1Spatial distribution, seasonal variation and regionalization of PM_(2.5) concentrations in China显示文摘In order to provide scientific support to policy makers in the regulation of PM2.5 pollution in China, it is important to accurately assess the current status, spatiotemporal characteristics and regionalization data for this air pollutant. An analysis of the pollution status of PM2.5 was conducted using daily averaged mass concentration data recorded in 74 cities in 2013 and 161 cities in 2014. The rotated empirical orthogonal function(REOF) method was applied to analyze this data. Results showed that the average annual PM2.5 concentration in urban areas of China is 62.2±21.5 ?g/m3, and that the distribution is spatially heterogeneous. The North China Plain, middle and lower Yangtze River Plain, Sichuan Basin and Guanzhong Plain had relatively high annual PM2.5 concentrations compared with the southeast coastal region, the Tibetan Plateau and the Yungui Plateau. PM2.5 mass concentrations tended to be higher in winter than in summer, however, the data for many cities showed a small peak in concentrations from May to July. An analysis of the spatial correlation of PM2.5 indicated a significant influence of topographic conditions. A lower correlation was observed where terrain features varied greatly. Based on the results of the REOF analysis and topographic characteristics, ten regions were identified in mid-eastern China, which could be considered as basic pollution prevention divisions for PM2.5; these include the North China Plain region, Pearl River Delta region, Jianghuai Plain region, middle Yangtze River Plain region, Northeast Plain region, Jiangnan coastal region, Sichuan Basin region, Qiantao Plain region, Guanzhong-Central Plain region and Yungui Plateau region. Seasonal variations in the regionalization data were observed, especially for the North China Plain and Pearl River Delta regions. Among the ten regions identified in this study, the North China Plain, Guanzhong-Central Plain, middle Yangtze River Plain and Jianghuai Plain had relatively high PM2.5 mass concentrations in comparison with the others. Therefore, these regions should be considered as the key regions to target in developing PM2.5 pollution prevention strategies. 2Coriander Genomics Database:a genomic,transcriptomic,and metabolic database for coriander显示文摘Coriander(Coriandrum sativum L.),also known as cilantro,is a globally important vegetable and spice crop.Its genome and that of carrot are models for studying the evolution of the Apiaceae family.Here,we developed the Coriander Genomics Database(CGDB,http://cgdb.bio2db.com/)to collect,store,and integrate the genomic,transcriptomic,metabolic,functional annotation,and repeat sequence data of coriander and carrot to serve as a central online platform for Apiaceae and other related plants.Using these data sets in the CGDB,we intriguingly found that seven transcription factor(TF)families showed significantly greater numbers of members in the coriander genome than in the carrot genome.The highest ratio of the numbers of MADS TFs between coriander and carrot reached 3.15,followed by those for tubby protein(TUB)and heat shock factors.As a demonstration of CGDB applications,we identified 17 TUB family genes and conducted systematic comparative and evolutionary analyses.RNA-seq data deposited in the CGDB also suggest dose compensation effects of gene expression in coriander.CGDB allows bulk downloading,significance searches,genome browser analyses,and BLAST searches for comparisons between coriander and other plants regarding genomics,gene families,gene collinearity,gene expression,and the metabolome.A detailed user manual and contact information are also available to provide support to the scientific research community and address scientific questions.CGDB will be continuously updated,and new data will be integrated for comparative and functional genomic analysis in Apiaceae and other related plants.Xiaoming Song Fulei Nie Wei Chen Xiao Ma Ke Gong Qihang Yang Jinpeng Wang Nan Li Pengchuan Sun Qiaoying Pei Tong Yu Jingjing Hu Xinyu Li Tong Wu Shuyan Feng Xiu-Qing Li Xiyin Wang 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:4
3Clinical observation on pericardial effusion in patients with lung cancer treated by intrapericardial catheterization and infusion of highly agglutinative staphylococcin and cisplatin显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of injecting highly agglutinative staphylococcin (HASL) and cisplatin into pericardial cavity of lung cancer patients with pericardial effusion. Methods: 81 patients were randomized into two groups: 45 in the experimental group (HASL and Cisplatin) and 36 in the control group (Cisplatin). At first pericardial effusion was drained out from a intrapericardial catheter and then different drugs were infused, respectively. 24 h after perfusion the draining continued again until drainage quantity was less than 30 mL every day. The draining lasted 10–15 days. Results: The response rate was 91.1% for the experimental group and 80.6% for the control group. There was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The complete remission was 77.8% for the experimental group and 52.8% for the control group, which was statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The adverse effects were myelosuppression and nausea and vomiting, which were 35.6% and 40.0% in the experimental group and 72.2% and 66.7% in the control group, respectively (P<0.01, P<0.05). 5Metal-Organic Frameworks-derived Indium Clusters/Carbon Nanocomposites for Efficient CO_(2) Electroreduction显示文摘Electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide into value-added products is a promising way to recycle the greenhouse gas,thus solving the crisis of global warming.Pressing challenges remain in regulating the catalytic selectivity.In this work,we demonstrated a metal-organic frameworks-assisted approach to synthesizing In species loaded on the surface of N doped carbon matrix.By controlling the particle sizes,the catalytic selectivity can be easily altered.The obtained Inc/NC possesses the outstanding capability for converting CO_(2)into CO.And 80.09%Faraday efficiency(FE)of CO can be achieved at 0.8 V vs.RHE.While the In_(2)O_(3)/C exhibits different catalytic behaviors,the main product is formic acid and the FE is more than 50%at 0.8 V vs.RHE.The selectivity reversal can be attributed to the strong interactions between In clusters and N atoms of carbon supports,which efficiently inhibits the formation of the by-product,formic acid.Our research has paved a new way to modulate catalytic selectivity by manipulating the fine structures of the catalysts.GONG Yu PAN Jing ZHANG Lingling WANG Xiao SONG Shuyan ZHANG Hongjie 2022Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2022,38,5:0
6Ultra-long room temperature phosphorescence of indium-based organic inorganic metal halides for naked-eye-visible afterglow显示文摘Solid-state molecules based on room-temperature phosphorescent(RTP)emission have received extensive attention due to their special optical properties of triplet excitons.However,there are still few solid molecular systems with naked-eye-visible afterglow characteristics.Herein,we introduce 4-phenylbenzylamine(namely PBA)with a long conjugated system into common non-toxic In^(3+)to form an indium-based organic inorganic halide,whose chemical formula is PBA_(3)[InCl_6]·H_(2)O.Interestingly,this hybrid halide generates a RTP emission at 617 nm with a lifetime decay as long as 290.4 ms,expressing a naked-eye-visible afterglow for more than 7 s.The mechanism study shows that the long lifetime RTP originated from the specific lamellar stacking of organic molecules and metal halide units,facilitating the interaction between the inorganic layers and organic layers.Therefore,the material can be potentially used in emergency lighting,information security,and other fields.Meanwhile,this work provides a reference for the design and implementation of a more efficient organic-inorganic hybrid system with the ultralong RTP emission.Heng Yu Hao Gong Zhaorui Hua Yang Zhang Wenming Sun Shuyan Gong Ganglong Cui Yang Tian Hongbing Fu 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,9:0
7Comparative analysis of long noncoding RNAs in angiosperms and characterization of long noncoding RNAs in response to heat stress in Chinese cabbage显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)are widely present in different species and play critical roles in response to abiotic stresses.However,the functions of lncRNAs in Chinese cabbage under heat stress remain unknown.Here,we first conducted a global comparative analysis of 247,242 lncRNAs among 37 species.The results indicated that lncRNAs were poorly conserved among different species,and only 960 lncRNAs were homologous to 524 miRNA precursors.We then carried out lncRNA sequencing for a genome-wide analysis of lncRNAs and their target genes in Chinese cabbage at different stages of heat treatment.In total,18,253 lncRNAs were identified,of which 1229 differentially expressed(DE)lncRNAs were characterized as being heat-responsive.The ceRNA network revealed that 38 lncRNAs,16 miRNAs,and 167 mRNAs were involved in the heat response in Chinese cabbage.Combined analysis of the cis-and trans-regulated genes indicated that the targets of DE lncRNAs were significantly enriched in the“protein processing in endoplasmic reticulum”and“plant hormone signal transduction”pathways.Furthermore,the majority of HSP and PYL genes involved in these two pathways exhibited similar expression patterns and responded to heat stress rapidly.Based on the networks of DE lncRNA-mRNAs,29 and 22 lncRNAs were found to interact with HSP and PYL genes,respectively.Finally,the expression of several critical lncRNAs and their targets was verified by qRT-PCR.Overall,we conducted a comparative analysis of lncRNAs among 37 species and performed a comprehensive analysis of lncRNAs in Chinese cabbage.Our findings expand the knowledge of lncRNAs involved in the heat stress response in Chinese cabbage,and the identified lncRNAs provide an abundance of resources for future comparative and functional studies.Xiaoming Song Jingjing Hu Tong Wu Qihang Yang Xuehuan Feng Hao Lin Shuyan Feng Chunlin Cui Ying Yu Rong Zhou Ke Gong Tong Yu Qiaoying Pei Nan Li 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:0
