| 1 | The Role of Synapsins in Neurological Disorders显示文摘Synapsins serve as flagships among the presynaptic proteins due to their abundance on synaptic vesicles and contribution to synaptic communication. Several studies have emphasized the importance of this multi-gene family of neuron-specific phosphoproteins in maintaining brain physiology. In the recent times, increasing evidence has established the relevance of alterations in synapsins as a major determinant in many neurological disorders. Here,we give a comprehensive description of the diverse roles of the synapsin family and the underlying molecular mechanisms that contribute to several neurological disorders.These physiologically important roles of synapsins associated with neurological disorders are just beginning to be understood. | 2 | Acinar cell carcinoma of the pancreas in a young patient with chronic pancreatitis显示文摘BACKGROUND:Acinar cell carcinoma (ACC) is a rare malignancy of the pancreas arising from acinar cells.Unlike ductal adenocarcinoma,this tumor rarely presents with pancreatitis.METHODS:We present a case of ACC associated with chronic calcifying pancreatitis,and a review of the literature focusing on diagnosis and management.RESULTS:A 43-year-old man was proposed for Wirsungojejunal derivation for chronic pancreatitis.Histopathological examination of the tissue extracted revealed an ACC.Duodenopancreatectomy was performed.Six months postoperatively,the patient developed hepatic metastasis and was treated with gemcitabine as palliative chemotherapy.CONCLUSIONS:The clinical presentation of ACC of the pancreas is not specific and the tumor can be underdiagnosed when associated with chronic pancreatitis.Data regarding course,treatment,and prognosis of this tumor are generally lacking. | Fatima-Zahra Kebir Ahlem Lahmar Nafaa Arfa Saber Manai Mohamed Ali El Ouaer Saadia Bouraoui Carole Gouttalier Sabah Mezabi-Regaya | 2010 | Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2010，9，1： | 3 |

| 4 | Upper-and Lower-tropospheric Circulation Anomalies Associated with Interannual Variation of Pakistan Rainfall during Summer显示文摘This study investigated the large-scale circulation anomalies,in both the upper and lower troposphere,associated with the interannual variation of rainfall in Pakistan during summer,using the station observation data in this country and circulation data of the NCEP−NCAR reanalysis from 1981 to 2017.Results showed that the upper-and lower-tropospheric circulation anomalies associated with monthly rainfall variability exhibit similar features from June to August,so analyses were performed on June−August circulation and Pakistan rainfall data.The analyzed results indicated that summer rainfall in Pakistan is enhanced when there is an anticyclonic anomaly to the northwest of Pakistan in the upper troposphere and easterly anomalies along the southern foothills of the Himalayas in the lower troposphere,and vice versa.These upper-and lower-tropospheric circulation anomalies were found to be related,but show unique features.The upper-tropospheric anticyclonic anomaly is closely related to the Silk Road Pattern along the Asian westerly jet,while the lower-tropospheric easterly anomalies are related to the cyclonic anomaly to the south of Pakistan,i.e.,intensified South Asian monsoon trough.The results presented here suggest that the interannual variability of summer rainfall in Pakistan is a combined result of upper-and lower-tropospheric circulation anomalies,and of extratropical and tropical circulation anomalies. | Riyu LU Saadia HINA Xiaowei HONG | 2020 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020，37，11： | 2 |

| 15 | Maize Carbohydrate Partitioning Defective33 Encodes an MCTP Protein and Functions in Sucrose Export from Leaves显示文摘To sustain plant growth,development,and crop yield,sucrose must be transported from leaves to distant parts of the plant,such as seeds and roots.To identify genes that regulate sucrose accumulation and transport in maize(Zea mays),we isolated carbo/iydrafe part/f/ofi/ngf defecf/Ve33(cpd33),a recessive mutant that accumulated excess starch and soluble sugars in mature leaves.The cpd33 mutants also exhibited chlorosis in the leaf blades,greatly diminished plant growth,and reduced fertility.Cpd33 encodes a protein containing multiple C2 domains and transmembrane regions.Subcellular localization experiments showed the CPD33 protein localized to plasmodesmata(PD),the plasma membrane,and the endoplasmic reticulum.We also found that a loss-of-function mutant of the CPD33 homolog in Arabidopsis,QUIRKY,had a similar carbohydrate hyperaccumulation phenotype.Radioactively labeled sucrose transport assays showed that sucrose export was significantly lower in cpd33 mutant leaves relative to wild-type leaves.However,PD transport in the adaxial-abaxial direction was unaffected in cpd33 mutant leaves.Intriguingly,transmission electron microscopy revealed fewer PD at the companion cell-sieve element interface in mutant phloem tissue,providing a possible explanation for the reduced sucrose export in mutant leaves.Collectively,our results suggest that CPD33 functions to promote symplastic transport into sieve elements. | Thu M.Tran Tyler J.McCubbin Saadia Bihmidine Benjamin T.Julius R.Frank Baker Martin Schauflinger Clifford Weil Nathan Springer Paul Chomet Ruth Wagner Jeff Woessner Karen Grote Jeanette Peevers Thomas L.Slewinski David M.Braun | 2019 | Molecular Plant2019，12，9： | 1 |
