| 1 | Real-time fault detection method based on belief rule base for aircraft navigation system显示文摘Real-time and accurate fault detection is essential to enhance the aircraft navigation system's reliability and safety. The existent detection methods based on analytical model draws back at simultaneously detecting gradual and sudden faults. On account of this reason, we propose an online detection solution based on non-analytical model. In this article, the navigation system fault detection model is established based on belief rule base (BRB), where the system measuring residual and its changing rate are used as the inputs of BRB model and the fault detection function as the output. To overcome the drawbacks of current parameter optimization algorithms for BRB and achieve online update, a parameter recursive estimation algorithm is presented for online BRB detection model based on expectation maximization (EM) algorithm. Furthermore, the proposed method is verified by navigation experiment. Experimental results show that the proposed method is able to effectively realize online parameter evaluation in navigation system fault detection model. The output of the detection model can track the fault state very well, and the faults can be diagnosed in real time and accurately. | 2 | A case study of development and application of a streamlined control and response modeling system for PM_(2.5)attainment assessment in China显示文摘This article describes the development and application of a streamlined air control and response modeling system with a novel response surface modeling-linear coupled fitting method and a new module to provide streamlined model data for PM_(2.5) attainment assessment in China.This method is capable of significantly reducing the dimensions required to establish a response surface model,as well as capturing more realistic response of PM_(2.5) to emission changes with a limited number of model simulations.The newly developed module establishes a data link between the system and the Software for Model Attainment Test—Community Edition(SMAT-CE),and has the ability to rapidly provide model responses to emission control scenarios for SMAT-CE using a simple interface.The performance of this streamlined system is demonstrated through a case study of the Yangtze River Delta(YRD) in China.Our results show that this system is capable of reproducing the Community Multi-Scale Air Quality(CMAQ) model simulation results with maximum mean normalized error < 3.5%.It is also demonstrated that primary emissions make a major contribution to ambient levels of PM_(2.5) in January and August(e.g.,more than50%contributed by primary emissions in Shanghai),and Shanghai needs to have regional emission control both locally and in its neighboring provinces to meet China's annual PM_(2.5)National Ambient Air Quality Standard.The streamlined system provides a real-time control/response assessment to identify the contributions of major emission sources to ambient PM_(2.5)(and potentially O_3 as well) and streamline air quality data for SMAT-CE to perform attainment assessments. | Shicheng Long Yun Zhu Carey Jang Che-Jen Lin Shuxiao Wang Bin Zhao Jian Gao Shuang Deng Junping Xie Xuezhen Qiu | 2016 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,3: | 9 |
| 3 | High-throughput droplet microfluidic synthesis of hierarchical metal-organic framework nanosheet microcapsules显示文摘Using two-dimensional(2D)metal-organic framework(MOF)nanosheets as new building blocks to create more complex architectures at the mesoscopic/macroscopic scale has attracted extensive interest in recent years.Nevertheless,it remains a great challenge to assemble MOF nanosheets into hierarchical hollow structures so far.In this paper,we describe a successful example of hierarchical MOF nanosheet microcapsules,with precisely controlled sizes,produced on large scale within minutes with a continuous droplet microfluidic strategy.Following a reaction/diffusion growth mechanism,the microcapsule shells feature a continuous smooth inner layer and a porous outer layer.Such hierarchical structure enables the encapsulation of magnetite nanoparticles inside and loading of dense gold nanoparticles outside the microcapsules,which exhibit highly efficient heterogeneous catalytic activity and easy recyclability.The present microfluidic assembly method offers a new pathway for preparing hierarchical MOF nanosheet structures,with the potential for extension to the formation of other 2D nanosheets in general. | Songting Wu Zhong Xin Shicheng Zhao Shengtong Sun | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,11: | 6 |

| 6 | Essential role of Msx1 in regulating anterior-posterior patterning of the secondary palate in mice显示文摘Development of the secondary palate displays molecular heterogeneity along the anterior-posterior axis;however, the underlying molecular mechanism remains largely unknown. MSX1 is an anteriorly expressed transcription repressor required for palate development. Here, we investigate the role of Msx1 in regional patterning of the secondary palate. The Wnt1-Cre-mediated expression of Msx1(Rosa Msx1^(Wnt1-Cre))throughout the palatal mesenchyme leads to cleft palate in mice, associated with aberrant cell proliferation and cell death. Osteogenic patterning of the hard palate in Rosa Msx1^(Wnt1-Cre)mice is severely impaired, as revealed by a marked reduction in palatine bone formation and decreased expression of the osteogenic regulator Sp7. Overexpression and knockout of Msx1 in mice show that the transcription repressor promotes the expression of the anterior palate-specific Alx1 but represses the expression of the medialposterior palate genes Barx1, Meox2, and Tbx22. Furthermore, Tbx22 constitutes a direct Msx1 target gene in the secondary palate, suggesting that Msx1 can directly repress the expression of medial-posterior specific genes. Finally, we determine that Sp7 is downstream of Tbx22 in palatal mesenchymal cells,suggesting that a Msx1/Tbx22/Sp7 axis participates in the regulation of palate development. | 17 | Study on an intelligent fault-tolerant technique for multiple satellite configured navigation under highly dynamic conditions显示文摘The probability of pseudo-range information being faulty will increase when there is increased noise in the receiver due to highly dynamic conditions. In this paper, an intelligent fault-tolerant federated Kalman filter (IFFKF) is presented to solve the problem of invalid position information as a result of the uncertainty in the category and quantity of failed satellites in a multiple configured satellite system. At the same time, a corresponding intelligent fault-tolerant system structure based on a cell-level fusion mode of operation was designed. Furthermore, a fault diagnosis strategy is proposed to deal with gradually or suddenly changing faults. By monitoring the residual and the residual rate, an observation quality gene is obtained using a fuzzy logic control system, and the local filter is adaptively adjusted on-line. Consequently, any filtering divergence arising from a gradually changing fault can, to a large extent, be prevented. The results show that the proposed algorithm and structure can achieve reliable positioning by fully utilizing new multiple satellites, monitoring and managing the gradual fault, as well as detecting and isolating any sudden fault in a synchronous manner.
