1Effect of myosin heavy chain composition of muscles on meat quality in Laiwu pigs and Duroc显示文摘In order to explain the mechanism of high meat quality in Laiwu pigs and investigate the relation between myosin heavy chains (MyHC) composition and meat quality, meat quality analysis was conducted and mRNA expression of MyHC I, IIa, IIx, IIb was quantified by real-time fluorescence PCR in longissimus muscle (LM) and semimembranous muscle of Laiwu pigs and Duroc. The result indicated that, compared with Duroc, mRNA expression of MyHC IIa, IIx in LM and semimembranous muscle of Laiwu pigs was significantly increased, mRNA expression of MyHC IIb was dramatically decreased. However, the expression of MyHC I was not significantly affected by breeds. The correlation between mRNA expression of MyHC I, IIa, IIx in LM and meat color, pH value, marbling, intramuscular fat content was positive, but shear value of LM was negative. The relation between MyHC IIb mRNA expression and marbling, intramuscular fat content was dramatically negative, whereas shear value was strikingly positive, as well as fiber diameter, but without reaching statistical significance. 3A maximum principle for partially observed optimal control of forward-backward stochastic control systems显示文摘This paper studies an optimal control problem for partially observed forward-backward stochastic control system with a convex control domain and the forward diffusion term containing control variable. A maximum principle is proved for this kind of partially observable optimal control problems and the corresponding adjoint processes are characterized by the solutions of certain forward-backward stochastic differential equations in finite-dimensional spaces. One partially observed recursive linear-quadratic (LQ) optimal control example is also given to show the application of the obtained maximum principle. 7Radiomic features from computed tomography to differentiate invasive pulmonary adenocarcinomas from non-invasive pulmonary adenocarcinomas appearing as part-solid groundglass nodules显示文摘Objective:We aim to investigate radiomic imaging features extracted in computed tomography(CT)images to differentiate invasive pulmonary adenocarcinomas(IPAs)from non-IPAs appearing as part-solid ground-glass nodules(GGNs),and to incorporate significant radiomic features with other clinically-assessed features to develop a diagnostic nomogram model for IPAs.Methods:This retrospective study was performed,with Institutional Review Board approval,on 88 patients with a total of 100 part-solid nodules(56 IPAs and 44 non-IPAs)that were surgically confirmed between February 2014and November 2016 in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University.Quantitative radiomic features were computed automatically on 3D nodule volume segmented from arterial-phase contrast-enhanced CT images.A set of regular risk factors and visually-assessed qualitative CT imaging features were compared with the radiomic features using logistic regression analysis.Three diagnostic models,i.e.,a basis model using the clinical factors and qualitative CT features,a radiomics model using significant radiomic features,and a nomogram model combining all significant features,were built and compared in terms of receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves.Decision curve analysis was performed for the nomogram model to explore its potential clinical benefit.Results:In addition to three visually-assessed qualitative imaging features,another three quantitative features selected from hundreds of radiomic features were found to be significantly(all P<0.05)associated with IPAs.The diagnostic nomogram model showed a significantly higher performance[area under the ROC curve(AUC)=0.903]in differentiating IPAs from non-IPAs than either the basis model(AUC=0.853,P=0.0009)or the radiomics model(AUC=0.769,P<0.0001).Decision curve analysis indicates a potential benefit of using such a nomogram model in clinical diagnosis.Conclusions:Quantitative radiomic features provide additional information over clinically-assessed qualitative features for differentiating IPAs from non-IPAs appearing as GGNs,and a diagnostic nomogram model including all these significant features may be clinically useful in preoperative strategy planning.Ting Luo Ke Xu Zheng Zhang Lina Zhang Shandong Wu 2019Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,2:8
8Storage Assignment Optimization in a Multi-tier Shuttle Warehousing System显示文摘The current mathematical models for the storage assignment problem are generally established based on the traveling salesman problem(TSP),which has been widely applied in the conventional automated storage and retrieval system(AS/RS).However,the previous mathematical models in conventional AS/RS do not match multi-tier shuttle warehousing systems(MSWS) because the characteristics of parallel retrieval in multiple tiers and progressive vertical movement destroy the foundation of TSP.In this study,a two-stage open queuing network model in which shuttles and a lift are regarded as servers at different stages is proposed to analyze system performance in the terms of shuttle waiting period(SWP) and lift idle period(LIP) during transaction cycle time.A mean arrival time difference matrix for pairwise stock keeping units(SKUs) is presented to determine the mean waiting time and queue length to optimize the storage assignment problem on the basis of SKU correlation.The decomposition method is applied to analyze the interactions among outbound task time,SWP,and LIP.The ant colony clustering algorithm is designed to determine storage partitions using clustering items.In addition,goods are assigned for storage according to the rearranging permutation and the combination of storage partitions in a 2D plane.This combination is derived based on the analysis results of the queuing network model and on three basic principles.The storage assignment method and its entire optimization algorithm method as applied in a MSWS are verified through a practical engineering project conducted in the tobacco industry.The applying results show that the total SWP and LIP can be reduced effectively to improve the utilization rates of all devices and to increase the throughput of the distribution center.WANG Yanyan MOU Shandong WU Yaohua 2016Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2016,29,2:8

11Polymorphisms in the 5 ′ regulatory region of my-ostatin gene are associated with early growth traits in Yorkshire pigs显示文摘Myostatin is a negative regulator of skeletal muscle mass. The present study cloned the 5′ regulatory region of porcine myostatin gene, screened its polymorphisms and analyzed their associations with early growth traits in Yorkshire pigs. The results indicated that a fragment length polymorphism and a polymorphism concerning two nucleotide changes exist in the 5′ regulatory region of porcine my-ostatin gene. At sites 435 and 447, allele A and allele B have the haplotypes of A-G and G-A, respec-tively. The allelic frequency of B is 0.475 in Yorkshire pigs. No homozygous BB genotype was detected in 9 Laiwu Black pigs. Allele B was found to have positive effect on body weight on day 21 (BW21) (P<0.01), body weight on day 28 (BW28) (P<0.05), body weight on day 70 (BW70) (P<0.05), average daily gain from birth to 21 d (ADG1) (P<0.01), average daily gain from birth to 28 d (ADG2) (P<0.05) and av-erage daily gain from 21 d to 70 d (ADG3) (P<0.01), respectively. 14Efficacy of intra-tumor injection of Xiao-Zhi-Ling on transplanted hepatoma in rats显示文摘AIM: To study the therapeutic effectiveness of intra-tumorinjection of Xiao-Zhi-Ling(XZL) on transplanted hepatomain rats.METHODS: Sixty rats were divided into 3 groups (groupsS, X and E), 20 in each. Different drugs were injected intothe implanted hepatoma (Group S with 0.2 mi saline ascontrol, group X with 0.2 mi XZL, group E with 0.2 miethanol). After 3 days and 8 days respectively, we detectedthe hepatoma volume (HV), the level of albumin, alanineaminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST)and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in serum, and the expressionof proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in hepatoma.RESULTS: The results were obtained after 3 days, the HVsin groups X and E were smaller than those in group S (groupX vs S P=0.010*, group Evs S P=0.002*, P<0.05). Thelevels of ALT and AST in group S and X were lower thanthose in group E (ALT Group S vs E P=0.019*, group X vsEP=0.003*, P<0.05; AST group X vs E P=0.002*, P<0.05).The levels of ALP and PCNA labeling index in group X werelower than those in group S and E (ALP group X vs SP=0.000*, group X vs E P=0.000*. P<0.05; PCNA group XvsS P=0.008*, group X vsE P=0.048*, P<0.05). The levelsof creatinine in group S were lower than those in group E(group S vs E P=0.017, P<0.05). The degree of tumornecrosis in group S was lower than those in groups X and E(group S vsX P=0.006*, group S vs E P=0.006*, P<0.05).After 8 days, the HVs in groups X and E were smaller thanthose in group S (group X vs S P=0.007*, group Evs SP=0.004*, P<0.05). The difference of HVs between groupsX and E was not significant. The levels of albumin, ALT, ASTand creatinine in group X were not higher than those inother groups, the levels of ALP and PCNA in group X werelower than those in groups S and E (ALP group X vs EP=0.006* P<0.05; PCNA group X vsS P=0.044*, group Xvs E P=0.021*, P<0.05). The degree of tumor necrosis ingroup S was lower than that in groups X and E (group S vsX P=0.001*, group S vs E P=0.002*, P<0.05).CONCLUSION: The therapeutic effectiveness of intra-tumorinjection of XZL and ethanol on implanted hepatoma isobvious, but the toxicity of XZL on liver function is markedlylower than that of group E, at the same time XZL can inhibitthe growth of tumor. 15Determination of the Number of SSR Alleles Necessary for the Analysis of Genetic Relationships Between Maize Inbred Lines显示文摘The amount of molecular marker information has considerable impact on the results of studies of crop germplasm genetic relationships in crop. The number of alleles required to reveal genetic relationship in maize inbred lines is a theoretical issue that needs to be addressed. In this study, 112 pairs of SSR (simple sequence repeat) primers and 97 maize inbred lines were selected to study the relationship between the number of inbred lines and the number of SSR primers and alleles required for a stable cluster. The results showed that the number of SSR primers is not tightly associated with the stability of the cluster analysis results, while an increase in the number of alleles can significantly improve the stability of cluster analysis results. The number of inbred lines (X) is significantly associated with the number of alleles required for stable cluster analysis (Y), and the regression equation is Y= 600.8×e(-15.9/x). This equation can be used to calculate the number of SSR alleles required for a genetic relationship study of maize inbred lines. 16Coherence-enhancing line drawing for color images显示文摘Line drawing plays an important role in many image-based non-photorealistic applications.However,most existing approaches use a grayscale edge detector for line extraction,so that only luminance diferences between nearby image pixels is taken into account,but the chrominance diferences is ignored.This leads to the undesirable consequence that visually signifcant edges in adjacent regions with diferent colors of similar luminance cannot be detected.To address this limitation,we present a novel enhanced line drawing method based on a flow-based diference-of-Gaussians(FDoG)flter.Because of an inherent property of the thresholded DoG edge model,captured lines may appear dislodged from the true edges in the image.To this end,we provide a gradient-guided warping technique so that smooth and coherent lines can be extracted in the correct location.The GPU implementation of the proposed algorithms allows real-time performance,and experimental examples with various color images demonstrate the method’s superior qualitative performance over previous approaches.WANG ShanDong MA ZiYang LIU XueHui CHEN YanYun WU EnHua 2013Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,11:2

19Genetic Diversity of Recurrent Selection Populations with Ms2 Gene Assessed by Gliadins in Common Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)显示文摘The male-sterile lines with Ms2 gene were highly evaluated in recurrent selection in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Three populations C6 (population after six cycles of selection), C7 (population after seven cycles of selection), and C8 (population after eight cycles of selection) were constructed through recurrent selection with 12 parental materials (P). Acid polyacrymide gel electrophoresis (A-PAGE) analysis was used to identify gliadin patterns and evaluate the genetic diversity in 12 parents and three populations. A total of 63 bands were identified, of which 17 polymorphic bands and 7 unique bands were present in populations and seven polymorphic bands and four unique bands were present in parents. The number of polymorphic and unique bands decreased gradually from C6 to C8, especially for ω- and γ-gliadins. The genetic distances in C6, C7, and C8 were calculated. The distributions of genetic distance were different in three recurrent selection populations. From C6 to C8, the genetic distance was 0.2687, 0.2652 and 0.1987, respectively. Statistically significant differences were detected between C7 and C8 with the T value of 37.9718. The result of cluster analysis based on genetic similarity matrix of three populations fitted well to those of principle coordinates analysis (PCoA). Compared with 12 parents, almost all individuals of three populations are new genotypes. Most of the individuals from C6 and C7 could be divided into two groups, while most individuals of C8 were in one cluster. In conclusion, the results indicated that the genetic diversity was decreased severely according to the information revealed by A-PAGE, although some variations could be created in the recurrent selection. 20Floating Population Increase and Its Influence on the Urban Population Situation:A Case Study in Beijing显示文摘Floating population is a special population group in China resulting from the implementation of household registration system. This paper uses a set of floating population survey data, population censuses data and statistical data to analyze the increase and influence of floating population on the urban population situations in Beijing. It is found that Beijing has experienced a rapid increase of floating population since the 1990s and that the increase of this group has become the key factor of the current population expansion in the city. Its distribution in the urban regions intensified and extended the suburbanization process of the capital.
