| 1 | Chemical composition and in vitro fermentation characteristics of high sugar forage sorghum as an alternative to forage maize for silage making in Tarim Basin, China显示文摘The chemical composition, mineral profile and in vitro fermentation characteristics of maize(MZ), high sugar forage sorghum(HS) and forage sorghum(FS), and silages made from each forage type were measured. The MZ and MZ silage(MZS) had higher crude protein, starch and ether extract contents than both sorghum forages and sorghum silages. HS had higher ash and water-soluble carbohydrate concentrations than FS and MZ. MZ, MZS, HS and HS silage(HSS) had lower neutral detergent fibre, acid detergent fibre and acid detergent lignin than FS and FS silage(FSS). FSS had higher dry matter(DM) and p H than MZS and HSS. HSS contained higher concentrations of P and K than FSS and MZS. MZS and HSS had higher in vitro dry matter and organic matter digestibility, CH4 production, total volatile fatty acids, acetate and propionate than FSS. p H was higher for FSS than for HSS, and ammonia was lower for HSS than for MZS and FSS. HSS had higher gas production than MZS and FSS after 2, 4, 6 and 8 h incubation. MZS had higher gas production than HSS and FSS after 26 and 28 h of incubation. The results indicate that HS may substitute for MZ to make good quality silage. | 2 | 农田土壤中氮的环境指标研究显示文摘氮肥的大量不合理施用使农田氮素成了农业面源污染的重要因子,然而关于农田氮素对环境污染的标准并没有系统的介绍。笔者分别从农田土壤氮素盈余、农田径流总氮、铵态氮、硝态氮等方面着手,介绍农田土壤中氮对环境产生的影响。土壤中氮素富集会加大农田土壤氮流失至水体的风险和数量。农田生态系统中氮素通过氨挥发、地表径流、下渗淋失等进入到环境,其盈余主要以气态、可溶态等形态对环境造成污染。综述国内外相关研究得到:农田径流损失的氮以可溶态为主,其中水稻田面水氮浓度超过30 mg/L会促使土壤矿质态氮部分释放,增加土壤溶液中矿质态氮含量,增加农田土壤氮流失风险;土壤无机N含量达到60 mg/kg时能满足作物的正常生长,超过此值,N素流失风险增加,多余的土壤NO3-N将会引起较大的环境风险。化肥使用量控制在150~180 kg/(hm^2·a)之内,可以有效控制化肥氮的损失污染。土壤氮素盈余、农田径流总氮、铵态氮、硝态氮等可作为农田土壤中氮的环境指标。 | 田艳 马友华 胡宏祥 吴蔚君 徐云连 赵学敏 龚娟 Awais Shakoor | 2017 | 中国农学通报2017,33,7: | 12 |

| 4 | Phyto-Toxicity of Chromium in Maize: Oxidative Damage, Osmolyte Accumulation, Anti-Oxidative Defense and Chromium Uptake显示文摘Agricultural production systems are immensely exposed to different environmental stresses in which heavy metal stress receives serious concerns. This study was conducted to explore the deleterious effects of different chromium(Cr) stress levels, i.e., 0, 30, 6090, 120, and 150 μmol L-1, on two maize genotypes, Wandan 13 and Runnong 35. Both genotypes were evaluated by measuring their growth and yield characteristics, Cr accumulation in different plant tissues, alterations in osmolyte accumulation, generation o reactive oxygen species(ROS), and anti-oxidative enzyme activity to scavenge ROS. The results showed that Cr stress decreased the leaf area, cob formation, 100-grain weight, shoot fresh biomass, and yield formation, while Cr accumulation in different maize tissues was found in the order of roots > leaves > stem > seeds in both genotypes. The increased Cr toxicity resulted in higher free proline soluble sugars and total phenolic contents, and lower soluble protein contents. However, enhanced lipid peroxidation was noticed in the forms of malondialdehyde, hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) and thiobarbituric acid reactive substance accumulation, and electrolyte leakage. The hyperactivity of superoxide dismutase, peroxidase, catalase, ascorbate peroxidase, especially glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase indicated that these anti-oxidative enzymes had a central role in protecting maize from Cr toxicity, especially for Wandan 13. | 5 | Enhanced performance of nano-sized SiC reinforced Al metal matrix nanocomposites synthesized through microwave sintering and hot extrusion techniques显示文摘In the present study, nano-sized SiC(0, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 vol%) reinforced aluminum(Al) metal matrix composites were fabricated by microwave sintering and hot extrusion techniques. The structural(XRD, SEM),mechanical(nanoindentation, compression, tensile) and thermal properties(co-efficient of thermal expansionCTE) of the developed Al-SiC nanocomposites were studied. The SEM/EDS mapping images show a homogeneous distribution of SiC nanoparticles into the Al matrix. A significant increase in the strength(compressive and tensile) of the Al-SiC nanocomposites with the addition of SiC content is observed. However,it is noticed that the ductility of Al-SiC nanocomposites decreases with increasing volume fraction of SiC. The thermal analysis indicates that CTE of Al-SiC nanocomposites decreases with the progressive addition of hard SiC nanoparticles. | 6 | Role of artificial tears with and without hyaluronic acid in controlling ocular discomfort following PRK: a randomized clinical trial显示文摘AIM:To compare outcomes of applying preservative free artificial tears(PFAT)with and without hyaluronic acid(HA)in early postoperative course following photorefractive keratectomy(PRK).METHODS:In this triple-blinded randomized clinical trial,PRK procedure was performed on both eyes of 230 patients.Following PRK,patients were divided into three groups:the HA^(+)group,44 patients PFAT containing HA;the HA-group,71 patients PFAT without HA were administered 5 times per day(every 4 h);the third group,115 patients received no PFAT before lens removal.On the 1st and 4th postoperative day,Visual Analogue Score(VAS)was utilized to evaluate patient’s level of pain.Participants were asked to complete a questionnaire about the severity of eye discomfort ranked from 0 to 10(0=no complaint;10=most severe complaint experienced).RESULTS:In eyes receiving PFAT with or without HA(Drop group),mean scores for epiphora,foreign body sensation,and blurred vision on the 1st postoperative day were statistically lower(P<0.05).Filamentous keratitis(FK)was detected in 11(4.7%)eyes,and recurrent corneal erosion(RCE)was observed in 5(2.1%)eyes.In the control group,FK was noted in 16(6.9%)eyes while 13(5.6%)eyes had RCE and 5(2.1%)eyes had corneal haze.The rate of complications was statistically lower in Drop group(P=0.009).However,the aforementioned scores were not statically different between HA^(+)and HA-group one and two(P=0.29).CONCLUSION:Following PRK,applying PFAT with and without HA yields faster visual recovery,decreases postoperative ocular discomfor t and haze formation;however there is no additive effect for HA. | Mehrdad Mohammadpour Masoud Khorrami-Nejad Delaram Shakoor | 2021 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2021,14,8: | 2 |
