| 1 | Electrical Capacitance Tomography Measurement of Flow Patterns and Film Thickness in a Thermosyphon显示文摘An experimental study was performed to evaluate the suitability of using an electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) system to visualize the flow patterns, and to measure the film thickness of the annular flow in a two-phase closed thermosyphon (TPCT). The performance of the ECT system was examined over a range of flow conditions.The experimental data were compared with the visual observations and existing correlations. Results indicated that the ECT system, with the linear back projection (LBP) algorithm, could be used to give an on-line qualitative image of the flow patterns. The Landweber iteration algorithm with optimal step length was implemented off-line to reconstruct high-resolution images. Then, the images were analyzed to obtain the film thickness of the annular flow. | 2 | A Feasibility Study on ECT Monitoring of Froth Molding of Polyurethane显示文摘This paper presents our recent experimental investigation on the feasibility of monitoring the froth molding, a special case of solidification process, of polyurethane by using electrical capacitance tomography. The major challenge is the extremely low solid density of the solidified material during the process due to the very large expansion ratio. Suitable calibration method is sought and adequate image reconstruction algorithm is applied for such a task. Different expansion modes have been observed during experiment and corresponding images reconstructed. This visualization technique clearly revealed the expansion process by a time series of images of the solid density. The test results proved the capability of electrical capacitance tomography in monitoring the expansion of polyurethane. | 8 | A 10-bit 110 MHz SAR ADC with asynchronous trimming in 65-nm CMOS显示文摘A 10-bit 110 MHz SAR ADC with asynchronous trimming is presented.In this paper,a high linearity sampling switch is used to produce a constant parasitical barrier capacitance which would not change with the range of input signals.As a result,the linearity of the SAR ADC will increase with high linearity sampled signals.Farther more,a high-speed and low-power dynamic comparator is proposed which would reduce the comparison time and save power consumption at the same time compared to existing technology.Additionally,the proposed comparator provides a better performance with the decreasing of power supply.Moreover,a highspeed successive approximation register is exhibited to speed up the conversion time and will reduce about 50%register delay.Lastly,an asynchronous trimming method is provided to make the capacitive-D AC settle up completely instead of using the redundant cycle which would prolong the whole conversion period.This SAR ADC is implemented in 65-nm CMOS technology the core occupies an active area of only 0.025 mm^2 and consumes 1.8 mW.The SAR ADC achieves SFDR > 68 dB and SNDR > 57 dB,resulting in the FOM of 28 f J/conversion-step.From the test results,the presented SAR ADC provides a better FOM compared to previous research and is suitable for a kind of ADC IP in the design SOC. | Daiguo Xu Shiliu Xu Xi Li Jie Pu | 2017 | Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,4: | 0 |
| 9 | Comparative study on ciprofloxacin removal in sulfur-mediated biological systems显示文摘The removal of ciprofloxacin(CIP)in sulfur-mediated bio processes,e.g.,sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB)-mediated process and sulfur-oxidizing bacteria(SOB)-mediated process,was examined for the first time.The results showed that the SRB-mediated process had more efficient CIP removal than that in SOB-mediated process.Adsorption was the primary removal pathway of CIP in SRB-mediated process and SOB-mediated process with the specific adsorption removal rate of 131.4±1.1μg/g-SS/d and30.1±1.4μg/g-SS/d,respectively,at influent CIP concentration of 500μg/L.In addition,extracellular polymeric substances(EPS)also played an important role on CIP migration and removal in both types of sludge.Further study was conducted to specify the different adsorption of CIP in these two sludge systems from the perspective of sludge properties.The results indicated that there are more potential adsorption sites exist on the SRB-mediated sludge for CIP adsorption than SOB-mediated sludge since the higher protein(PN)content and more kinds of aromatic amino acid substances in EPS,more negative zeta-potential and stronger and more numbers of functional groups in SRB-mediated sludge compared to SOB-mediated sludge.The findings of this study provide insights into the sludge properties affecting CIP removal in sulfur-mediated bioprocesses,and are of guiding significance to employ sulfur-mediated biological systems for treating CIP-containing wastewaters. | Huiqun Zhang Shiliu Song Lianpeng Sun Qing Zhao Hui Lu | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,6: | 0 |
