2Hierarchical red phosphorus incorporated TiO_(2) hollow sphere heterojunctions toward superior photocatalytic hydrogen production显示文摘Solar-to-hydrogen conversion through photocatalysis is a sustainable and promising strategy for storing solar energy.Recently,elemental red phosphorus(RP)with broad light absorption has been recognized as a potential candidate for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution,while challenges remain due to the rapid recombination of photogenerated carriers.In this work,RP modified TiO_(2)hollow spheres were designed and fabricated through the chemical vapor deposition method.The optimal hydrogen production rate reaching 215.5μmol/(g h)over TiO_(2)@RP heterostructure was obtained under simulated solar light irradiation.Experimental results evidenced that the hollow sphere structure and RP light absorber extended light absorption ability,and the heterostructure induced interfacial charge migration facilitated photoinduced charge separation,which benefited the photocatalytic hydrogen production performance.Guiqing Huang Wanneng Ye Chunxiao Lv Denys S.Butenko Chen Yang Gaolian Zhang Ping Lu Yan Xu Shuchao Zhang Hongwei Wang Yukun Zhu Dongjiang Yang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,13:3

4Vegetation-related dry deposition of global PM_(2.5) from satellite observations显示文摘Vegetation plays an important role in the dry deposition of particles with significant spatial variability,but the magnitude remains unclear at the global scale.With the aid of satellite products,this study estimated the vegetation-related dry deposition of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5)).Methodologically,dry deposition was first calculated using an empirical algorithm.Then,deposition on the leaf surface was estimated to evaluate the influence of vegetation.Our results showed that the mean deposition velocity(V_(d))of global PM_(2.5)was 0.91×10^(-3)μg·m^(-2)·s^(-1),with high velocities observed in sparsely vegetated regions because of the high friction velocity.Under the combined effect of the PM_(2.5)mass concentration and deposition velocity,the global mean dry deposition reached 0.47 g·m-^(2)·yr^(-1).Global vegetation absorbed 0.26 g·m-^(2)·yr^(-1)from PM_(2.5)pollution sources,contributing 54.98%of the total dry deposition.Spatially,vegetation-related dry deposition was high in the Amazon,Central Africa and East China due to dense vegetation coverage or serious pollution.Temporally,the increasing trends were mainly in Central Africa and India because of worsening air pollution.The results of this study helped to clarify the impact of vegetation on air pollution,which supported related land management and planning for air quality improvement.FENG Huihui DING Ying ZOU Bin COHEN Jason Blake YE Shuchao YANG Zhuolin QIN Kai LIU Lei GU Xiaodong 2022Journal of Geographical Sciences2022,32,4:1
5Saturation efficiency for detecting 1550 nm photons with a 2×2 array of Mo0.8Si0.2 nanowires at 2.2 K显示文摘Amorphous materials are attractive candidates for fabricating the superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors(SNSPDs) due to their superior tolerance and scalability over crystalline niobium nitride. However, the reduced superconducting transition temperature degenerates both operating temperature and saturation efficiency. Herein, the SNSPD(6.5 nm thickness and 50 nm width) based on the amorphous Mo0.8Si0.2 film with a high optical absorption coefficient demonstrates close-to-unity intrinsic detection efficiency for 1550 nm photons from 75 m K to 2.2 K. Further, a high-performance array SNSPD with optimized 90 nm-width wires is also demonstrated. 6Immigration,transformation,and emission control of sulfur and nitrogen during gasification of MSW:Fundamental and engineering review显示文摘This paper proposes a comprehensive summary and analysis of an important issue during municipal solid waste(MSW)gasification-sulfur and nitrogen pollution.It provides an overview of the fundamentals of MSW and the basic aspects of nitrogen and sulfur elements.Their characteristics of immigration,transformation and distribution during gasification with control solutions in realized or potential engineering are also concluded.The analysis indicates that the complete scenario of the occurrence form of sulfur and nitrogen elements in MSW is difficult to obtain,owing to the diverse sources and complicated compositions.However,with the assistance of advanced characterization and quantification methods(XPS,XRD,TG-FTIR,et al.),the common sulfur-and nitrogen-containing compounds in both organic and inorganic states can be detected.Adjustment of gasification conditions can regulate the transformation of these elements for emission control.The multiple pollutants including H_(2)S,SO_(x),COS,NH_(3),HCN and NO_(x)cannot be eliminated by one-step treatment but a combination of adsorption and catalytic treatments may realize the control goal.This research aims to benefit meeting emission standards during MSW gasification and to provide a reference for other processes such as incineration,pyrolysis and other feedstocks like biomass and refuse derived fuel(RDF).Shuchao Cheng Xueyu Ding Xinxin Dong Mengjie Zhang Xinqi Tian Yang Liu Yaji Huang Baosheng Jin 2023Carbon Resources Conversion2023,6,3:0
