1The Bedload Movement in the Changjiang Estuary显示文摘- Sandwaves in the Changjiang estuary were measured with a shallow sediment profiler and an echosounder from 1978 to 1988. The data, together with grain size and bedform of sediment indicates that the bedload movement by rolling and saltation is of great significance to sediment transport and is the principal factor responsible for sandwave and sandbody development in the estuary. The sandwaves were found well-developed, which is related to the tidal range and the velocity of ebb current. However, the further growth is restricted by strong flood current prevailing in the estuary. Because of the significant bedload, the sandbodies shift obviously and frequently, and sometimes the exchange of position occurs between the sandbodies and tidal channels. 7Effects of trace calcium and strontium on microstructure and properties of Cu-Cr alloys显示文摘Cu-0.57Cr-0.01Ca and Cu-0.58Cr-0.01Sr(wt.%)alloys were fabricated and processed by thermo-mechanical treatment.Their mechanical and electrical properties and microstructure were investigated in detail and compared with those of a Cu-0.57Cr(wt.%)alloy.The results showed that the softening resistance of the Cu-Cr alloy was significantly improved by the additions of Ca and Sr elements.Compared with the Cu-Cr alloy,the deformation microstructure of the Cu-Cr-Ca and Cu-Cr-Sr alloys was more difficult to recrystallize at elevated temperatures,and the Cr precipitates in the Cu-Cr-Ca and Cu-Cr-Sr alloys were smaller in size and had an FCC structure at any given aging state.The high strengths of the Cu-Cr-Ca and Cu-Cr-Sr alloys were mainly attributed to the dislocation strengthening provided by high-density dislocations and the precipitate strengthening provided by fine Cr precipitates.First-principles calculation showed that the segregations of Ca and Sr atoms at interface between Cr precipitates and copper matrix were favorable in energetics.This segregation effectively hindered the growth of Cr precipitates and significantly enhanced the pinning effect on the motion of dislocations and subgrain boundaries,eventually leading to the improvement in the softening resistance of the Cu-Cr alloy.Muzhi Ma Zhu Xiao Xiangpeng Meng Zhou Li Shen Gong Jie Dai Hongyun Jiang Yanbin Jiang Qian Lei Haigen Wei 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,17:1

9Study on the Improvement of Sea-Entering Waterway in the Changjiang Estuary显示文摘The Changjiang Estuary is the doorway of the Shanghai Harbour and the throat for the six provinces in the Changjiang River drainage area. However the minimum water depth of the waterway in the estuary is only about six meters, so that the development of the Shanghai Harbour and the utilization of water transportation on the Changjiang River have been greatly restrained. Since 1975, the depth of the sea-entering waterway of the Changjiang Estuary has been successfully increased by one meter.
