| 1 | Kinetic studies of the oxidative coupling of methane over the Mn/Na_2WO_4/SiO_2 catalyst显示文摘Oxidative coupling of methane is a direct way to obtain C2 hydrocarbon, and Mn-Na-W/SiO2 catalyst is the most promising among all the catalysts. The 2%Mn/5%Na2WO4/SiO2 catalyst was prepared by the incipient wetness impregnation method. A 7-step heterogeneous reaction model of the oxidative coupling of methane to C2 hydrocarbons was conducted by co-feeding methane and oxygen at a total pressure of 1 bar over the catalyst. The kinetic measurements were carried out in a micro-catalytic fixed bed reactor. | 2 | GIS-based method for detecting high-crash-risk road segments using network kernel density estimation显示文摘Identifying high-crash-risk road segments provides safety specialists with an insight to better understanding of crash patterns and enhancing road safety management.The common hotspot identification methods are not robust enough to visualize the underlying shape of crash patterns since they neglect the spatial properties of crash data.Spatial traffic accidents have the tendency to be dependent,a phenomenon known as spatial autocorrelation.Values over distance are more or less similar than expected for randomly associated observations.Modeling the spatial variations can properly be explained in terms of first-and second-order properties.The first-order properties,describe the way of varying the expected value of point pattern in space which can be due to changes in the substantial properties of the local environment,while second-order effects describe the interactive effects of events explaining on how the events are interacted.Considering the discrete nature of crash data and the limited access to exact locations where crashes occur,it is likely that a continuous surface drawn from discrete points will better reflect crash density,present a more realistic picture of crash distribution.Network kernel density estimation(NKDE)is a nonparametric approach for events distributed over one-dimensional space which facilitates estimating the density at any location in the study region not just at the location where the event occurs.NKDE for road safety applications enables the extraction and visualization of crash density along roadways The application of suggested method was illustrated for Arak-Khomein rural road in Markazi province,Iran and the stability of hazardous segments by examining the resulted network estimated density during the three years of study(2006–2008)was investigated.The result of this paper helps the traffic engineers and safety specialists to determine the segments which demand more safety attentions from both transportation authorities and drivers and request assigning the resources such as budget and time. | Afshin Shariat MOHAYMANY Matin SHAHRI Babak MIRBAGHERI | 2013 | Geo-Spatial Information Science2013,16,2: | 5 |

| 5 | Ce-promoted Mn/Na_2 WO_4/SiO_2 catalyst for oxidative coupling of methane at atmospheric pressure显示文摘A series of Ce-promoted Mn-Na2WO4/SiO2 catalysts were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation method, and their catalytic performance for oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) was investigated at atmospheric pressure in a micro-quartz-tube reactor. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature program reduction (TPR) and BET surface area. Ce promoter increased surface area and Na2WO4 species dispersion, which enriched the amount of the surface species. In addition, Ce promoter increased the Na/W species reduction, but the reduction peak shifted to higher temperature. Stability test of 5wt%Ce catalyst indicated suitable performance and stability. | 6 | Deactivation studies of bifunctional Fe-HZSM5 catalyst in Fischer-Tropsch process显示文摘A physical mixture of alkali-promoted iron catalyst with binder based on Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and an acidic co-catalyst (HZSM5) for syngas conversion to hydrocarbons was studied in a fixed bed micro reactor. Deactivation data were obtained during the synthesis over a 1400 h period. The deactivation studies on iron catalyst showed that this trend followed the phase transformation Fe2.2C ( ε′) → Fe5C2 (χ) → Fe3C (θ), and the final predominant phase of the catalyst was Fe3C (θ). Deactivation of zeolite component in bifunctional catalyst may be caused by coking over the zeolitic component, dealumination of zeolite crystals, and migration of alkali promoters from iron catalyst under synthesis conditions.
