1Emerging role of deep learning-based artificial intelligence in tumor pathology显示文摘The development of digital pathology and progression of state-of-the-art algorithms for computer vision have led to increasing interest in the use of artificial intelligence(AI),especially deep learning(DL)-based AI,in tumor pathology.The DL-based algorithms have been developed to conduct all kinds of work involved in tumor pathology,including tumor diagnosis,subtyping,grading,staging,and prognostic prediction,as well as the identification of pathological features,biomarkers and genetic changes.The applications of AI in pathology not only contribute to improve diagnostic accuracy and objectivity but also reduce the workload of pathologists and subsequently enable them to spend additional time on high-level decision-making tasks.In addition,AI is useful for pathologists to meet the requirements of precision oncology.However,there are still some challenges relating to the implementation of AI,including the issues of algorithm validation and interpretability,computing systems,the unbelieving attitude of pathologists,clinicians and patients,as well as regulators and reimbursements.Herein,we present an overview on how AI-based approaches could be integrated into the workflow of pathologists and discuss the challenges and perspectives of the implementation of AI in tumor pathology.Yahui Jiang Meng Yang Shuhao Wang Xiangchun Li Yan Sun 2020Cancer Communications2020,40,4:15
2Geochemistry of Pyrite from the Gangcha Gold Deposit, West Qinling Orogen, China: Implications for Ore Genesis显示文摘The Gangcha gold deposit was discovered in 2011 in the Xiahe-Hezuo region, West Qinling Orogen, China. Five types of pyrite have been identified in the ore according to the detailed mineral paragenetic studies. Geochemical data are presented for type I pyrite(py1) rim-core zonation and for the different types of pyrite based on in-situ laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICP-MS) and electron probe microanalysis(EPMA). The results show that pyrites are characterized with heterogeneous Au concentrations, which indicate that Au occurs mainly as micro-or nano-particle native inclusions. Time-resolved depth profiles demonstrate that As, Co and Ni occur as solid solutions in pyrite, whereas Cu, Pb, Zn and Ag occur mainly as inclusions. Trace element concentrations differ between rims and cores in py1, and the differences also exist within different pyrite types. 3Zinc finger transcription factor Sp7/Osterix acts on bone formation and regulates col10a1a expression in zebrafish显示文摘Sp7/Osterix as a zinc finger transcription factor is expressed specifically in osteoblasts.Embryonic lethality of Sp7 knockout mice,however,has prevented from examining the functions of Sp7 in osteoblast and bone formation in live animals.Here we used TALEN,a versatile genome-editing tool,to generate one zebrafish sp7 mutant line.Homozygous sp7-/- mutant zebrafish are able to survive to adulthood.Alizarin Red staining and Micro-CT analysis showed that sp7-/- larvae and adult fish fail to develop normal opercula,and display curved tail fins and severe craniofacial malformation,while Alcian Blue staining showed no obvious cartilage defects in sp7-/- fish.Quantitative RT-PCR showed that a number of osteoblast markers including spp1,phex,col1 ala,and col1a1 b are significantly down-regulated in sp7-/- fish.Furthermore,col10a1 a,whose ortholog is the cartilage marker in mice,was shown to be a novel downstream gene of Sp7 as an osteoblast marker in zebrafish.Together,these results suggest that Sp7 is required for zebrafish bone development and zebrafish sp7 mutants provide animal models for investigating novel aspects of bone development.Pengfei Niu Zhaomin Zhong Mingyong Wang Guodong Huang Shuhao Xu Yi HOU Yilin Yan Han Wang 2017Science Bulletin2017,62,3:4
4The improved artificial bee colony algorithm for mixed additive and multiplicative random error model and the bootstrap method for its precision estimation显示文摘To solve the complex weight matrix derivative problem when using the weighted least squares method to estimate the parameters of the mixed additive and multiplicative random error model(MAM error model),we use an improved artificial bee colony algorithm without derivative and the bootstrap method to estimate the parameters and evaluate the accuracy of MAM error model.The improved artificial bee colony algorithm can update individuals in multiple dimensions and improve the cooperation ability between individuals by constructing a new search equation based on the idea of quasi-affine transformation.The experimental results show that based on the weighted least squares criterion,the algorithm can get the results consistent with the weighted least squares method without multiple formula derivation.The parameter estimation and accuracy evaluation method based on the bootstrap method can get better parameter estimation and more reasonable accuracy information than existing methods,which provides a new idea for the theory of parameter estimation and accuracy evaluation of the MAM error model.Leyang Wang Shuhao Han 2023Geodesy and Geodynamics2023,14,3:3
5The dynamic evolution of aggregated lithium dendrites in lithium metal batteries显示文摘Lithium(Li)metal anodes promise an ultrahigh theoretical energy density and low redox potential,thus being the critical energy material for next-generation batteries.Unfortunately,the formation of Li dendrites in Li metal anodes remarkably hinders the practical applications of Li metal anodes.Herein,the dynamic evolution of discrete Li dendrites and aggregated Li dendrites with increasing current densities is visualized by in-situ optical microscopy in conjunction with ex-situ scanning electron microscopy.As revealed by the phase field simulations,the formation of aggregated Li dendrites under high current density is attributed to the locally concentrated electric field rather than the depletion of Li ions.More specifically,the locally concentrated electric field stems from the spatial inhomogeneity on the Li metal surface and will be further enhanced with increasing current densities.Adjusting the above two factors with the help of the constructed phase field model is able to regulate the electrodeposited morphology from aggregated Li dendrites to discrete Li dendrites,and ultimately columnar Li morphology.The methodology and mechanistic understanding established herein give a significant step toward the practical applications of Li metal anodes.Xin Shen Rui Zhang Shuhao Wang Xiang Chen Chuan Zhao Elena Kuzmina Elena Karaseva Vladimir Kolosnitsyn Qiang Zhang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,9:3
6Optimal Operation of an Integrated Electricity-heat Energy System Considering Flexible Resources Dispatch for Renewable Integration显示文摘Large fluctuations may occur on the energy supply and the load sides when large-scale renewable energies are integrated,leading to great challenges in power systems.The renewable power curtailment is especially numerous in the integrated electricity-heat energy system(IEHES)on account of electricity-heat coupling.The flexible resources(FRs)on both the energy supply and load sides are introduced into the optimal dispatch of the IEHES and further modeled to alleviate the renewable fluctuations in this paper.On the energy supply side,three kinds of FRs based on electricity-heat coordination are modeled and discussed.On the load side,the shiftable electricity demand resource is characterized.On this basis,the solution for FRs participating in IEHES dispatch is given,with goals of maximizing the renewable penetration ratio and lowering operation costs.Two scenarios are performed,and the results indicate that the proposed optimal dispatch strategy can effectively reduce the renewable energy curtailment and improve the flexibility of the IEHES.The contribution degrees of different FRs for renewable integration are also explored.Wei Wang Shuhao Huang Guangming Zhang Jizhen Liu Zhe Chen 2021Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,4:3
7Improved cat swarm optimization for parameter estimation of mixed additive and multiplicative random error model显示文摘To estimate the parameters of the mixed additive and multiplicative(MAM)random error model using the weighted least squares iterative algorithm that requires derivation of the complex weight array,we introduce a derivative-free cat swarm optimization for parameter estimation.We embed the Powell method,which uses conjugate direction acceleration and does not need to derive the objective function,into the original cat swarm optimization to accelerate its convergence speed and search accuracy.We use the ordinary least squares,weighted least squares,original cat swarm optimization,particle swarm algorithm and improved cat swarm optimization to estimate the parameters of the straight-line fitting MAM model with lower nonlinearity and the DEM MAM model with higher nonlinearity,respectively.The experimental results show that the improved cat swarm optimization has faster convergence speed,higher search accuracy,and better stability than the original cat swarm optimization and the particle swarm algorithm.At the same time,the improved cat swarm optimization can obtain results consistent with the weighted least squares method based on the objective function only while avoiding multiple complex weight array derivations.The method in this paper provides a new idea for theoretical research on parameter estimation of MAM error models.Leyang Wang Shuhao Han 2023Geodesy and Geodynamics2023,14,4:2

10Insulin peptides and their receptors regulate ovarian development and oviposition behavior in Diaphorina citri显示文摘Diaphorina citri is an important vector of Citrus Huanglongbing(HLB)disease.After feeding on young host plant shoots,the population of D.citri can increase significantly.Females also only lay eggs on young shoots.However,there are few studies on the mechanism of this phenomenon.Exogenous nutrient signals can affect the insulin signaling system of D.citri after feeding on young shoots.In this study,the expression of upstreamfactors DclLPl,DclLP2,and DclR in the insulin signaling system of D.citri was upregulated after feeding on young shoots.After being silenced by RNA interference technology,the results showed that the number of oviposited eggs of D.citri was significantly decreased and the ovarian development was inhibited with severe vacuolation.In addition,detection using quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction showed that the upstream regulatory gene DcRheb of the target of rapamycin(TOR)pathway and the downstream reproduction-related DcVg gene were also significantly downregulated.These results suggest that feeding upon young shoots may upregulate the expression levels of upstream factors DclLPl,DclLP2,and DclR in the insulin signaling system.The signal will be through upregulating the expression of DcRheb,an upstream gene of the TOR signaling pathway.This in turn influences yolk metabolism,which eventually causes the ovaries of female D.citri to mature and therefore initiate oviposition behavior.Ziye Wang Delong Tan Feifeng Wana Shuhao Guo Jinhua Liu Andrew G.S.Cuthbertson Baoli Qiu Wen Sang 2023Insect Science2023,30,1:1

12饲粮中添加金盏菊提取物对肉鸡生长性能、色素沉积、抗氧化能力及肉品质的影响显示文摘本试验旨在研究饲粮中添加金盏菊提取物对肉鸡生长性能、色素沉积、抗氧化能力及肉品质的影响。320只1日龄的AA肉鸡随机分为5个处理组,每个处理组8个重复,每个重复8只鸡。对照组饲喂基础饲粮,其他处理组在基础饲粮中分别添加0.075%,0.15%,0.30%和0.60%金盏菊提取物(相对应的叶黄素浓度分为15、30、60及120 mg/kg)。结果显示,金盏菊提取物可以显著增加肉鸡小腿、喙、皮肤和肌肉的黄色水平以及腿肌的红度线性效应,P<0.01)。金盏菊提取物可以显著增加肉鸡肝脏和腿肌中总抗氧化能力和超氧化物歧化酶的活性(线性效应,P<0.01)。金盏菊提取物显著地降低肉鸡腿肌的滴水损失和剪切力(线性效应,P<0.01)。金盏菊提取物对于肉鸡的生长性能并无显著影响。根据试验结果我们得出结论,肉鸡饲粮中添加金盏菊提取物能够显著增加屠体的黄色水平,提高抗氧化能力和改善肉品质。Shuhao Wang 林厦菁 2016广东饲料2016,0,10:1

17The chemical origin of temperature-dependent lithium-ion concerted diffusion in sulfide solid electrolyte Li_(10)GeP_(2)S_(12)显示文摘Solid-state batteries have received increasing attention in scientific and industrial communities,which benefits from the intrinsically safe solid electrolytes(SEs).Although much effort has been devoted to designing SEs with high ionic conductivities,it is extremely difficult to fully understand the ionic diffusion mechanisms in SEs through conventional experimental and theoretical methods.Herein,the temperature-dependent concerted diffusion mechanism of ions in SEs is explored through machinelearning molecular dynamics,taking Li_(10)GeP_(2)S_(12) as a prototype.Weaker diffusion anisotropy,more disordered Li distributions,and shorter residence time are observed at a higher temperature.Arrhenius-type temperature dependence is maintained within a wide temperature range,which is attributed to the linear temperature dependence of jump frequencies of various concerted diffusion modes.These results provide a theoretical framework to understand the ionic diffusion mechanisms in SEs and deepen the understanding of the chemical origin of temperature-dependent concerted diffusions in SEs.Zhong-Heng Fu Xiang Chen Nan Yao Xin Shen Xia-Xia Ma Shuai Feng Shuhao Wang Rui Zhang Linfeng Zhang Qiang Zhang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,7:1

20Catalytic activity of flame-synthesized Pd/TiO2 for the methane oxidation following hydrogen pretreatments显示文摘A nanocatalyst composed of 10wt% Pd supported on TiO2 was synthesized using one-step flame spray pyrolysis with a highly-quenched premixed stagnation flame.The as-prepared nanoparticles,having a mean diameter of approximately 10nm,were then subjected to isothermal oxidation and reduction in a fixed bed reactor.The potential roles of Pd and PdO as well as possible synergistic effects between these two active species were explored during methane conversion.The lowest light-off temperature T20 was obtained at a Pd ratio of 53% and this result can be reasonably explained based on a surface Pd-PdO site pair mechanism.Additionally,differences in the hysteresis behavior during methane oxidation were noted throughout a heating-cooling cycle over the temperature range of 200-600℃,such that the degree of hysteresis was strongly correlated with the Pd ratio.Nafeng Wang Fang Niu Shuhao Wang Yun Huang 2018Particuology2018,16,6:1
