1Cloud Storage Security Assessment Through Equilibrium Analysis显示文摘With ever greater amounts of data stored in cloud servers, data security and privacy issues have become increasingly important. Public cloud storage providers are semi-trustworthy because they may not have adequate security mechanisms to protect user data from being stolen or misused. Therefore, it is crucial for cloud users to evaluate the security of cloud storage providers. However, existing security assessment methods mainly focus on external security risks without considering the trustworthiness of cloud providers. In addition, the widely used thirdparty mediators are assumed to be trusted and we are not aware of any work that considers the security of these mediators. This study fills these gaps by assessing the security of public cloud storage providers and third-party mediators through equilibrium analysis. More specifically, we conduct evaluations on a series of game models between public cloud storage providers and users to thoroughly analyze the security of different service scenarios.Using our proposed security assessment, users can determine the risk of whether their privacy data is likely to be hacked by the cloud service providers;the cloud service providers can also decide on strategies to make their services more trustworthy. 2Dual relations in physical and cyber space显示文摘With the rapid development of computer, communication, and sensing technology, our living space has been transformed from physical space into a space shared by physical space and cyberspace. In the light of this fact and based on analyzing the char- acteristics of physical and cyberspace, respectively, this paper proposed that there are dual relations be- tween physical space and cyberspace. Establishing dual relations is realized in the following two processes: the process of information extraction, analysis and structurization from physical space to cyberspace and the process of providing the information services from cyberspace to physical space by means of inferring the intention, state and demand of users, as well. 4Gesture-based target acquisition in virtual and augmented reality显示文摘Background Gesture is a basic interaction channel that is frequently used by humans to communicate in daily life. In this paper, we explore to use gesture-based approaches for target acquisition in virtual and augmented reality. A typical process of gesture-based target acquisition is: when a user intends to acquire a target, she performs a gesture with her hands, head or other parts of the body, the computer senses and recognizes the gesture and infers the most possible target. Methods We build mental model and behavior model of the user to study two key parts of the interaction process. Mental model describes how user thinks up a gesture for acquiring a target, and can be the intuitive mapping between gestures and targets. Behavior model describes how user moves the body parts to perform the gestures, and the relationship between the gesture that user intends to perform and signals that computer senses. Results In this paper, we present and discuss three pieces of research that focus on the mental model and behavior model of gesture-based target acquisition in VR and AR. 5China’s bioenergy industry development roadmap显示文摘Positive development of renewable energy, saving and substitution of fossil energy, promotion of the energy structure adjustment are the inevitable strategy choices of China’s sustainable development. This paper discussed the China’s bioenergy resources status, development targets and technology development roadmaps. China has 136.140 million hm2 of marginal land, which distribute mainly in western and northern regions. There are 1 billion t of crop residues and forestry waste annually, and 300 million t can be used to produce different kinds of bioenergies. And organic waste and manure can generate 50 billion m3 of biogas. The discussed development target indicated that it can construct a biomass oilfield with the capacity of 100 million t/year and reduce 200 million t of CO_2 emission by 2020. The bioenergy technology development roadmap indicated that the bioethanol mainly uses non grain starch and hemicellulose products as raw materials in the near-term (2006-2010). 6Modeling and simulation of dynamic carbonate deposition in a loess-paleosol sequence显示文摘A compartment model of dynamic deposition processes has been developed and testedin the Potou loess section of China. There are four components in the model : carbonate input ofeolian dust, carbonate output of erosion, carbonate chemical equilibrium and soil water balance. Aclimate stochastic model software (CLIMAK) generates the daily weather data. The processes ofeolian dust deposition, erosion, and pedogenesis simulate the complex process of carbonatedeposition in a loess-paleosol sequence. We consider both climatic change and soil-forming factors.The results indicate that since the Late Pleistocene in Potou section, the mean carbonate fluxesfrom precipitation, eolian dust and erosion are 0.14g/cm^2/kg, 1.45g/cm^2/ka and 0.23g/cm^2/karespectively. 7A Soil Morphological Index for Paleosol Research显示文摘We developed a soil morphological index to quantitatively measure the degree ofpaleosol development. For its development, this index combined paleopedogenic features with tensoil macro- and micro-morphological properties from morphological descriptions of Potou and JiuZhoutai loess sections in the Loess Plateau of China. These ten properties are: rubification (colorhue and chroma), total texture (texture type, stickiness and plasticity), melanization (color value),microstructure, fine material (<0.01 mm), primary carbonate, biotite, fe(hydr)oxides, secondarycarbonate (micromorphology) and illuvial clay. Future study may reject some of these propertiesand add others. The index works well with the loess-paleosol sequences.
