8A review on food oral tribology显示文摘Food entering the oral cavity undergoes a series of complex processing behaviors.It is subjected to compression and shearing by the teeth,tongue,and palate to reduce its size and mix with saliva until it is swallowed.The oral processing behaviors are thought to be closely related to both food and oral frictional properties.Much effort has been made in recent decades about food oral tribology to explore this complicated lubrication behavior.Understanding the lubrication mechanism of food in the mouth is important for improving the consumption experience and developing the novel food.This paper provides a new perspective on the effects of composition,texture,structure,and saliva-food component interactions on lubrication properties of different foods,the relationship between sensory perception and oral frictional behavior,and the mechanism and pattern of lubrication categorized by common food types.The roles of tribology in the improvement of food taste,the search for healthier ingredient substitutes,functional foods,and the development of green foods are analyzed.Conceptual and numerical prediction models among physical properties,sensory perception,and frictional behavior of food are discussed.Studies of simulating oral processing,such as the selection of friction pair materials,physical modification of contact surfaces,addition of saliva,different modes of motion,and contact forms are concluded and classified.The progress of commercial friction apparatus as well as customized friction devices applied to the food sector in recent years are described.The characteristics,performances,and applications of these tribological instruments are analyzed and compared.In addition,the results achieved by oral tribology in identifying adulterated foods and ensuring food safety are presented.Finally,some suggestions are put forward for the current challenges and future development of food oral tribology.Wenhu XU Shuaike YU Min ZHONG 2022Friction2022,10,12:0
9Extraction on the Contact Forces Among the Opaque and Non-photoelastic Particles Under Electromagnetic Force显示文摘Contact force is related to the mechanical response of superconducting strands under a large electromagnetic body force,which is important for the safety of the international t hermonuclear experimen tai reac tor(ITER)magne t struc ture.Due to the complex st rue ture of the cable-in-conduit conductor(CICC),the component unit of the ITER magnet,and the extreme operating environment,the research on the strand contact force caused by the electromagnetic force has been progressing slowly.In this study,a two-dimensional(2D)theoretical model based on the granular elemen t method is construe ted to compute the contac t forces among some opaque and non-photoelastic ferromagnetic particles which are placed in a non-uniform magnetic field.In the experiment,the contact deformations of these particles may be obtained by the digital image correlation method.We also propose a method,which is similar to the least-squares method,to calculate the electromagnetic body forces of different particles.Subsequently,the distributional and statistical characteristics of the contac t force chains and contact angles are presen ted.It is considered that the method proposed in this paper is suitable for the contact force analysis of the cross section of superconducting strands in the ITER CICC that is subjected to a transverse elec-tromagnetic force.In the end,this 2D theoretical model is generalized to the three-dimensional(3D)case,and the concise mathematical framework is presented.Shuaike Jiao Cong Liu Jun Zhou Xingyi Zhang You-He Zhou 2022Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2022,35,2:0
10Mechanism of C_(4)AF Content and Heat-curing Process on the Abrasion Resistance of High Ferrite Cement显示文摘Cement used in severe maritime environments must be attached with exceptional properties such as high sulfate resistance and abrasion strength.A sulfate resistant material typically used in marine engineering is high ferrite cement,which has been utilized in sulfate-rich environments.This study aims at exploring the effect of C_(4)AF and heat-curing on the abrasion resistance of high ferrite cement(HFC,C_(4)AF:14%-22%)in order to have a comprehensive understanding of this mechanism and promote the application of HFC in marine engineering.A new invention was designed for the abrasion resistance device by considering the sea-wave abrasion and seawater erosion in laboratory.The compressive strength and abrasion resistance of HFC were measured.Additionally,advanced analytical methods were used to explore the abrasion resistance mechanism of HFC,including X-ray fluorescence(XRF),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and thermogravimetric(TG)analyses,as well as mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP).The results showed that HFC had the best abrasion resistance under appropriate heat-curing system that the curing temperature was 50℃and the hosting time was 4 hours,compared with PI(Portland cement)and LHC(low heat cement),meanwhile the abrasion resistance of HFC had a 62.4%increase when C_(4)AF content is increased from 14%to 22%.It can be ascribed that the content of portlandite is decreased due to the increase of C_(4)AF,which can reduce the portlandite assembled in ITZ(interfacial transition zone).It can also be ascribed that the DEF(delayed ettringite formation)is successfully avoided in HFC and the hydration degree of HFC can continue to be boosted under appropriate heat-curing system.邓青山 FENG Yuqiu ZENG Lang WANG Shuaike WEI Shaoshan 饶美娟 2022Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2022,37,3:0
11Doping engineering of lithium-aluminum layered double hydroxides for high-efficiency lithium extraction from salt lake brines显示文摘Lithium-aluminum layered double hydroxides(LiAl-LDH)have been be successfully applied in commercial-scale for lithium extraction from salt lake brine,however,further advancement of their applications is hampered by suboptimal Li^(+)adsorption performance and ambiguous extraction process.Herein,a doping engineering strategy was developed to fabricate novel Zn^(2+)-doped LiAl-LDH(LiZnAl-LDH)with remarkable higher Li^(+)adsorption capacity(13.4 mg/g)and selectivity(separation factors of 213,834,171 for Li^(+)/K^(+),Li^(+)/Na^(+),Li^(+)/Mg^(2+),respectively),as well as lossless reusability in Luobupo brine compared to the pristine LiAl-LDH.Further,combining experiments and simulation calculations,it was revealed that the specific surface area,hydrophilic,and surface attraction for Li^(+)of LiZnAl-LDH were significantly improved,reducing the adsorption energy(Ead)and Gibbs free energy(ΔG),thus facilitating the transfer of Li^(+)from brine into interface followed by insertion into voids.Importantly,the intrinsic oxygen vacancies derived from Zn-doping depressed the diffusion energy barrier of Li^(+),which accelerated the diffusion process of Li^(+)in the internal bulk of LiZnAl-LDH.This work provides a general strategy to overcome the existing limitations of Li^(+)recovery and deepens the understanding of Li^(+)extraction on LiAl-LDH.Lingjie Zhang Tingting Zhang Yunliang Zhao Guangfeng Dong Shuaike Lv Songliang Ma Shaoxian Song Mildred Quintana 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
