The ICP etching conditions were optimized and the relationship among etching depth, duty ratio and side-mode suppression ratio(SMSR) was studied. | 7 | Ultrathin lead-free double perovskite cesium silver bismuth bromide nanosheets显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) lead halide perovskites nanostructures have drawn great fundamental interest and displayed excellent properties for various optoelectronic applications. However, the toxicity of lead remains a concern for their large-scale utilizations. Bismuth halide double perovskites stand out as a class of promising candidates for lead-free halide perovskites. In this work, we demonstrate the first synthesis of lead-free 2D halide double perovskite nanosheets. The synthesized Cs2AgBiBr6 nanosheets exhibited thicknesses in the range of 3–5 nm and lateral dimensions of ∼ 200 nm. The nanosheets showed a strong absorption peak centered at ∼ 430 nm and the photoluminescence emission observed at ∼ 630 nm. We also explored dimensionality control from zero-dimensional nanocubes to 2D nanosheets and investigated the preferential growth of Cs2AgBiBr6 over other related compounds such as Cs3Bi2Br9 and CsAgBr2. | 10 | Protective effects of Longhu Rendan on chronic liver injury and fibrosis in mice显示文摘Background and aim:Liver fibrosis resulting from persistent liver injury represents a major healthcare problem globally.Traditional Chinese medicine has played an essential role in the treatment of liver fibrosis in recent years.Thus,this study aims to assess the effect of Longhu Rendan(LHRD),a Chinese traditional patent medicine,on liver fibrosis and its potential mechanism.Methods:The liver fibrosis in mice was induced via the intraperitoneal injection of carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)for 6 weeks or bile duct ligation for 15 days.Various methods were used to judge the therapeutic effect of LHRD.Results:LHRD significantly suppressed the activity of serum index of abnormal liver function,liver cell apoptosis,and necrosis,attenuating liver injury.Moreover,LHRD treatment alleviated liver fibrotic features,such as the reduction of collagen deposition and hepatic stellate cell activation as well as profibrotic gene expression.Mechanistically,LHRD treatment inhibited nuclear transcription factorkappa B signaling and inflammatory gene expression and diminished the production of reactive oxygen species and 4-hydroxynonenal,along with the downregulation of NADPH oxidase 4.Conclusions:Overall,the present study demonstrates that LHRD ameliorates liver injury and fibrosis via the inhibition of inflammation and oxidative stress in mice,indicating that LHRD is a potential medicine for the treatment of liver fibrosis. | Guizhi Yang Shengwen Li Jiahua Jin Yuanyuan Xuan Liqin Ding Minxia Huang Jun Liu Biye Wang Tian Lan | 2022 | Liver Research2022,6,2: | 0 |
| 11 | Dynamic response of mountain tunnel,bridge,and embankment along the Sichuan-Tibet transportation corridor to active fault based on model tests显示文摘The Sichuan-Tibet transportation corridor is prone to numerous active faults and frequent strong earthquakes.While extensive studies have individually explored the effect of active faults and strong earthquakes on different engineering structures,their combined effect remains unclear.This research employed multiple physical model tests to investigate the dynamic response of various engineering structures,including tunnels,bridges,and embankments,under the simultaneous influence of cumulative earthquakes and stick-slip misalignment of an active fault.The prototype selected for this study was the Kanding No.2 tunnel,which crosses the Yunongxi fault zone within the Sichuan-Tibet transportation corridor.The results demonstrated that the tunnel,bridge,and embankment exhibited amplification in response to the input seismic wave,with the amplification effect gradually decreasing as the input peak ground acceleration(PGA)increased.The PGAs of different engineering structures were weakened by the fault rupture zone.Nevertheless,the misalignment of the active fault may decrease the overall stiffness of the engineering structure,leading to more severe damage,with a small contribution from seismic vibration.Additionally,the seismic vibration effect might be enlarged with the height of the engineering structure,and the tunnel is supposed to have a smaller PGA and lower dynamic earth pressure compared to bridges and embankments in strong earthquake zones crossing active faults.The findings contribute valuable insights for evaluating the dynamic response of various engineering structures crossing an active fault and provide an experimental reference for secure engineering design in the challenging conditions of the Sichuan-Tibet transportation corridor. | HUANG Beixiu QIAO Sijia CHEN Xulei LI Lihui QI Shengwen | 2024 | Journal of Mountain Science2024,21,1: | 0 |
| 12 | Investigation on the Deformation and Failure Patterns of Loess Cut Slope Based on the Unsaturated Triaxial Test in Yan'an,China显示文摘The large-scale implementation of the Gully Stabilization and Land Reclamation(GSLR)project induces various failures of loess slopes due to excavation in Yan'an,China.However,the deformation and failure behavior of these excavated loess slopes have not been fully understood.In this study,field investigation was undertaken for analyzing the distributions and failure features of excavation-induced loess slope failures.It is found that plastic failure mainly occurs in Q_(3) loess layers and brittle failure in Q_(2).To understand the underlying failure mechanism,a series of triaxial shear tests were conducted on intact Q_(3) and Q_(2) loess samples that with different water contents,namely natural water content(natural),dry side of the natural value(drying 5%),and wet side(wetting 5%).The characteristics of stress-strain curves and failure modes of the samples were analyzed.Results show that the stress-strain curves of Q_(2) samples are dominated by strain-softening characteristics,while Q_(3) samples mainly exhibit strain-harden features except in the drying state.Correspondingly,shear failures of Q_(3) specimens are mainly caused by shear crack planes(single,X or V-shaped).For Q_(2) loess,the dominance of tensile cracks is observed on the surface of damaged specimens.These disclose the different failure modes of excavated slopes located in different strata,that is,the arc sliding failure of Q_(3) loess slopes and the stepped tensile failure of Q_(2) loess slopes,and are helpful in the design and management of the ongoing GSLR projects in the Loess Plateau. | Lina Ma Shengwen Qi Songfeng Guo Qiangbing Huang Xiaokun Hou | 2024 | Journal of Earth Science2024,35,1: | 0 |
