1Genetic analysis and gene mapping of a new rolled-leaf mutant in rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘To understand the development of rice leaf blades,we identified a new rolled-leaf mutant,w32,from indica cultivar IR64 through EMS mutagenesis. The mutant showed a stable rolled-leaf phenotype throughout the life cycle. Two F2 populations were developed by crossing w32 to cultivar IR24 and PA64. Genetic analysis showed that the rolled-leaf phenotype was controlled by a single recessive gene. To determine the location of the gene,bulked segregant analysis was carried out using mutant and wild-type DNA pools and 1846 mutant-type F2 individuals derived from the cross w32/PA64 were genotyped to locate the gene on the short arm of chromosome 7. The rolled-leaf gene,tentatively named rl11(t),is likely a new gene as no other rolled-leaf genes have been identified near the region. By developing new SSR and InDel markers,the gene was delimited to a 52 kb region near the end of the short chromosome arm. 2The Bedload Movement in the Changjiang Estuary显示文摘- Sandwaves in the Changjiang estuary were measured with a shallow sediment profiler and an echosounder from 1978 to 1988. The data, together with grain size and bedform of sediment indicates that the bedload movement by rolling and saltation is of great significance to sediment transport and is the principal factor responsible for sandwave and sandbody development in the estuary. The sandwaves were found well-developed, which is related to the tidal range and the velocity of ebb current. However, the further growth is restricted by strong flood current prevailing in the estuary. Because of the significant bedload, the sandbodies shift obviously and frequently, and sometimes the exchange of position occurs between the sandbodies and tidal channels. 3Morphological variation in fossil crayfish of the Jehol biota,Liaoning Province,China and its texonomic discrimination显示文摘Twelve morphological characteristics in 61 fossil crayfish specimens, which came from the Upper Jurassic Yixian Formation, are discussed respectively in the present paper. A study of these new and better preserved materials allows us to add to and revise the original description for Family Cricoidoscelosidae. In our collection, no modifications of the second pleopod of the males have yet been noted. This would be a crucial factor for the diagnosis of the family. Based on the presence of annulus ventralis in both Cricoidoscelosus and Palaeocambarus, they would appear to be very closely allied to those characteristics of the Family Cambaridae. In regard to the family Protastacidae, we seriously doubt it is actually crayfish, in light of the lack of any apomorphies identifiable within the Astacida, and their marine habitat.SHEN Yanbin, Frederick R. 4Leaching of Nutrient Elements in a Red Soil Derived from Quaternary Red Clay显示文摘A red soil derived from Quaternary red clay was employed to study nutrient leaching with soil columns repacked in laboratory. The objective was to identify the effects of fertilization practices on leaching patterns and magnitudes of Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, NH+, and NO-. The treatments were CK (as a control), CaCO3,CaSO4, MgCO3, Ca(H2PO4)2, urea, KCI, and multiple (a mixture of the above-mentioned fertilizers). The fertilizers were added to the bare surface of the soil columns, and then the columns were leached with 120 mL deionized water daily through peristaltic pumps over a period of 92 days. Leaching processes of NH+, and NO- were only measured in CK, urea, and multiple treatments which were directly related to N leaching.Results showed that sole application of CaSO4, and Ca(H2PO4)2 scarcely had any effect on the leaching losses of Ca2+, Mg2+, and K+; the application of MgCO3 stimulated the leaching of Mg2+; the application of CaCOs promoted the leaching of Ca2+, Mg2+ and K+; urea treatment also promoted the leaching of K+ and NH+, and NO- leaching mainly occurred at late stage of leaching process in particular; under KCI treatment, leaching of Ca2+, Mg2+, and K+ was promoted to a large extent; under multiple treatment,leaching of Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, NH+, and NO- was all increased and NO- was mainly leached at the end of leaching process and still had a trend of increase.SHEN RENFANG and ZHAO QIGUO(Laboratory Of Material Cycling in Pedosphere, Institute of Soil Science, the Chinese Academy of Sciences,P.O. 6Effects of Internal Flow on Vortex-Induced Vibration and Fatigue Life of Submarine Pipelines显示文摘- With the rapid development of the offshore oil industries, submarine oil / gas pipelines have been widely used. Under the complicated submarine environmental conditions, the dynamic characteristics of pipelines show some new features due to the existence of both internal and external flows. The paper is intended to investigate the vortex-induced vibration of the suspended pipeline span exposed to submarine steady flow. Especially, the effects of the flow inside the pipeline are taken into account. 7Anti-aggregation dispersion of ultrafine particles by electrostatic technique显示文摘The dispersion of ultrafine particles in the air can be achieved by mechanical method or surface modification. In this work, the electrostatic technique was first employed for anti-aggregation of ultrafine particles. When the relative humidity of the air is within the region of 70%-75%, effective storage time of ultrafine particles can reach 72 h after treatment by the electrostatic technique. The experimental results showed that this technique imparted ultrafine particles much more pronounced anti-aggregation property. In the dry air, the critical diameter of ultrafine particles anti-aggregated by the electrostatic technique is the function of particle property and charging field intensity. 8Dispersion characteristics of fine particles in water,ethanol and kerosene显示文摘Dispersion behavior of hydrophilic calcium carbonate particles and hydrophobic talcum particles in water, ethanol and kerosene media has been studied by sedimentation analysis. It is found that the dispersion of fine particles complies with the principle of polarity compatibility. That is to say, the dispersion effect will be improved when surface polarity of particles is similar to that of liquid media. 13Syngas Production Using an Oxygen-Permeating Membrane Reactor with Cofeed of Methane and Carbon Dioxide显示文摘CH4-CO2-O2 reforming to syngas in a novel Ba0.5 Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ oxygen-permeable membrane reactor using LiLaNiO/δ-Al2O3 as catalyst was successfully reported. Excellent reaction performance was achieved with around 92% methane conversion efficiency, 95% CO2 conversion rate, and nearly 8.5mL/min.cm2 oxygen permeation flux. 15Influence of in vitro Methods, Receptor Fluids on Percutaneous Absorption and Validation of a Novel in vitro Method显示文摘In vitro experiment using excised skin has been valuable for studying the mechanism of percutaneous absorption. Based on previously established static diffusion cell system in this laboratory, a novel model-peifused glass diffusion cell system is desboed. The results of initial comporative study on percutaneous absorption between glass perfused diffusion cell and static diffusion cell, ih vitro and in vivo permeation as well as factors affecting permeation with seven radiolabelled chemicals are presented. The results demonstrate that the peifused diffusion cell system, which used a perfusion nuid betow the suiface of skin to take up the materials which penetrated the skin, is more similar to physiologic condition,convenient and automatic than that of the static cell. It well predicts the in vivo percutaneous absorption if appropriate areptor fluid is chosen. 16A Novel Zirconium-Based Perovskite-Type Membrane Material for Oxygen Permeation显示文摘A novel zirconium-based membrane material of BaCo0.4Fe0.4Zr0.2O3-δ with cubic perovskite structure was synthesized for the first time through a method of citric and EDTA acid combined complexes. The structural stability was characterized by XRD, O2-TPD and H2-TPR techniques respectively. The high oxygen permeation flux of 0.873 mL/cm2·min at 950(C was obtained under He/Air gradient. 18The Configuration Optimization for Multilimbed Robots with the Viewpoint of Maximum Loading Capacity显示文摘This paper presents a method for optimizing the configuration of a multilimbed robot (the robot with both arms and legs) which works with a big load. A least-effort criterion is proposed as the base of optimization. When the applying Cartesian force and the task point are given, the best configuration of the robot will be easily found through a series of imaginary motions of the robot and some simple computations. The imaginary motion varies with the working environment related to the construction of the robot, the task point and the force direction. 19Cofeeding of Methane and Ethane to Produce Syngas over a LiLaNiO/γ-Al_2O_3 Catalyst显示文摘Partial oxidation of methane and ethane to syngas over a LiLaNIO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was investigated with a flow-reactor, XPS and XRD.
