosis. Methods Clinical data from 19 cases of endometrial cancer, diagnosed on the basis of pathological findings, were collected from September 2014 to December 2015. The inclusion criteria were as follows: the patients were first diagnosed with endometrial thickness less than 8 mm and were all in menopause. Perimenopausal patients(n = 26) with uterine fibroids seen during the same period were selected as a control group. Serum TAP and hs-CRP levels of the patients in the two groups were simultaneously determined on admission. Results We found that both TAP and hs-CRP levels in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group [(182.95 ± 72.14) μm^2 vs.(133.19 ± 55.18) μm^2, P = 0.019;(7.52 ± 19.03) mg/L vs.(1.66 ± 2.31) mg/L, P = 0.136]. The sensitivity of TAP for the diagnosis of endometrial cancer was 73.68%, the specificity was 69.23%, and the Youden index was 0.4291. The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of hs-CRP was 15.79% and 100%, respectively, and the Youden index was 0.1579. After plotting the receiver operating characteristics curves, the optimal cut-off value for TAP in diagnosing endometrial cancer was found to be 160.662 μm^2 and that for hs-CRP was 1.07 mg/L. 18Electrochemical behavior and electrowinning of palladium in nitric acid media显示文摘In this study,the electrochemical behavior of Pd(II)in nitric acid media was investigated using various electrochemical techniques.By analyzing the cyclic voltammogram of Pd(II)recorded at Pt electrode,a series of electrochemical reactions associated with palladium were recognized,indicating that Pd(II)undergoes a single step two-electrons irreversible process.Electroreduction reaction of Pd(II)and auto-catalytic reactions of nitrous acid are supposed to play a leading role in low and high concentrations of nitric acid,respectively.Stirring could facilitate the reduction of Pd(II)in relatively low nitric acid concentration(3 mol/L).The value of charge transfer coefficient was determined to be 0.18 for the measurements at 298 K.The diffusion coefficient of Pd(II)increased from 1.89×10 8cm2/s at 288 K to 4.23×10 8cm2/s at 318 K,and the activation energy was calculated to be 21.5 kJ/mol.In electrowinning experiments,SEM images of palladium obtained by electrolysis reveal the dendrite growth in all cases,which is uniform all over the entire surface of Pt electrode.The recovery ratios of Pd at different nitric acid concentrations are high,and the faradic efficiency of electrolysis decreases with increasing the nitric acid concentration.When stirring was introduced during electrolysis,the electrodeposition rate of Pd increased substantially.LIU ShengChu WEI YueZhou LIU RuiQin FANG BaiZeng 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,12:3
19Challenges to develop single-column MA(Ⅲ) separation from HLLW using R-BTP type adsorbents显示文摘In order to directly separate trivalent minor actinides(MA:Am,Cm) from fission products(FP) containing rare earths(RE) in high level radioactive liquid waste(HLLW),the authors have challenged to develop a simplified MA separation process by extraction chromatography using a single column.Attention has been paid to a new type of nitrogen-donor ligands,R-BTP(2,6-bis(5,6-dialkyl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl) pyridine,R:alkyl group) as an extractant because it shows high extraction selectivity for Am(Ⅲ) over RE(Ⅲ).It is known that the R-BTP ligands show different properties such as adsorbability and stability by having different alkyl groups.Therefore,some novel adsorbents were prepared by impregnating different types of R-BTP ligands(isohexyl-,isoheptyl-and cyheptyl-BTP) and a similar ligand to the R-BTP,ATP(2,6-bis(1-aryl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl)pyridines),into the porous silica/polymer support(SiO2-P particles).This work deals with comparison in adsorption and desorption properties of Am and some FP in HNO 3 solution onto such R-BTP type adsorbents,as well as chemical and radiolytic stability of the adsorbents.Then the possibility of a single-column separation of MA from main FP was pursued by evaluating the results of column experiments using the most promising adsorbent(isohexyl-BTP/SiO2-P) under temperature control.In addition,elution behaviors of U and Pd were also estimated.USUDA Shigekazu WEI YueZhou LIU RuiQin LI Zheng XU YuanLai WU Yan KIM Seongyun 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,9:3
20Sputtered nano-cobalt on H-USY zeolite for selectively converting syngas to gasoline显示文摘Selectively converting CO and H2 to gasoline product(isoparaffin and olefin) in one step still remains a great challenge. We demonstrate effective H-USY zeolite supported nano-cobalt bifunctional catalysts for this catalytic reaction, which are prepared by the novel physical sputtering process. Particles of the sputtered cobalt exist in nano-level and are well-dispersed on acid USY zeolite. Easy activation of the loaded nano-cobalt is also achieved in a low-temperature hydrogen reduction atmosphere. In the tandem catalytic reaction, the sputtered bifunctional Co/USY catalyst exhibits a much higher CO conversion and higher isoparaffin selectivity than the conventional impregnated one. Compared with H-Mor, H-Beta and other zeolites supported catalysts, H-USY zeolite supported cobalt catalyst shows the clearest promotional effect on the activity of FischerTropsch synthesis.
