On the dielectric response function and dispersion relation in strongly coupled magnetized dusty plasmas显示文摘Using the generalized viscoelastic fluid model, we derive the dielectric response function in a strongly coupled dusty magnetoplasma which reveals two different dust acoustic(DA) wave modes in the hydrodynamic and kinetic limits. The effects of the strong interaction of dust grains and the external magnetic on these DA modes, as well as on the shear wave are examined. It is found that both the real and imaginary parts of DA waves are significantly modified in strongly coupled dusty magnetoplasmas. The implications of our results to space and laboratory dusty plasmas are briefly discussed.M Shahmansouri N Khodabakhshi 2018Chinese Physics B2018,27,10:1

Shock Structures in Charge Variable Dusty Plasmas with Effect of Strongly Coupled Dust Particles显示文摘A theoretical investigation has been carried out to study the effect of strong electrostatic interaction on the dust acoustic shock structures in strongly coupled dusty plasma with dust charge fluctuations. The fluid approach is employed,in which the strong electrostatic interaction is modeled by effective electrostatic temperature.A Burger-like equation, the coefficients of which are significantly modified by effects of strong coupling and dust charge Ructuation,is derived. It is shown that the combined effects of dust charge Ructuation, the ion/electron temperature, the ion/electron population, and strong coupling effect modify the basic properties of the dust acoustic waves in such a strongly coupled dusty plasma. The results of this work are compared with those observed by some laboratory experiments.Mehran Shahmansouri Bizhan Farokhi Hossein Ashouri 2015Communications in Theoretical Physics2015,63,3:0
Spherical Kadomtsev-Petviashvili Solitons in a Suprathermal Complex Plasma显示文摘The nonlinear aspects of nonplanar dust acoustic (DA) solitary waves are investigated in an unmagnetized complex plasma comprising of cold dust grains,kappa-distributed ions as well as electrons. The nonplanar DA solitons are studied based on the reductive perturbation technique. It is shown that the evolution of DA solitons is governed by a spherical Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (sKP) equation and then the impact of suprathermality on the spatial structure as well as the nature of DA soliton is studied. It seems that the properties of DA solitons in nonplanar geometry are quite different from that of the planar solitons.Mehran Shahmansouri Jafar Borhanian 2013Communications in Theoretical Physics2013,60,8:0
Suprathermality Effects on Propagation Properties of Ion Acoustic Waves显示文摘A theoretical investigation is carried out to understand the basic features of ion-acoustic(IA)waves in an unmagnetised plasmas including cool ions, hot ions having a kappa distribution and kappa-distributed electrons, using small amplitude techniques. The effects of excess suprathermal ions, the ion temperature T_(i) and electron temperature T_(e) as well as the density ratio on the IA waves are studied. It is found that the suprathermality effects play an important role in the system,as the geometric characteristics of the IA solitons are found to be significantly affected through the ion and electron suprathermal index. In the presence of suprathermality effects, either polarity is in principle supported by this plasma model.Mehran Shahmansouri 2012Chinese Physics Letters2012,29,10:0
Surface plasmon oscillations in a semi-bounded semiconductor plasma显示文摘We study the dispersion properties of surface plasmon(SP) oscillations in a semi-bounded semiconductor plasma with the effects of the Coulomb exchange(CE) force associated with the spin polarization of electrons and holes as well as the effects of the Fermi degenerate pressure and the quantum Bohm potential.Starting from a quantum hydrodynamic model coupled to the Poisson equation,we derive the general dispersion relation for surface plasma waves.Previous results in this context are recovered. The dispersion properties of the surface waves are analyzed in some particular cases of interest and the relative influence of the quantum forces on these waves are also studied for a nano-sized Ga As semiconductor plasma. It is found that the CE effects significantly modify the behaviors of the SP waves. The present results are applicable to understand the propagation characteristics of surface waves in solid density plasmas.M SHAHMANSOURI A P MISRA 2018Plasma Science and Technology2018,20,2:0
Boundary graphene layer effect on surface plasmon oscillations in a quantum plasma half-space显示文摘The effect of graphene on unique features of surface plasmon-polariton excitations near the interface of vacuum and quantum plasma half-space is explored using a quantum hydrodynamic model including the Fermi electron temperature and the quantum Bohm potential together with the full set of Maxwell equations. It is found that graphene as a conductive layer significantly modifies the propagation properties of surface waves by making a change on the corresponding wave dispersion relation. It is shown that the presence of graphene layer on the interface of vacuum and plasma leads to a blue-shift in the surface Plasmon frequency. The results of present study must be contributed to the modern electronic investigations.Raheleh Aboltaman Mehran Shahmansouri 2020Communications in Theoretical Physics2020,72,4:0
Large Amplitude Dust Ion Acoustic Solitons and Double Layers in Dusty Plasmas with Ion Streaming and High-Energy Tail Electron Distribution显示文摘Large amplitude dust ion acoustic(DIA) solitons as well as double layers(DLs) are studied in a dusty plasma having a high-energy-tail electron distribution. The influence of electron deviation from the Maxwellian distribution and ion streaming on the existence domain of solitons is discussed in the(M, f) space using the pseudo-potential approach. It is found that in the presence of streaming ions and for a fixed f, solitons may appear for larger values of M. This means that in the presence of ion streaming, high values of the Mach number are needed to have soliton. The DIA solitary waves profile is highly sensitive to the ion streaming speed. Their amplitude is found to decrease with an increase of the ion streaming speed. In addition, we find that the ion streaming effect may lead to the appearance of double layers. The results of this article should be useful in understanding the basic nonlinear features of DIA waves propagating in space dusty plasmas, especially those including a relative motion between species, such as comet tails and solar wind streams, etc.Mehran Shahmansouri Mouloud Tribeche 2014Communications in Theoretical Physics2014,61,3:0
