1石墨片对环氧树脂的热学、力学和电学性能影响(英文)显示文摘采用溶液技术制备出膨胀石墨增强环氧树脂复合材料。对石墨进行化学改性以提高与环氧树脂的相容性。采用XRD、FE-SEM和HR-TEM对环氧树脂/膨胀石墨复合材料进行表征。与环氧树脂相比,添加质量分数9%膨胀石墨后,该复合材料的热分解温度从340℃升高至480℃,抗张应力提高30%,导电率由10-15增加至10-5数量级。热学、力学和电学性能的显著提高,主要归因于膨胀石墨纳米片在环氧树脂基体中的良好分散性,从而可用于广泛的应用领域。Subhra Gantayat Gyanaranjan Prusty Dibya Ranjan Rout Sarat K Swain 2015新型炭材料2015,30,5:7
2Graphene sandwiched crumb rubber dispersed hot mix asphalt显示文摘The crumb rubber obtained from discarded vehicle tires and graphene oxide prepared by oxidation of graphite powder in laboratory were used to modify virgin bitumen. Four different hot mix asphalt matrices prepared using virgin bitumen, crumb rubber modified bitumen, graphene oxide modified bitumen and combination of crumb rubber-graphene oxide modified bitumen are compared. The modified bitumen matrices are characterised by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy for structural and morphological analysis. Marshall properties along with indirect tensile test and tensile strength ratio tests were carried out to check the resistance towards cracking and moisture susceptibility of matrices. The results show that, crumb rubber and graphene oxide are completely compatible with bitumen. 9.8% crumb rubber content in crumb rubber modified bitumen hot mix asphalt exhibits the optimum result. 4Estimating stock closing indices using a GA-weighted condensed polynomial neural network显示文摘Accurate forecasting of changes in stock market indices can provide financial managers and individual investors with strategically valuable information.However,predicting the closing prices of stock indices remains a challenging task because stock price movements are characterized by high volatility and nonlinearity.This paper proposes a novel condensed polynomial neural network(CPNN)for the task of forecasting stock closing price indices.We developed a model that uses partial descriptions(PDs)and is limited to only two layers for the PNN architecture.The outputs of these PDs along with the original features are fed to a single output neuron,and the synaptic weight values and biases of the CPNN are optimized by a genetic algorithm.The proposed model was evaluated by predicting the next day’s closing price of five fast-growing stock indices:the BSE,DJIA,NASDAQ,FTSE,and TAIEX.In comparative testing,the proposed model proved its ability to provide closing price predictions with superior accuracy.Further,the Deibold-Mariano test justified the statistical significance of the model,establishing that this approach can be adopted as a competent financial forecasting tool.Sarat Chandra Nayak Bijan Bihari Misra 2018Financial Innovation2018,4,1:3
5Management practices of hepatitis C virus infected alcoholic hepatitis patients:A survey of physicians显示文摘AIM:To survey gastroenterologists and hepatologists regarding their current views on treating hepatitis C virus(HCV) infected alcoholic hepatitis(AH) patients.METHODS:A sixteen item questionnaire was electronically mailed to gastroenterologists and hepatologists.A reminder was sent after 2 mo to increase the response rate.Participation of respondents was confidential.Accessing secured web site to respond to the questionnaire was considered as informed consent.Responses received on the secured website were downloaded in an excel sheet for data analysis.RESULTS:Analyzing 416 responses to 1556(27% response rate) emails,57% respondents(56% gastroenterologists) reported HCV prevalence > 20% amongst AH patients.Sixty nine percent often treated AH and 46% preferred corticosteroids(CS).Proportion of respondents with consensus(75% or more respondents agreeing on question) on specific management of HCV infected AH were:routine HCV testing(94%),HCV not changing response to CS(80%) or pentoxifylline(91%),no change in approach to treating HCV infected AH(75%).None of respondent variables:age,specialty,annual number of patients seen,and HCV prevalence could predict respondent to be in consensus on any of or all 4 questions.Further,only 4% would choose CS for treating HCV infected AH as opposed to 47% while treating HCV negative AH.CONCLUSION:Gastroenterologists and hepatologists believe that AH patients be routinely checked for HCV.However,there is lack of consensus on choice of drug for treatment and outcome of HCV positive AH patients.Studies are needed to develop guidelines for management of HCV infected AH patients.Ashwani K Singal Habeeb Salameh Anjna Singal Sarat C Jampana Daniel H Freeman Karl E Anderson Don Brunder 2013World Journal of Gastrointestinal Pharmacology and Therapeutics2013,4,2:2
6Pathogenesis of alcoholic hepatitis:Role of inflammatory signaling and oxidative stress显示文摘Inflammatory signaling and oxidative stress are two major components in the pathogenesis of alcoholic he-patitis.Alcohol consumption results in translocation of gut bacteria into the portal system along with lipopolysaccharides that interact with toll-like receptors and results in the production of inflammatory and immunogenic mediators such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and interferons.Chronic consumption of alcohol causes priming of this process in which there is enhanced production of cytokines,interferon,interleukins,and TNF-α.Oxidative stress,genetic predisposition,and the unfolded protein response are other contributory mechanisms.Novel therapies aimed at these pathways may prevent,decrease,or delay the complications of alcoholic hepatitis.Sarat C Jampana Rashid Khan 2011World Journal of Hepatology2011,3,5:2

16Thermal and Oxygen Barrier Properties of Chitosan Bionanocomposites by Reinforcement of Calcium Carbonate Nanopowder显示文摘Chitosan and calcium carbonate nanopowder(chitosan/CaCO_3) bionanocomposites were prepared by solution method.Interaction between chitosan and CaCO_3 was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR).Structure and surface morphology of chitosan/CaCO_3 bionanocomposites were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),respectively.The energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS) of chitosan/CaCO_3 bionanocomposites was studied in order to establish the elements of composition.Thermal stability of prepared bionanocomposites was studied by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and a substantial increase of thermal stability of virgin chitosan was noticed due to incorporation of CaCO_3 nanopowder.The oxygen permeability was reduced by three times as compared to the raw chitosan due to the dispersion of nano CaCO_3 filler.Biodegradability and resistance towards dilute acid and alkali of the prepared bionanocomposite were investigated.The bionanocomposite having gas barrier and thermal stable property may be suitable for packaging and biomedical applications.Sarat K.
